Missing Jed's foot the sound of steel clashing against steel thundered through the arena. Just as the steel hit Riker released the steps from his grasp and let the large hunk of metal bounce back anyway it chose to. Luckily it bounced to the side and didn't come crashing back on him. Johnathan was going fed up with Jed's dodging, and was beginning to get frustrated. He walked over to Jed and went to grab him by the hair and drag him across the floor a bit before going to bring him to he's feet.

Just as Riker got Jed to he's feet, Jed managed to slap Johnathan's hands away and pull out a surprise dropkick, nailing Riker in the chest. He stumbled back from the impact a few steps before falling to his back.

Riker was to a knee and was about to stand but was nailed with another dropkick, sending him back to the floor. Now Johnathan was a few inches from the barricade.

Riker was just getting to his feet thanks to help from the barricade. He looked up to see where Jed was, and before he could react Jed was already airborne. Jed's body came across his bending Johnathan over the barricade and flipping him over it with Jed coming down on top of him, nearly breaking the barricade off it's hinges.

Riker rolled over onto his stomach trying to get to his hands and knees and eventually his feet, as the crowd around them chanted wildly for the action.

Later in the match...

And so Riker and Jed had managed to make they're way back into the ring, and we're exchanging rights. With each blow connecting the other's head snapped back. It went on like this until Jed began to fire his right faster and faster. Backing Johnathan into a corner, a rare occurance when exchanging fists with The Nightmare. However EEW's self-proclaimed Savior managed to get him into a corner, and continued to fire shot after shot at Riker. Forcing the champ to slump in the corner. Taking what time he had, Jed grabbed Riker's wrist and whipped him out of the corner and across the ring into the opposite corner, quickly following after Riker. Just as Johnathan's back and shoulder collided with the turnbuckles, Jed was airbourne and smashed Johnathan in the corner with a splash, dropping Riker to his a**. With Riker surcoming to Jed's assault, Jed took this chance and grabbed the top ropes with both hands, and placed his boot on Riker's throat, crushing his neck as he pulled on the ropes to add to the pressure. The ref wasn't gonna allow such a tactic to continue on and so he began the five count. Just as the Ref got to three Jed released the hold. Backing up with his hands up as if he did nothing wrong, he charged forward and nailed Riker with a boot wash. The boot wash caused Riker to fall to his side in the corner, he was breathing heavily and his exhaustion was visible under his distorted mask.

The crowd was booing heavily as Jed boasted his achievement in the ring, as he gotten the upperhand on Riker. However taking his time was a bad move on Jed's part as Riker was already starting to recover from Jed's assault, as he was starting to use the ropes to help him stand in the corner. Seeing this, Jed grew a bit frustrated, thinking the last burrage would have kept anyone else down. However Riker ain't the Champ for nothing. So Jed charged forward again, as Riker was halfway to his feet, a bad position for him, as Jed came in with a knee and connected it with the side of Johnathan's head. The hit caused Riker's head and arms to fly through the ropes and rest there, much like someone who was set up for a 619. Jed figured it was time to end this and so he took two hand fulls of Riker hair and pulled him to his feet out of the corner. He brought him to the center of the ring, and slowly wrapped Riker's head up for a JKO. Knowing Jed's set up for the move Riker acted quick and pushed Jed forward, and out of exhaustion quickly dropped to a knee. Jed stopped just short of the ropes and turned back to Johnathan, he too was growing exhausted and worn out as the match has drug on for quite sometime now. Pulling at his own hair Jed, made his way over to Riker and began to lightly slap at The Entity of EEW's head. Riker was bit out of it but was determined to get back to his feet no matter what awaited him. Jed, backed up to Riker's side a bit as he noticed Riker was about to get his feet.

Just as he was about to stand Jed ran towards the ropes and came bouncing back, running passed Riker. Just as he neared the rope and jumped onto the middle rope and launched himself backwards, twisting his body a bit, Jed was about to hit the American Made Cutter! However instinct kicked in and just as Jed's arm was about to make contact, Riker fell back and wrapped Jed's arm and head up, instantly applying the Blackout submission hold! The crowd exploded as the two fell to the mat. As soon as Johnathan's back hit the canvas with Jed on top of him, he brought his legs up and wrapped them around Jed's waist. The Nightmare had pulled Jed into his finisher out of nowhere, and the crowd was loving it. Cheering and screaming as Jed was viciously jerking back and forth trying to break free from Riker's clutches. However once Riker had locked in his finisher it was guaranteed that it was only a matter of time that the match was gonna end. After what seemed like an eternity Jed slowly began to fade, his legs stopped kicking his arms stopped swinging.. The Ref was forced to call it. Jed was out, and Riker had won.

*Ding! Ding! Ding!*

Announcer: "Here's your winner, by submission... The EEW Heavyweight Champion! Johnathan!! Riker!!!"

After the bell Riker was spent and was really unable to keep the Blackout locked after the bell like he usually would, and released the hold. He rolled Jed off of him, and slowly got to his knees. The Ref handed Riker his title, he took it but was too tired to really celebrate. With what strength he had left he crawled over to the ropes and began to use them to help him get to his feet. By that time Jed was starting to come to, slowly moving on the mat, trying to figure out what happened, he was sure the AMC connected but had blacked out, so he's memory was a bit foggy. He then noticed the crowd cheering and Riker's music playing, the only logical conclusion Jed could come to.. Riker had pulled one out of his hat. Jed got to his knees and noticed Riker standing next to the ropes using them to help him keep himself up. With what strength Jed had, he used the ropes closest to him, and got to his feet, holding his neck from the pain of Riker's arms squeezed around his throat. Breathing heavily, and a bit stumbly, Jed made his way over to Riker. He grabbed Johnathan shoulder and spun him around, staring him dead in the face. Riker stared back, unsure if Jed was really wanting to still go. That was until...

Jed outstretched his hand to Riker, and removed the hand from his throat. Could it be? Jed actually had some decency in him to show some sportsmanship after a clear loss? Riker wasn't sure and still with the throat of Jed's actions at Carnage Rulez still fresh in his mind he didn't care. He simply stared at Jed's hand, and then at his eyes. Then without even a nod or shake of the head, Riker dropped to the mat and rolled out of the ring, making his assent up the ramp. The camera panned in on Jed as the program faded to black, ending EEW's Burn.
