Alpha: Volley Ball!
Before Alek had time to react he was suffering from vertigo as he spun around in the air, flailing, and then he felt the water slam against his skin. It didn't feel good at all. In fact it took his breath, as the water started pushing him roughly on shore. He gasped, and breathed water. He held his breath until he realized he was beached, and the water retracted.

He started to slowly pull his aching body to his feet as he wiped some of the sand off of himself. As Evie called down to him he smirked at her offer. He shrugged slightly, Hiding the pain he felt from some of the sand abrasions he suffered now and walked towards her to take part in this friendly little game.

"I always enjoyed your bite, it was very fulfilling. Glad to hear you haven't lost it." He walked close to her and cracked his neck and pulled one of his arms across his body, before taking a few quick hops. A normal warm up back when took part in mixed martial arts (which seemed like forever ago) "You plan to drive me to the ground again?" He offered with a bit of a chuckle. "Im game..."

He turned and saw two Omegas head their way. "Well why don't we set our rematch for later, and just show these Omega's what Alphas are all about." His smirk was playfully devious. He had a mean spike, and could move well, given his training from his fighting came back to him. And he knew Evie was good at moving, and he was certain that the two of them could take out these... two omegas. He hoped more would come. A challenge to say the least.

Omegas: Surrounded... Leaving the beach...
Varian turned to Raine as she spoke to him... What would anyone know of living vicariously? There was a lot Varian felt that he wasn't sure why. He had many times experienced many things his brother felt, but Varian himself had never physically dealt with. It was with that way for a lot of things that Varian was around. But the one time he wished he could... with Narcissa, he failed.

"Yes... vicarious living..." he shrugged off. "Perhaps some time when you get your cello you would like to spend an evening with bow and string. Perhaps draw in a small audience. I think Bella plays... perhaps you can weave some magic there and we can get ourselves a small orchestra started." He shrugged, his face not really swaying one way or the other. Showing neither agitation nor excitement. It was just was.

Saved by Sophia... He turned to her and then he broke his stone mask, as a smile crossed his lips. "Sounds like a lovely time. Id love to go." He then turned to Raine and with the same smile nodded towards her. "Would you care to accompany? Perhaps we can find a music store... find some new material. I have played through mostly all we have back home."

*****

Cleaned and dressed Varian came out upon the puppet show that Sophia seemed to be putting on for no one in particular. "Ah, Sophie. Are we the first ones ready?" He smiled as he leaned against the railing next to where she was sitting.

"Im not really a fan of the beach. To much sand... to much salt. I hope the town is a bit better than this place." He closed his eyes as a beach breeze blew past them. "I do like the constant breezes though. I find them... soothing. Something I have yet to capture with an instrument. Perhaps I have just set a new goal for myself."

The town - Fruit and a Game

User Image

Shandra pulled the stem of a cherry she'd chosen to pop into her mouth away from her lips as Antonio asked what they should do. Honestly, she didn't know. She had just been working under the desire for fresh fruit, sunshine, and time away from the idea that she couldn't get her stitches wet.

...then again, it had been fourteen days. That was the minimum for her to have them in.

Maybe if she could find a good sized mirror and a sharp pair of sterilized scissors later that night. Till then though, she was grounded.

But there was a lot of things someone could do on the ground that she hadn't gotten around to doing at the Academy. Then again, she never would have done a lot of things with her friends who hadn't known about her powers either...much too risky. Antonio however, knew, so the suspicious things wouldn't be so suspicious and a secret... oh the possibilities.

"Do you like rollerblading?" Shandra asked.

She'd never been particularly good at it, but her balance and movements had improved drastically since the last time she'd tried. Not to mention...worse came to worse...she could cushion any sort of fall now.

With a sort of uncertain smile, not sure if it was something to smile at honestly, Shandra held out her hand. Roller skates was not something she was willing to pay for. If Antonio decided he wanted to, he could either not accept the hand or let go of it when he figured it out.

Either way, she was going to take skatting to a bit more extreme lengths...

