Ariath rumbled quite happy with Tallith's proximity. Enelth flew better but that no longer matters. She woul dhav emuch rather Tallith to have wont he flight but what happened happened and she would just have to deal with the outcome with her rider.
Ephia was about t reply to L'cian when the 'voice' of Tallith filled her mind. She looked sharply from the brown to his rider. "Is that true? If it is you don't need to feel guilty. You had no control over the flight and what happened happened." She stepped towards. "Please don't do this to yourself on my account. I don't hold you responsible for a promise you had no control over to keep."
Ariath crooned as she watched the two before voicing her input to the two riders. She has missed you.
Ephia glanced to Ariath but couldn't help the blush that spread across her cheeks. She thought herself childish for such things to happen but sometimes emotions run rampant and she had no control over so matters.

Tallith crooned and looked rather smug, thinking himself rather intelligent to speak up when he had. His rider would never have said anything so why shouldn't he? There would be other flights, other chances and until then they'd just have to accept what had happened.
"But I promised to you that I'd make sure Enelth didn't win...I know I shouldn't have said that but I did...I couldn't even help move you into a more suitable position when you were within the mind of your Queen." He sighed, it seemed he was good at failing.
It was then that Ariath spoke and L'cian glanced at Ephia for a moment, noticing the slight blush on her face. "The feeling is mutual." He replied, "I won't deny that I've missed you too, it was your company that helped me lose my anti-social trait in the first place."
He smiled, "very well, I'll go with you to the gather. The work can wait."
Tallith's eyes whirled a brilliant blue-green, his happiness reflecting his rider's own.

"Thank you for trying to move me but once I was with Ariath there was little you could do to make me budge from where I was. Don't worry, M'xan was taken care of the next morning. You could say we parted with mutual feelings toward one another." She chuckled at the thought as the sound of her hand connecting with his face caused a grin to spread across her features.
Ariath smugly twitched the tip of her tail as the two revealed their feelings for one another. That was certainly a push in the right direction. Dragon rarely involved themselves in their riders connections with one another but sometimes the dragon just had to nudge them in the right direction.
"Good." She smiled warmly as he broke and decided to go. "We can spend the evening together. I have no intentions of spending more time than needed with M'xan. The last thing we need is to break into an argument while in public."

"It was the least I could do, that Queen of yours does know how to take everyone by surprise doesn't she." He laughed and listened to the rest of her words. "You know, I almost feel sorry for M'xan having to deal with the Weyrwoman's wrath."
He gave Ephia another amused smile and moved out towards his dragon. Luckily L'cian was dressed in reasonably smart clothes so that no more time had to be wasted. "That's an offer I can't refuse my lady." He gave her a slight bow of his head, mood obviously greatly improved.
"An argument will definately not be a good way to celebrate the new Turn that's for sure. I'll just have to stick by your side and keep you out of trouble." He teased lightly, his words overlapped by Tallith's gentle crooning.
The brown shifted once more, turning to brush the stub of his snout against the golden's neck in a gesture of affection.

Fellis chirped to exchnge news with Kumai as Kyira's eyes lit up in greeting. "Talare! Thanks! Good to see you! Will you be perfoming later?"
She refered of course to the other's rank of Journeywoman Harper. Rias however was blessed by having a rather good amount of Harpers, compared to other places. Kyira wondered if they would trade out as Harpers often did at the Fort Gathers.
Spying a weyrling with a tray of meatrolls Fellis impressed her hunger upon the young woman. With a surpressed giggle Kyira motioned the lad over with one hand while fumbling in her pouch for the right marks. Indicating an open table she traded marks for the food, giving him a peck on the cheek. Easy to to being about the youth's height herself. "Your green's younger than mine and I'd guess hungry too, and this is no day to be gorging them on raw meat. Come, share with us."
With polished ease she invited the harper to take a seat, her childhood training as a lady slipping through.

Laden with two large trays full of meatrolls, Shazi weaved her way through the Gather crowd towards the main food tables. Around her, riders and weyrfolk swirled in their gather best, and the messenger turned drudge had to bite back a small tinge of jealousy, herself wearing only a simple cream dress, a leather belt fastened with a buckle she had made herself, and her well worn leather boots. With a small sigh she turned her thoughts back to her work, suddenly aware that after this, the Cook had said she could enjoy the gather as well.
With new life in her steps, she finally reached her destination and manuvered her trays in front of her, patiently waiting for the two women in front of her to fill their plates.

