A smile gently lit up Mikomi's face. She was glad that she could be of use. "I should be able to help both of you," the woman replied, her gaze shifting from Aqua to Miho and then finally to Setsuna. The Hyuuga's pale eyes lingered on the youngest, waiting for what Setsuna would like to train in. However, the girl remained silent. Not wanting to force the other two to wait, Mikomi stopped waiting for Setsuna. Instead, she walked over to a cabinet and retrieved two unstrung bows and a container of arrows. She returned in front of Miho and Aqua to finish her reply, "If you would please follow me outside?".

Once she made her request, the heir turned and left gracefully. She wouldn't leave the area completely, though. No, she was simply heading directly outside the dojo, which simply was not meant for long-range or ninjutsu training. Outside of the dojo, Mikomi stopped at about 15 yards or so away from the back wall of the building. In front of the back wall was a row of dummies, one of which Mikomi was directly in front of.

Having chosen her spot, the woman carefully set down the vertical container of arrows and handed Miho a bow. As she offered the needed weapon, Mikomi asked with grace, "If you don't mind, could you please tell me your name?".

Once Miho answered, regardless of whether it was with a denial or with her actual name, and accepted her bow, Mikomi would turn to Aqua. The bow was unstrung, so some time would be needed to string it and make it usable. During that time, Mikomi would begin teaching Aqua, "Of the three you ask for, I know two, katon and fuuton." There was a pause in Mikomi's speech as she deliberately formed hand signs to show Aqua and then clearly worded, "Katon: Shoumeidan no Jutsu." The Hyuuga took in a deep breath and held it for a moment before exhaling it all out in one quick burst. Air, however, wasn't the only thing that came out. A small explosion of heat and fire seemed to form in front of her mouth before disappearing just as quickly as it had formed. Demonstration over, Mikomi explained, "That was the Katon: Shoumeidan no Jutsu. Also known as the Fire Release: Flare Technique. Mold the chakra in your lungs so that when it is exhaled a short burst of heat and flame is created, much like a small explosion from the mouth. The strength isn't all that intense and the duration is quite short, so this technique is mainly used to illuminate dark places for a brief moment."

Mikomi did indeed find it intriguing that Aqua was capable of learning three elements, particularly three primary elements. If she remembered correctly, the princess was still a genin. However, she was not suspicious of the cause, particularly since right next to Aqua was another girl that had initially surprised her. The genin are improving, was the gist of Mikomi's thoughts, I'll need to work harder.

A nod and smile of approval followed Aqua's flawless usage of the jutsu. It was still daytime, but it was easy to tell that the flame would have been bright enough to light the darkness. Further intrigue was present in Mikomi's mind. However, the curiosity was polite and not at all prying, Her eyes changed hue. They seemed more violent. However, she is showing it to me freely, so perhaps it's not as bad as it seems?. Not a hint of the thoughts was displayed on the chuunin's well-controlled features. As before, the expression on the face remained just as graceful and gentle.

"Excellent," Mikomi commented, "and on your first try, too. Then next will be Shuriken no Jutsu, another katon technique." As before, there was a pause in speech as Mikomi proceeded to demonstrate. First came a presentation of the needed hand signs. From there, Mikomi pulled a shuriken from her holster. She threw it at a dummy while simultaneously sending a small fire at it from her mouth. The fire caught up to the shuriken and set the entire metal weapon ablaze. As the shuriken landed firmly in the target, the explanation continued, "This is also known as Fire Release: Shuriken Technique. While I was holding the shuriken, I coated it with flammable chakra so that it would be set on fire by the small flame a blew out at it. Other small projectiles work with this technique, such as kunai and senbon, but only one projectile at a time."

While Aqua worked on the newest jutsu, Mikomi turned her head to check on Miho. The other girl was still stringing her bow. It wouldn't do to help Miho with such a simple task. She needed to learn to do it by herself. However, there was no harm in telling Miho what she would need to practice after stringing the bow. Perhaps it would even encourage her to do better. Mikomi gave her instructions, which were strict but also gentle, "After stringing the bow, please work on the Arc Bolt technique. It's from the Dokujin style, which is a style that focuses on the bow and arrow. Another name for the style is the Assassin's Arrow. The Arc Bolt technique is relatively simple: chakra is used to guide the arrow and allow it to arc in any direction of the user's choice as long as it is still aimed at the point that the arrow was originally pointing at. If you want me to demonstrate it, feel free to ask me."

Mikomi's eyes followed Miho's arrows as it arced and hit the target. "A splendid shot," the chuunin graciously praised before moving straight into the next jutsu, "Now, attempt a Power Shot. As it's name implies, chakra is exploded out the back end of the arrow to give it an extra boost that increases its speed."

Mikomi was about to explain the next technique. However, she stopped upon seeing the state that Miho was in. "You should take a break for the rest of the day. Eat, relax, and sleep. Straining your body too much is dangerous," was Mikomi's gentle advice. There was authority in her tone, but the authority was not stiff; it was clear that if Miho just asked to continue training, then Mikomi would not object.