~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~

Shandra finished latching the straps on tightly, so they wouldn't fall off, but not so tight it hurt. Her regular shoes where in a small backpack she'd...procured from the same shop, and her hair was pulled up into a high pony tail. The fruit had been more or less devoured, at least hers, so she didn't have to worry about any of that. Her whole expression was calm, her features somewhat relaxed. Until she tried to stand up and had to catch herself.

Okay, so she hadn't been on roller blades in a really long time.

So to distract herself from the fact that she'd actually almost just fallen on her butt, Shandra looked over to Antonio with a hint of curiosity in her eyes.

"When was the last time you raced down a hill in roller blades?"

Guess what she did next?

Yeeep, right down the hill.

Oh gods, she was thankful for her powers...otherwise she so would not try this. Still...it felt like flying, freedom. And she stopped herself from stretching out her arms, simply settling for a smile on her face as she closed her eyes. People probably thought her crazy for keeping this speed up...probably thought she was trying to kill herself.

But at least they knew to get out of the way.

Hopefully Antonio didn't get lost somewhere up in the crowd...though for some reason, she got the feeling he did this more than she ever would.

O+M+E+G+A- Volleyball~

The game of Volleyball on Muir Island seemed forever ago, it was of course back when Leion had little to no control over his powers and a shower of sparks would fly from his hands whenever he hit the ball. He was tougher now so he wouldn't sprain his wrist hitting the ball this time.

He swam to the shallower area of the water and propelled himself with his powers over to the group, a small wave of sand sprayed as he skidded to a halt beside Jacen as he asked about teams. He was reminded of the first time he met Jacen, also on a beach and also near the time of a volleyball game, he snickered slightly before voicing his opinion.

"The last time we played volleyball it was New Mutants versus Hellions, lets mix it up this time! How better to have a challenging game than playing with people that you're not familiar with?" he smirked while he personally had no problems with the Alphas, he could have his moments of group-think.

With his new control of his powers, sparks wouldn't shower when he hit the ball unless he wanted them to. Of course it was all about flashiness, and along with that he could use his powers to propel the ball at incredible speeds great for spiking, though certain people would be able to easily stop the ball with barely any effort.

Leion turned to Evie with a grin, "Thanks for the help in Limbo, I would never have made it to the castle without your help." he whispered, knowing her hearing was about as good as Bella's and he didn't want to bring Limbo up to everyone on vacation.

"Jacen, good to be back for sure."

Her ears caught the whispers that Leion sent to her. They registered in her ears and a smirk lined her lips. She put an arm around his shoulders playfully and said in his ear jokingly, "I never leave anybody by the wayside even if they are an Omega."

They only have five which she didn't quite like but you made do with what you have anytime you are on the field..... or on a volley ball court. Everything somehow ended up being the field to her whether it was for fun or for job. Taking a moment to think, she tried to figure how everybody's powers would come to play (she couldn't help it) and what would make things interesting. Maddy was the only one she really didn't know well. If they were at the Institute, she'd have already read everybody's student files. But here, she would learn people the.... old fashioned way.

"I think we will mix it up a bit. Let's make this interesting... Leion, let's work together again under friendlier circumstances. If we get a sixth player joining us we'll take 'em. First team to ten takes the game!"

She stepped back to the back boundary and spun the ball on her finger. Any of the people here would have made a good teammate but she enjoyed working with Leion in Limbo so why not do it again? Besides, she wanted to observe Alek from the other side of things. His behavior was bizarre to her. Was the past really forgiven or was it just a temporary calm? Things would play out as they would.

Her eyes scanned the side with Alek, Maddy, and Jacen. Jacen would probably be the toughest to go up against because of his ability. She decided to aim away from him whenever she tossed the ball up for a serve. Knowing she had the strength to slam the ball down, not giving them much of a chance, she held back. What fun would be the game otherwise? She used about half her strength and aimed for Maddy's territory. She wanted to see what the girl could do.

Vallon laughed as everyone began to splash each other, and he chuckled at Maddy's comment about not having plans, he felt a stream of water hit him in the back and turn swinging bot his arms making a wave but no one was there, when Maddy surfaced he smiled then saw the wave and nodded to her. The he watched her ride a wave into shore, land in a funny position and stand up and wave at him to try.

