Cael smiles, being lead along by his mane seeming somewhat strange considering he had known Chan when she was just a foal. But he was glad for the company, worrying over the others and feeling a little ashamed for being so useless. But he was here and if he could help he would, at least Chan was feeling better it seemed. Glancing at her and nodding. "Your servant my lady." Not sure what else to say, it had been a game they had played long ago, it had cheered her up then and seemed to do the same now, so he smiled, it seemed crying mares were something else he hated to see, what a softy he was... ---------------- Sonnet looked around as the skinwalkers retreated, seeing first one, then the other leave, still tense, not totally convinced that they have left till they were gone. Moving closer to the others unsure, the youngest there as he looked around, pretty much unscathed. His eyes going to Maion and his wound, wishing that he had any talent as a unicorn. Taking deep breaths trying to calm down, looking around again. He was expecting the skinwalkers to jump back out at them any moment, chances were he would be jumpy for a while. "Do you think they will be back?" Shaken and unsure, it was all there in his voice, after all Sonnet had never been any good at hiding things, but he had done what he could, this was Chan's family, her herd and even though there were ones he didn't know here he hoped he had helped. Ab flexes his shoulders, pinning the skinwalker stallion had taken a lot, but he moved up beside Maion once the coast seemed clear. "I never thought I'd be glad for my fathers bloodlines." Laughing it off as he looks round for his glasses, not sure where they had gone when he tossed them off. Wondering now it was over why he had gotten involved, after all this herd had no connection to him, but then it wasn't in his nature to leave others when help was needed. Though he would ache for a while after that, he hadn't gotten into a fight for a long time.

Maion couldn't help the cry of pain that escaped his lips as the strike from the catwalker ripped into his flesh. He could instantly feel the blood dribble down his rump and leg and as he turned to retalite he discovered he was not needed... the beast was leaving on his own accord, wounded both in pride and body. Yet as the words rang in his mind he knew they would be true, if Kimi was involved and had included another Maion was not fool enough to believe it would over. He knew all too well of the grudges held by Skinwalkers, he only hoped that they would have time to recover before the next assault.
He looked around the group, each one had stood up bravely by his side. Each had shown a courage he would never have asked of them, and none had moaned about it. Even his son Mal and Chandra's friend Sonnet, the youngest of the group had stood their ground, and thankfully the strength and protection in numbers had won through. He was so proud of them. All of them.
He nodded to each of them, turning to Mal for a moment to answer his question, "Yes they are gone," for now he continued in his mind. "They're gone," he repeated, exhaustion settling in on his tired old form. He turned to Sonnet next, shaking his head although he believed it to be a lie. Although Maion suspected the pair would not be back this day and would need time to lick their wounds their ego's wouldn't allow them to accept defeat.... so they would be back. And when they were.... Maion knew without a doubt that they would be ready!
It was then that Maion noticed Haya, Sengdroma's half brother. He nodded in welcome, appreaciating the support and love from the Miakoda's sister herd. "I think it would do no good old friend..... if I know Kimi, she will be licking her wounds for a while. She isn't stupid enough to not know when she is beat. The catwalker I can not speak for, though I suspect the same."
He sighed, feeling as if the weight of the world was on his shoulders, the worry and fear that he had pushed to the back of his mind during the fight came flooding back. He hoped Sengdroma and the group that had joined her were all, that they had made it to the Padmapani herd lands safetly and unharmed. His thoughts were only distracted when Abloec approached him, Maion couldn't help but smile a slight chuckle escaping his lips. "I think we are all pleased for your fathers bloodline this day, thank you for your help friend." He slapped the stallion on the shoulder with his wing tip, it mattered not to Maion that this stallion was not a direct member of the herd, by fighting for them he would forever be considered family and welcome in Maion's eyes.
Maion needed to see his mate, and so he spoke softly to the group. "Let us find our females. Heal. Rest. Eat. Be merry...." Put this all behind us, he added in his mind.
Sofiel watched intently as both of the skinwalkers left, he had a strange feeling that this would not be last time they saw of either beast but he agreed with his old friend.... they were done for the night.
He nodded in return to Maion's show of respect before walking towards him, his healing magic wasn't very good but he hoped it would stop the constant stream of blood coming from Maion's rump. Without a word he simply placed his horn on Maion's rump, closing his eyes to focus for a moment. Magic rippled through his body and escaped his horn in a golden stream as it wrapped like a snake around Maion's rear. The wounds didn't close all the way but they did stop bleeding and start to fold over.... an improvement if nothing else.
Haishan Fai sighed, his body aching and tender. Dried blood seemed to cling everywhere and he was unsure if it was all his own or not.
In silence he joined the group, thank ful that it was over. It had been a long time since he had fought, the muscles he had once used nearly daily were out of practise and now aching in a constant throb.
-----------------------------------
Chandra smiled at Cael, before chirping softly. "Thank you." She said softly, a blush covering her cheeks. She knew deep down that he was indulging her, but she was thankful for it. Her mind still lingered on thoughts of those fighting to keep her and the others safe. "Do you think they are all ok?" She found herself saying, her thoughts now lingering on one stallion in particular.... Sonnet. She missed him and hoped he was ok and unharmed.
Renesme continued to pant from her new spot on the ground, her belly wasn't yet overly swollen from the baby growing within her but she couldn't help but feel the need to rest... and maybe eat a mouthful or twol of blue flowers, she seemed to be craving them.
-----------------------------------
Kimi panted and raged as she ran to the relative safety of the forest and the land beyond it. She was injured and annoyed..... and she would take her rage out on the first thing stupid enough to cross her path.
She glanced over her shoulder for a moment. Her thoughts lingering on the bitter taste of defeat. "This is not over Maion..... not by a long shot." She would destroy him no matter what!

