Mmm, yeah, grilled portabella with goat cheese on top? Completely amazing.
There's a restaurant where I live that does all kinds of awesome burgers, from a couple veg ones to halibut burgers to thick, juicy bison.
Why'd you do a veg pledge, anyway?

My Spanish teacher and one of my classmates decided to do it, so I thought, why not? So far, I'm the only one who's kept it a hundred percent, too. XD

@Phantom: we were going to have venison last night (never had before) but the farm shop sold it frozen and it didn't defrost in time for dinner. sad
I've never tried moose... what's it like?
@Scraps: I love spicy bean burgers! I'm not a fan of fast food but if I'm in somewhere like burger king I'll order spicy bean burger.

Burger King has veggie burgers? Wow. That's a shocker. O_O
Now, as for grammar lessons... You guys seem to know your s**t. As for you three (two? Is Jujy still around?), the problem mostly seems to be with usage as opposed to grammar. So I think we need more people. Maybe if you guys could just put a link in your sig or something, we could get some more people to join. Would that be alright with you guys?

Since they're from Burger King, they're probably still wicked unhealthy somehow, but I'll check it out if I'm ever forced to eat at one. XD
Also, Ray_Murata has just joined our ranks. Yaay for people!

Indeedy. Fast food is disgusting. Also, I accidentally ate a wicked small piece of steak the other night while I was half-asleep, and I think it gave me stomach aches because now I'm so used to the veggie thing. XD
Hmm.... Echo... Echo... Echo... Echo... Echo... Echo...
Herro?

Yeah, that'll do it; your body gets unused to digesting the complex proteins. If you break it again, go for chicken or fish. While not as delicious as steak, it won't make you feel as sick.
And would anyone be interested in the stuff I get on additions to the AP stylebook?

The American Press stylebook, which is basically the big granddaddy of writing convention in the US, makes additions to itself fairly regularly, and I get email updates of it. It's mostly of writing conventions, like smart phone is officially two word and crowdsourcing is one, stuff like that.

I can honestly say I have never used those words or even heard them used, but I suppose it could be handy to know. biggrin
