Nova gave Kyr a nuzzle once he'd put the water down, giving her a swift lick he went to go see the baskets, he lay with them, his body only just managing to curl around them, thanks to his tail. He lay and took in the scents and sounds of their babies, looking up at Kyr "they're wonderful!"

She looked hungrily at the rabbit but made no move towards it not sure what Nova had planned. Her face beaming at Nova's exclamation and then moves to join her family. "Our family."

Nova smiled at Kyr "the rabbit is for you Kyr love, sorry it's so small" he curled his warm body around the baskets as much as he could and smiled "Our Family, that sounds lovely"

Kyr smiled. "Thank you." She quickly finished it off and was still hungry. "That was wonderful but if you don't mind I think I'll step out and get a bit more to eat." She gave him a quick nuzzle and headed out. The sun was just about to go down for the night when she emerged from the den. With a tired sigh she decided to go to the river, not only for food but a quick bath as well. The cool water felt wonderful and she took a slow swim only going after the fish half interested when something yellow caught her eye. Swimming closer she could see it was a basket!. Looking around she saw no tracks, and it was snagged in the reeds next to the river. After calling out a few times and getting no response, she forgot about the fish and tugged the basket out of the water and then carried it back to the den. It was a bit heavy but she didn't care, soon she dragged it into the back room. "Nova look! Poor thing was abandoned!" She gently nudged it over with the other baskets and curled around it. "There that should keep you nice and warm little one."