Vallon attempted to follow Madison's lead in the wave riding, but he was quickly pulled under and tumbled around as he hit the shore he lay on his back laughing at his own failure. He had never been to the beach before so this was all new to him but that seemed like a lot of fun he had heard of surfing but never gotten to try it, maybe he would while he was here.

Vallon dusted himself off and stood finally and saw Madison getting ready to play volleyball, he grinned at the thought of him playing so he began to walk over he spied out the teams and wondered if there was room for him to play. He saw that one team was Maddy, Alek, and Jacen The other team seemed to have Leion, and Evie Vallon grinned as he made his way up to the field to see Evie serve the ball towards Maddy normally Vallon would react but he knew Madison could take care of herself, Vallon smirked as he stepped onto the short sided team's side and nodded at Leion

Vallon was anxious to test his skills against Alek he had been since he got here really but they had never had a chance to really face off, a volleyball game wasn't exactly the first challenge he would have picked but it would do for now, Vallon grinned at Alek from the other side of the net, plus since he was on the opposite side of Maddy he could have a ltitle fun with her as well.

Omega - Far beach - Setting up a Camp

The wind was ever inviting. More so then the air around what he cared for. Switching gears to take a turn then against o come out of it zipping, Carlos felt in small part a calmness to his thoughts. The S Curves of the road became streams, and as he shifted his weight too and fro, he was simply going with the flow. Thankfully there are alot of twist and turns. The motorcycle was practically made for cornering. A few more miles between him and familiar faces and he pulled off to the next small town a ways away to see what it had to offer. As well as maybe top off the tank for his return strip back. If he went back. It's not like it was particularly inviting. He brought the bike to a stop in a small parking lot of a strip mall. The assorted local shops were very much for tourist. Carlos stowing his helmet, went towards the antique shop.

He was generally disinterested with what he saw. They weren't really his thing as he was thinking about it. It was just something to do, to keep his mind on track. Some random junk caught his eye and made him think. It was slightly natural. He grew up in an antiquated house filled with much the same. He left the store and moved onto the next. A pawn shop... More junk but more useful and mundane. He found a knife he liked and purchased, with minor difficulty, but it was now his. The next store over wasn't a place he needed to go into. A salon. He skipped and avoided the radio shack all together, and simply went back to his motorcycle to continue his ride. He was another mile or so out before he pulled off and came onto an empty beach.

The place seemed perfect to him. He walked his bike over to some shrubs and leaned against a tree then put soem cover on it so he could leave it alone without risk of it getting carted or stolen away. He went to work glad he decided to boy a knife though it was dull which made him cringe that he didn't check it first. It was easily remedied. Lots of flat stone enar water that made good for sharpening blades. He found one and took his time sharpening, after moving a few logs into place. for himself to sit and lean on in the shade. He found a piece of drift wood and began to whittle it down testing and using the knife. much better. As he whittled away he knew he wasn't going back to the condo. He missed the outdoors. He was going to camp here for a few nights for as long as he can while they were here.

He'd go check in, get a change of cloths if needed, but other then that, He was left with no real reason to be with the others, not even Cissa.

Alpha - Catalina - Being Social

User Image "That sounds nice," Raine said with a slight smile as Varian mentioned that the two of them could play sometime. Her mind wandered to the thought of the new cello in her hands, which she was sure would be there by the time they were back at vacation. She missed the bow and strings in her hands; they way it calmed her down when she was feeling stressed about the things going on in her life. Clearing her throat as she realized that she might be overstaying her welcome with him, Sophia came up to them, inviting the two of them to come into town with her and some of the gang. The brunette was thankful for the offer, tucking her hair behind her ear as Varian repeated the offer for her to accompany them.

"That sounds great," she said, the prospect of shopping for some music lightening her spirits significantly. Something andante would be just the trick. She moved with the rest of the heard into their rooms, heading her own way to change out of the clothes that smelled like salt breeze.

