Tsunaimei felt the soft heartbeat coming from the wall. She tried to see if could somehow reveal what was behind to picture. She placed her hand on the heart and it seemed to be nothing but solid wall behind it. The holy knight tried to rub her hand against the heart to get a reaction. She knew something was behind it but a matter of how to get it open was alluding her wit. Tsunaimei recalled from the words on the wall that it was ill advised to make too much noise. Although the thought of blatantly disregarding the warning did cross her mind.

"Eeeeeeeeeeeek!!!" She screamed, moving away from the walls. "There's spikes now! On all the walls!" She couldn't help but edge near full fledge panic now.
" 'A-always old, s-sometimes new, never sad, s-sometimes blue. N-never empty, sometimes full, n-never pushes, always p-pulls' is my new riddle."
It was certainly water based. So far, the riddles had been. It couldn't be ocean or river. It was too direct of an answer. Was it a simple answer like last time? Or was it something a little harder?
A whirlpool? No, couldn't be. That was another too direct answer. She beat her head for a minute against her hand. She repeated it again. What else did an ocean have? Waves. Tides. The matched the pulling part and never pushed. But how could she tell if it was new? Or old? Or full? She felt as if the answer was on the tip of her tongue.
She could hear someone shout think of what causes them.

Tsunaimei paced about while pondering the what the solution could be. Giving up any idea of how to open the heart except for just using brute force, Tsunaimei readied her sword. "I hope this works. Lightning Stab!" She cried as a fierce bolt of electricity shot from her sword and straight towards the heart.

Maluc thought hard about the riddle, deciding he wouldn't let her know that the spikes were his fault. "Alright stay calm! Maybe you can use those spikes to climb and keep your head above the water! Um... the pull makes me think of waves... maybe the tides?! The always old sometimes new..... hmm... it points to a cycle I think!" He shouted back to her, the water already coming to her chin.
As Tsunaimei shot lightning at the heart nothing happened, the pulsing just seemed to become more powerful. But something seemed to pull at the sword from the heart as it was raised and pointed at the wall.

After the dust settled, Tsunaimei saw that the heart pulsed even more now than it did earlier. She also noted that her sword was pointing at the wall. "Humph." Tsunaimei said as she quickly darted forward and went to stab the heart.

"Th-that's it!" She cried as she flailed her arms to keep her chin above the water. "ITS THE MOON! Its never ever empty! Its old and there's a stage in it called 'new moon'! It always pulls and it can be blue! But I've never seen it blue really! And the new moon stage looks like a smile! It never frowns! Its gotta be the moooooon!"

As Tsunaimei stabbed her blade into the heart the picture on the wall faded to black and beating ceased. Almost in anger the wall seemed to throw Tsunaimei's sword out of the wall and at the same time the door opened. Just afterward another door could be heard opening down the hall. (5B)
As Alundra shouted 'the moon' the water stopped, the letters disappeared and the water quickly began to drain from the room. Once the room had been drained the door opened and a faint green glow began to appear from the large door at the end of the hall. (I'll have a pic ready of that soon) Soon after that another door opened in the hallway. (4B)
((Quick recap: You can now go in doors: 1B, 3A, 3B, 4A, 5B))

At first, Alundra thought she had lost, the water finally overcoming her and pulling her down. It took her a moment to realize that the water had drained and she wasn't drowning. She coughed and hacked for a moment before she slowly rose to her feet, wet and cold. She could hear a doorway open somewhere and hobbled out into the hallway. "Maluc? Tsunaimei? Are you guys alright?"

Maluc still stood still in his perch near the speaking tubes, hearing Alundra's voice come from a different tube he was relieved and puzzled since he didn't know where that tube led to. "I'm alright, still stuck in my room though. Where are you now?" Maluc asked, his voice coming from the ceiling in the center of the hall.

"I'm alright. I'm wet and c-c-cold! I'm outside in the hallway! Your door is not open?" Alundra asked puzzled as she gave the doorknob a tug to find indeed it was still locked. "It looks like some of the other doors are open! I'll see if there's a switch or something in one of them that will let you out!" She headed into one of the doors (3A).

Inside the room sees nothing but a chair and a hole in the wall about eight inches in diameter. Above it some letters hung in the air. "Give to me what you have always kept with you. What you have never lost, what you hope to keep. Risk giving that which you unknowingly treasure, and reap rewards near as great. Keep to yourself what I rightfully ask, then take from you I will."

"Oh no..." She muttered and glanced around to make sure there was nothing else in the room save the chair. Alundra shifted nervously before she decided to sit down in it. She repeated the question out loud and tapped her foot gently.

Tsunaimei looked back to find the door had opened. She felt the wall spit out her golden blade and stumbled a little from the forced momentum. Hearing Alundra's voice, the blue holy knight went into the hall. "Yes Alundra! I am unharmed!" She called out as she caught a glimpse of her friend going into yet another room. Tsunaimei cautiously walked forward and saw two more door open. After minutes of debate with herself, Tsunaimei decided to go into the door on her right (5B). Holding a firm grip on her sword, she walked in to see what game fate would have her play next.

The chair sat sideways against the wall, so that Alundra's shoulder was pressed against the hole. Other than that nothing new happened.
As Tsunaimei entered the door closed behind her just as it had for every room thus far. This room held a painting on the wall of battle. The war seemed vast and epic engulfing the entire world, on one side the sky bright behind an army of warriors clad in golden armor, led by a proud looking general clad in shining silver armor, a white glow shining around him. The other side the sky was black with smoke, the horizon burning with flames. Legions of undead in all it's forms heralded forward, fangs, and spears, and swords pressing onwards toward the ranks of gold shields. Their leader a sorceress, clad in barely anything but a robe torn to scraps and the blood of her fallen prey. A red glow in her eyes piercing through her pitch black hair, an aura of the purest black surrounding her figure. Among these two more prominent figures stood a third, a child dressed in brown and gray rags, his head hung low in sadness, he seemed only to want the fighting to cease as he held his arms up to stop both armies from meeting. Above the painting hung words wreathed in a bluish glow: "A fool that wields a power unseen, a hero who stands at the head of his machine, a peasant sits idle bleak in their guise, all involved here may meet their demise. Tell to the vision, who will fail the greatest. Who can't succeed and who's death will be cleanest."

Alundra tapped a finger her chin, repeating the riddle once more. What exactly did people treasure and hope to never lose? And always had with them?
Hope? Bravery? Courage? Heart?