For Dixie....
Sengdroma smiled and lowered her head, she knew in her heart that everything would work out for the best soon..... she had to have faith in the brave souls who were willing to risk their life for her and her herd, her family. She would never forget their scarfice.
Io remained silent, her heart racing as a pray rang around her mind. Please be safe.... please everyone be safe.
-------------------------------
Scythe looks around the group before moving towards them, "I hope everyone is ok?" He asked before spying his son enter the scene, Haya may not be his by blood but in his heart it didn't matter. "Nice of you to join us Haya," he said, a smile upon his lips now that the threat lay behind them.
-------------------------------
Dardanos ran and ran, and before long he saw the tracks of Kimi..... he would teach her a lesson for embarassing him so. he was hungry.

(Yeah I know Ron is supposed to be next but as we are wrapping it all up I thought why not) Shaking his head Cael looked at Chan, shrugging off her thanks before looking up at the sky his expression thoughtful, still looking at the sky, his voice softer and a little deeper as he answered her question. "I don't see loss in your near future Chan, I think they will be fine." Dropping the game to give her a serious answer, his odd pail eyes returning to her, giving her a slightly mysterious smile. "It will be ok." ---------------- Smiling at Maions words Sonnet turned and went to find the item he had dropped. Picking it up and walking back over to the group of other stallions, thinking Chan must be with the others, he was eager to see her, though he had arrived after she left so this could get interesting. His ears flattening a little, not quite as eager to see her now as he imagined she would tell him off for jumping into such a fight with no training. Quirking a brow he glanced at Maion before tossing his glasses back on his nose and retrieving his blanket, tossing it back onto his back, it needed a wash but then it had otherwise survived... Much like him it seemed. Giving the black stallion a look and rolling his eyes. "Well I'll leave you to it then, this singleton is going to go home and have a bath." Though is words were jokey and his smile somewhat cheeky there was lonelyness to his words, Ab had been alone since he got here pretty much, no family and no mate, he had found joy in raising a daughter he had adopted but she was grown and finding her own mate now. But he wouldn't let it get to him, he couldn't, he would just feel even more lonely if he did.

Maion looked around at the ground, proud of everything they had done this day but hating the fact that they had had to do anything. He suspected he would have to hunt them down, at least Kimi and try once more to resolve the issue.... if worst came to worst he would have to discuss with Sengdroma about relocating, something that he would not do unless there was no other option. Still, in this moment he was proud, proud of the unity of his friends, family and herd. Proud of the strength they showed, for true strength was not knowing fear but being able to battle through it. Proud of how they all stood together, a united force against a deadly foe. Deep in his heart he hoped that no one would have to experience something like this again. -----------------------------
After talking to everyone.... I am going to declare this RP officially....
OVER - THE END
Thanks for taking part everyone! *huggles*