----------------------------------------------------------

A few minutes later, Raine was dressed in a new outfit, her hair was freshly curled from the sea breeze and a fresh spritz of water. The prospect of spending time with some of her friends, all relatively new, made her feel a little better about things in general. She stumbled in on Sophia talking with Varian mad Christian, the girl giving each of them a small wave as she came to a stop in front of them.

"Hope I haven't kept you guys waiting too long," she said with a slight laugh, knowing that none of them would say anything even if she had. Well…maybe Varian would, but that would remain to be seen. Her eyes swept from one person to the next, crossing one leg over the other as she stood perfectly balanced in a pair of kitten heels that were hardly visible under her long jean legs.

"Who all is going with us?"

Sophie minded her own while she waited for someone to show up, hoping it wouldn’t be like junior high when she got stood up at the movie theater. Turned out that her date had some terrible twenty-four hour flu that left him green and vomiting things in Technicolor splendor… But she still couldn’t forgive him when he asked her out again the following week. She went on singing to herself, her little country song, and making the flowers dance as she pleased. She didn’t even realize Christian was there, until he said something. She laughed a little, and her cheeks flushed.

That’s not talent, mon ami… You should hear Bella sometime.”, Sophia offered up honestly, embarrassed at being caught and called out on it. It was one thing to sing, another to have someone notice. Her blush deepened at his next words, and she looked at the ground, carefully weaving her flowers around the railings of the porch deck, looking for something to seem occupied with. “You really don’t want to hear me sing anymore…Ah might end up rushing you to the doctors. No… Ah wasn’t waiting long at all.”

Hearing another voice, she looked to her left and saw Varian approaching. She hadn’t expected him agree to come… But she was glad he had. He had seemed a bit down… And that just wouldn’t do. She offered him a shy smile and realized he hadn’t seen Christian standing on the other side of her… She leaned back some so the boys could see one another. “Christian made it too…Do you two know each other well?”

“Ah’m not much for sand myself… Ah like... Earth, better Ah guess you’d say… Few things grow well in the sand… Though... Capturing the breeze? Good luck with that mon ami…Let me know when you find a way.”, she replied to the rest of Varian’s words just as Raine arrived. Smiling brightly at her dear friend—She released her hold on the flowers as they finished twining their little vines.

Holding on to the railing, she stepped down on the ledge and walked all the way towards the stairs... For once managing not to fall as she tried to do the lady like thing. Once on the solid, or not so solid ground she smiled at her three friends and gesture that they follow… “Just us, Ah’m pretty sure… Lets get going…”

**

It wasn’t a long walk into town, filled with aimless chatter, and Sophie smiled as she heard the sounds of a marketplace through the trees. How interesting… There was an easy wide path to follow that also looked like it might serve as a makeshift road. Just past the road there was a thick line of palm trees, and just passed that, hundreds of brightly colored tents and lines of businesses and other small shops… Mostly it was a marketplace, but there was a huge hotel here, and a few restaurants offering wide varieties of local cuisine.

“Oi mon dieu…”
, It was like a flea market, but everywhere.

Alphas: Not being a loner has advantages as long as you don't give people a heart attack

Hoshi winced when Molly flinched away. She picked up the other girls book and handed it to her.
"Sorry I didn't mean to scare the bejeus out of you. Here's your book. This isn't much of a vacation for you is, Molly?" She asked kindly as the other girl scrambled to get her things together. Molly mumbled a reply and fled into the house. Hoshi watched her go with regret. She liked Molly.

Her attention was captured by the activities down the beach. It looked like people were gathered to play Vollyball. She grinned and ran down to Evie, who was spinning the ball on one finger. She served the ball towards Maddy as Hoshi got to her.
"Hey evie! is it too late for me to join?"

"Looks like we have company!" Evie proclaimed when more folks joined their game. This made her happy. Of course she realized that she had already put this game at a disadvantage. Before the ball was returned by Maddy, Evie proclaimed, "Let's restart this thing after we get the actual net now that we have the makings of a very very very competitive game!"

As quick as Evie could be quick, she returned with the net for their game and handed off the other side to the players to help her get it staked in and ready to go. Putting her hands on her hips, she nodded to Maddy's team which had the ball. Maddy's team consisted of Maddy, Alek, and Jacen. Evie's team now consisted of Evie, Leion, Vallon and Hoshi.