Not one for large crowds, K'rel had absolutely no intention of attending the festivities. True, he was not in his weyr--Siventh had seen to that--but the Weyr was full of quiet places where he could hide, even given the time of year. The stables, for example.
"Happy Turnover, 'Rina." The Brownrider sighed, leaning over the stall door to watch his little mare. Arina graced him with a nickered hello, but didn't move from her position in the corner of the stall. Walking was difficult, swollen as she was. Let the rider come to her.
And K'rel did, setting his procured glass of wine out of harm's way, then sliding open the bolt and slipping within the stall. Stepping over to the little mare, he rested a hand lightly on her neck, the other playing thoughtfully over her back as he took in her swollen stomach. Finally cracking a smile, he turned and draped an arm over her neck, giving her a lopsided hug. "Any day now, eh Rina?"
Though Kaon was still down at the Hold's stables, K'rel had moved Arina up to the Weyr as her pregnancy grew to a close. Now, with the foal due at any moment, it was only right that he came to check on her...constantly. Right?
You are not a Dragonrider.
K'rel's face darkened. Stepping away from the mare, he muttered a 'shut up, Siv' and headed from the stall to find a meal for the little runner.
T'bell is not attending the festivities either.
"Shut UP, Siventh." His shout provoked a nervous snort from the mare, and K'rel immediately turned back to the stall to calm her.
The brown dragon was quiet.

Rinfala laughed and eyed the trays, her gaze drawn to some cheeses from Keroon. "Yes, score!" she said, putting some on her plate with a grin. "Nothing like a taste of home to get the spirits up, eh?" Turning back to the tables, she selected a few more delicacies before, stepping aside, noticing one of the drudges behind them. "Well hello there," she said cheerfully. "Enjoying the day?"

Nevaeh too searched the trays and quickly found a tray of fried fish that were native to Southern Boll Hold. "I hear ya there Rin. Nothing could beat the Southern Boll Hold's fish. My father always came home with the really good fish from his secret fishing spot. Oh those were the times." Nevaeh rambled and then turned her head as Rin spoke to someone behind her. "Oh! Do you need some help there?" Nevaeh asked setting her plate down in an empty place and offered her own hands in help.

Smiling in relief when the two women turned out to be friendly, Shazi quietly shook her head at the offer of help and placed the trays down herself. Straightening, she brushed a stray wisp of golden hair behind her ear and smiled at the two warmly. "Many thanks m'ladies." she said, inclining her head, smile brightening more as she turned towards Rinfala. "And yes, I am enjoying the day, how can one not enjoy the Turnover Gather?"

Talare chuckled softly and gave a soft shrug, her blue eyes glancing around the room. "I should gladly play for the Gather, But it seems many a harper has shown up. So we'll see what happens. Never too many harpers" her fingers brushed against her pipes and a sudden longing to play them rose inside of her. Biting her bottom lip she suddenly laughed. "You know, its been awhile since ive had time to play.. Can you imagine that...a harper not finding the time to play." She giggled and shook her head taking a seat in the spot indicated to her by Kyira.
A smile washed over her face, only to be replaced with a wince as Kumai nudged her, impressed her gnawing hunger and the indignate fact she hadnt be proporly fed yet. With a Soft grown Talare grabbed up a meat roll and passed it on to her hungery little green. "Do they stay this hungery?" she asked with a laugh.

P'las strolled through the festivities, his muddy green eyes falling upon the sight of Nevaeh, Rinfala, and another girl he'd yet to meet all together. The man drew closer, putting an arm about the two dragonrider's shoulders. "Happy Turnover, dear ladies. Should I have the honor of joining such lovely women for the celebration?"

Nevaeh smiled at the girl and nodded. "Eh. Of course." She said looking over at Rinfala as the girl spoke to her. An arm around her shoulder then caused Nevaeh to look up in suprise to see P'las. "Oh hello P'las. A Happy Turnover to you dear bronze rider. And I don't mind you joining us. The more the merrier!" Nevaeh said smiling brightly.

Eyes widening slightly, Shazi straightened and inclined her head respectfully when the dragonrider who came up was identified as a bronze rider. "Happy Turnover M'lord." she said softly, pale honey brown eyes downcast, half wondering if this rider would be like the other bronzerider she had met.

Finishing feeding the flit, plus having finaly removed the little green from the cup to place her back on his shoulder, Kahlin glanced around before walking slowly back into the crowd. He might as well try to find someone to talk to. R'ael was busy and he should met someone else. He glanced around nevously.
