"Yeah... but I think she's going to yell at who she wants, no matter who calls dibs."
The mess hall was relatively abandoned. It wasn't meal time. Nyx headed with Jen back into the kitchen area for a brief cooking expedition.
"Lets make cookies!" Nyx opened the fridge to start grabbing some ingredients.

Jen simply grinned and followed Nyx into the kitchen. It was empty, lunch having been over a few hours ago. So they had the place to themselves for a while.
Grabbing an apron and throwing it over her uniform, Jen yanked off her gloves and stuffed them into her pockets. "How about some Pecha Cookies? That way everyone can enjoy them, eh?"

"I guess that sounds just as good as chocolate chips."
Nyx set down the eggs and butter and grabbed a big bowl. After her hands were free, she let her pokemon out of their pokeballs. Bunsen, Beaker, and Newton all clamored up onto the counter to watch what was going on. They were in the kitchen, so it was SOMETHING good.

"We could always mix them and see how they turn out?"
On the counter by her elbow, both Yamir and Aeon made gagging faces and gestures at the though of chocolate chip and Pech Berry cookies. Jen simply pushed them with her wrist.
"Oh hush, you two. You never know unless we try them." With that said, Jen grabbed a small handful of Pecha berries from a bowl pulled from the fridge and began chopping them.

The other three stared at the bowl and the amassing supplies. Something delicious was about to happen. Nyx gave Newton a look when he started to float over to the bowl with a crazed and dirty look in his eye. She swatted him away and he went slowly ballooning across the room.
Nyx finished gathering the rest of the supplies and mixing them together in the bowl.
"Keep an eye on Newton. He will try to mate with the cookie mix." Newton eyeballed the bowl and made lewd gestures as Nyx said this.
"He has some weird... thing... about sweets."

Yamir fluffed out his feathers and cooed at his bestest buddy. The humans were making things that were tasty! Oh yes indeed!
"Mate with the cookie mix? ......Ew...." Jen grimced at the idea before waving her knife at Newton. "Dont you dare, you pervert. I'm sure the rest dont want their cookies tasting like drifloon butt."

Newton sulked and reserved himself to simply staring at the bowl full of nummies.
Meanwhile, Nyx preheated the oven.
"Non-Drifloon Butt cookies are delicious. Maybe we should bring some to quell the Nadja-beast's rage."

Jen simply cast her a friend a look before going back to whisking the batter.
"Dude, I think we're in enough trouble as it is. I dont think we need Nadja to snap at us about cookies that taste like Newton." She giggled. "And Im sure newton isnt an edible pokemon."
Finishing the whisking, Jen tossed in the chunks of Pecha Berries that were waiting on the cutting board and finished mixing them in.

"Well... Newton-butt or no, I think maybe we should bring some of these when Nadja calls us back... It couldn't hurt. Well... it could if she doesn't like cookies. But since she seems more human than Seth." Nyx chuckled.
BEEP! Oven was ready. Nyx grabbed a cookie sheet and a spoon. Time for laying out the cookies!

As the oven beeped its completion, Jen placed the batter-covered whisk on the counter (free for any pokemon to grab) and carried the bowel to Nyx and the platter.
"I guess so. Like you said, it couldnt hurt." She shrugged and started to pour out the batter. "Personally, I like her a bit more than most of our other bosses here. At least she seems to be within the realm of reason."

Nyx grabbed the bowl before her friend could plop the heap of dough down on the sheet.
"Goofy." She took the spoon she had grabbed, scooped out some dough, and ate it. Mmm.... sweet... And those berry chunks would soften up after they cooked. After the test bite, she scooped out a chunk for Jen, Yamir, and Newton, then filled two cookie sheets full of dough balls.
"I've got an idea! Newton! Press your tassels down on the cookies!" Nyx grinned at Jen. There would be little heart shapes in the cookies! It'd be cute.
Newton finished nom'ing the bit of dough Nyx had given him and went to work putting a special touch on their cookies.
"Cookies take... what... twelve minutes to bake?"

"Humph!" Jen stuck her tounge out at Nyx and swiped the offered piece of dough. "We could have made a single, giant cookie...cake...thing!"
As Newton worked on his part in the baking, Jen nibbled on the dough while savoring the sweet mixture of Pecha berries and Chocolate Chips. Aeon and Yamir, too, were enjoying the taste with a great deal of delight.
"Um....I think so. Twelve to twenty minutes if I remember correctly." She licked her fingers and held out the battered whisk to Bunsen and Beaker.

"Maybe next time?" Nyx grabbed pieces for Bunsen and Beaker before sticking the cookies in the oven and setting the timer for fifteen minutes.
All of Nyx's pokemon gobbled up the cookie dough, and once the whisk was cleaned, Bunsen decided it was his new favorite toy. The little Eevee grabbed it away from Jen and pranced off to some corner of the kitchen to play.
The sound of clanking and the joyous "Vrrrrvrrrrreee" of the Eevee's play were heard. Nyx giggled and lifted herself up to sit on a counter and watch.

The timer dinged just as Nadja's voice came over the communicators, heralded by a crackle of static.
"You two. Report to my office."

Jen snickered a bit at the cuteness that was Bunsen and joined Nyx on another counter near the oven.
Her thoughts started to wander as they waited and her eyes turned towards the ceiling. Hopefully the situation they were in would turn out for the better.
"I hope Nadja has cooled down somewhat."
Thats when the voice of said person squawked out of her pokedex, causing Jen to jump and nearly take a face dump on the tiled floor. Dammit...she totally forgot about those radios.
"Alright. Shall we go?"