"Okay, well, back to odd numbers, but it's all good. A little adversity never hut any of us. If y'all want, we can sub in and out. If not, your serve Let's get this game rolling!"

She dug her feet into the sand ready to go. Sport was always fun. Sport with half dressed good looking men was even better. She wasn't ashamed for noticing. Despite having a resume of battles longer than a decorated war general, she was still a 20 year old female who enjoyed eye candy on the beach. They weren't telepaths. They wouldn't know (not that they would if they were telepaths. Even Emma had a hard time cracking her thoughts). Evie had a better poker face than their one time teammate Siona. The beauty of having control over her muscles like she did gave her that advantage.

This was gonna be fun. She smirked slightly like she had her own joke going on through her mind.

Alphas: A misunderstanding... Just the usual
Of course Alek was rather... upset and discouraged when Evie didn't put them on the same team. He had tried several times to redeem himself a few times, but she didn't seem to have the trust to put them on the same team. He couldn't say that he blamed. Though this was not true, it was clear as day in Alek's mind.

He quickly looked for an out. He didn't want to play if he was not on Evie's team, and just as he found it... the odd number of players, he started to leave when the ball sailed through the air. He simply watched it, getting ready to leave. When the ball stopped moving he thought he could get away.

"Hey their's an odd number, Ill sit this one out, I really do need to talk to Isa..." He was cut off as Vallon walked onto the scene evening their teams out.

"s**t" he thought to himself, unknowingly stamping his foot in the hot sand, that didn't stay that temperature for to long.

He was torn. He knew that he needed to talk to Isabella sometime, and the comforts of home were really starting to put his mind back in place, and he felt so much guilt... and he knew he had some serious apologies ahead of him. He just wasn't sure when or how to do it.

But he also had wanted to play volleyball and with even teams they would have a nice game. But just as the idea began to gain more and more merit... the once uneven teams now shifted. Now his team was going to be at a disadvantage. That's how he was viewing it now that he wished to play again. His team. He was here first with Evie... they were a team. Right? And being the first one to get here from his team, he was logically team captain, the ownership of the team fell into his hands.

Vallon and Hoshi added to Evie and Leion... dear god... how the hell did this happen. How the hell did Alek end up the only blue among the red... the only Alpha here to all the other Omega's. He couldn't help but shoot Evie a very agitated look. He didn't understand how the hell he was supposed to prove anything to her if he couldn't work with her... or even his own team.

But then he realized where this was probably coming from. Evie wanted him an Omega... bad. She wanted nothing to do with him... so now she was tossing him towards the other team any chance she got. And the smirk she gave off.

"Typical..." He thought to himself once again. "I should have known better... she has a heart somewhere, and thats why saved me... but she really wants nothing to do with me." Not even two seconds after this thought raced through his mind he saw that smirk on Evie's face. That was all the proof he needed. She was smiling at him, happy to have taken control and pushed him to the side. Pushed him away from her side.

He let out a sigh and frowned for a split second. "Uh... actually I have something else I need to take care of. You wanna hop over here and even out the teams Hoshi?" He didn't wait for an answer before he started back to where they were staying, back to his room. To contemplate just what it was he was going to do about this... about himself.

Isabella couldn't look at him. He ruined that.

Evie wanted nothing to do with him.

Gideon... well that he seemed green with envy anytime Bella wanted to spend even five minutes with him (before they had their huge confrontation.)

After some of the stunts he pulled with Narcissa... why should want him. And he was in no hurry to work with Varian, who on more than one occasion thrown him around with no reguard to his own life. Becoming Omega only seemed... suicidal.

Maybe... he should step down from this whole X-man life. It was becoming apparent that he wasn't really cut out for it. He had to much pride to just simply back out, walk out and then stay around the school to see everyone looking down on him.

They were really close to his home... maybe he could work things so he could stay in California. Never even return. He didn't have a ton of things at the institute. Nothing he couldn't live with out. Clothes... and a few miscellaneous gadgets he could just repurchase.

By now he reached his room and was sitting on the edge of his bed. He felt a void where emotions should be. He was just... done with it all. Done crying, done caring. He was a waste of time, and waste of space for all the teams here. He was a hindrance. His power had a habit of draining him to nothing and leaving him in distress. His a** always needed saving, or he had to be quickly removed from the group when he exploded. Or bring out one with contrasting powers to counter his.

So much... anger.

He grabbed the earring from his ear that he had once sworn to Bella to wear. He chucked it across the room. It hit the wall, rebounded to the night stand, cascaded to the floor and skittered its way back to him, tapping him on his foot.

He took a large book next to him and just dropped it on it. It crunched...

Alek felt his power coursing through his body again. Unfiltered. He had to get control of this... If he did leave the institute to return to his life in California he would be lacking of the resources to keep the devices repaired and up to date... or to get replacements when it burnt out.

Then a thought crossed his mind... If he wasn't going back with them... he didn't need to keep his promise not to drink to Bella. What could she do... get him expelled.

He stood up and quickly changed out of his rather revealing swimwear, and opted for some higher fashion jeans, flip flops and tee. He knew what he was going to do... he knew it would cause a stir. But honestly he didn't care. Why should it.

He had heard rumor of a group heading out to the town... how hard would it be for him to slip out with them. He knew getting the liquor wasn't hard. A quick flirt here or there with an older guy... usually did the trick, and they enjoyed the attention. Nothing ever came of it.

So he headed towards the town, stepping out to the front porch shortly after Sophia and company left. It was now or never...

Omega: I don't practice Santeria.... I aint got no crystal ball...
As more people started to show up for their outing Varian started to go mute as usual. He spoke to those he was comfortable around, or if his temper had flared. He was neither angry nor comfortable around everyone around him. He simply walked and listened to some of the idol chit chat. He chimed in short responses when necessary.

He was more focused on getting to the stores. He knew some of the shops would have glass figurines. He wanted to see some of them. Some carved glassed that was created from lightening hitting the sand, anything interesting, that reminded him of better times than some of the despair that surrounded and tormented him so.

These figurines reminded him of when he and his brother were all each other needed in the world. Viktor would created them from diamond, and Varian often played with them, made them dance through the air, catching the light, creating great light shows of prismatic effects. The colors always seems warm and cheerful. The reds, blues, and purples. The greans, oranges and yellows. The way the light danced through the crystals. He needed a new one. He didn't have one with him, he knew his old collection lost in the attacks.

This was something that could be lost, but restarted to same effect. You could never throw away a memory.

He passed a window and saw many crystals dazzling with light from the outside. "Oh... I want to take a look here." He said before walking through the door, uncaring whether others followed or not.

He wanted a crystal. Nothing fancy, just a crystal no shape nor form. Something that he could hold to the light to remind him of some of the warmth he once had. He wanted a small pendant. Something to keep around his neck, to keep on him at all times. Something that he controlled when it left him and when it didn't.

He looked over the glass counter at some of the things the vendor had to sale. He saw a few things on silver chains... "Silver never gold." He whispered allowed.

He was looking at a small charm with a sliver of crystal encased from the top, looped to the chain. It was a little pricey, but it was almost perfect for what was in his mind. "Hmmm..." He started to ponder at the thought.

Isabella felt something cold and quiet rolling in the pit of her stomach. There was enough going on in her head and heart that poor Gideon would probably feel like he was having a stroke… She’d tossed her sunglasses, shirt, shoes and towels on the beach—And without stopping breathed deeply and headed into the water. She was an exceptionally strong swimmer, and could hold her breath far longer than the average person.

The water dulled and enhanced her hearing at the same time, and she speared through the water, just a blur that went further out into the water. She had heard the sounds of a volley ball game beginning, saw Christian, Raine, Sophia, and Varian head towards the town… Heard Antonio and Mariana leave before them. Saw Alek leave after them. Arctic, because of his last stunts was one she usually kept tabs on. His attitude change had thrown her for a loop, as usual.

She didn’t know what to think, or feel, when it came to him. She couldn't trust him, or his ability... She wanted to, but he was...Unstable, these days. There had been a time when he had come to her with problems, before the Marauder attack… When he talked to her, instead of selling himself and drinking himself into a senseless mess… She kicked harder, swimming further. Trying to get past a feeling of failure that didn’t belong to her, felt nearly impossible when it came to Alek. He always had a way of making his problems everyone else’s problems, and of turning his problems into a pity party…

It was impossible to breathe when he was in the same vicinity. He made her so furious, made her feel so helpless—That she could only do one of two things, the first would be to simply endure. The second, was the small outburst she’d had earlier, letting her true feelings shine through for just a few moments. The Siren was pissed, and sick of the emo drama… Plain and simple.

Her long auburn hair swirled around her in the water, like a cape of darkness that follow her swift path through the water. When eventually she did come up for air, she tossed her hair out of her eyes, feeling it weigh her down slightly. The volley ball game would start soon… Though the psychic link she shared with Gideon, she could feel him coming closer. Feel his concern… Part of her wanted to just…Close her mind to him, as best she could. She didn’t want him dealing with her problems. Especially not Alek.

She floated up and onto her back, straightening her body as her hair fanned out—Arms and legs floating as her eyes closed. Again her hearing had both dulled and grown sharper… But even the sun on her face wouldn’t be enough to cure her of what was storming and raging in her mind…

Still, she knew she needed to learn to set the better example… But how long could she always be expected to be the one to do the right thing? One day she was going to slip, and she wouldn’t be able to stop herself. She’d learned to walk steady on her own two feet, with, or without her friends out of necessity. To be the only one she could depend on… She would deal with her wayward Alpha when the time came.

When Gideon was close enough she spoke, knowing he would hear her voice above the waves… Just the way she knew she could hear his voice over any crowd… “Don’t tell me mi amor… You’re just jealous because I gave her permission to hurt him and not you?”

Her voice was teasing, light again-- Seemingly back to normal.

"I know she won't kill him."

Omega-hello...OH GOD. User Image

Rollerblading. It was not something that he had done in a long time but, something that he had always enjoyed doing. it was the perfect day to blade around to. Just a few glides and he could lean back and feel the wind rush by him, cooling him off. Then there were the hills around that would make for a thrilling ride. There was nothing like potential danger to make adrenaline course through ones vains.

He smiled slyly as she brought up the topicof down hill racing. Though he had rode down his fair share of hill in his time, he usually did not have someone to race against. Even before she took off he was ready to go, not wanting to have the same handycap that he gave her last time. He was going to win this race, it was only fair.

And he would use some out side help. It was not cheating since she was a mutant to.

He psuhed himself forwards with his left foot, quickly picking up speed down the incline. Now came the fun part. Gyro sight active, he grabbed his red gravity line. A small amount of will from him and the line thickened, his gravity increasing. With the increase in gravity came an increase in acceleration. And that increase of accleration was all he needed to over take her.

Though he loved daredevil activities, he was not stupid. Unlike a certain Alpha, he did not have the ability to regenerate his body from near death, nor could he just cusion his fall like his lovely red head friend. A helmet and pads would keep him alive and relatively uninjured if he crashed. Most people try not to wear the unttractive things, but Antonio managed to make anything he wore look sexy. It was a curse.

Helmets and pads could only do so much though, a small antigravity field would take care of the rest, all he had to do was watch where he was going.

He picked up more and more speed as he raced down the streets, back to the market where they started out their day. The hispanic man smiled as he searched the people gatered their. He did not see Shandra among them which meant that he was winning, just a bit further and a bit more speed and victory would be his for sure. He just needed to keep focused on the course ahead, keep focus on...

Wait, those people looked familiar.

Kind of like some of his freids.

Hey, there is Sohpia, he should remember to say hi to

CRASH.

SO caught up in seeing familiar faces, Antonio neglected to pay attention to the road infront of him. Including the large orange stand. The anti gravity field slowed him down to the point where he did not die, but he still hit the stand with enough force to snap its leg, sending oranges rolling all over the place. Antonio flipped in the air once before landing on his back in the middle of the street, bruised but very much alive.
