Name: Brìghde
Stage: Adult
Gender: Female
Species: Lion ( New Lines )
Parents: N/A
Offspring: N/A
Description:
Reference Image(s), if applicable: Colourist choice. Heartache, but the flame of hope resides deep within.
Tell me about this SoA!: She is based heavily upon myself. Since earlier this year, my relationship with the most wonderful guy ever, ended. This has left me very heartbroken and tearful. I do not eat much, and my sleeping hours are.. abnormal to say the least. He is in my dreams, and on my mind when awake, just as he always was.

We knew each other from Middle School, so we were close.
Unfortunately, both our first romances were horrible and left us scarred.

Later on, we eventually started dating. And it was wonderful. He exposed me to a lot of things that I never thought I'd enjoy. We'd go hiking. I loved it. Eating wildberries together. I went junkyard hopping with him, and I had fun. Went to a Car Swapmeet/Show, and had fun. I even saw a car that I absolutly love, and will own some day. Took me to a Gun/Knife show, and I had fun there too. He bought me a knife to use, should I ever need to protect myself when he wasn't there. We became each other's incentive to improve ourselves. We planned swimming, to lose weight. He became my incentive to further my art, and to cook.

One of the things he said to me was, that one of the things that he loved about my was that I would actually listen to what he was saying, and didn't blow him off. That I was willing to actually learn things. He also said that, if he could've afforded it, he woulda built a car with me, teaching me how to do that sort of stuff along the way.

We didn't have to be doing anything special, and simply enjoyed the other's presence. He never forced me to do anything, and treated me wonderfully.
I loved him with all my heart, and still do.

He broke up with me, saying he wasn't good for me.
He still loves me, and misses being with me. I love him, and I miss him terribly.

In this situation, I do not feel that this is hopeless. Deep down, I know .. something.

As my friend Shaun put it:

" Well, clearly, the love is there and you both care for each other a lot. There is really no reason that whatever problems you guys have, cannot be worked through. But then, I'm one of those optimists that believes in love. If he thinks he isn't good for you, show him that he is.

Whatever confidence he doesn't have in himself will be be supplemented tenfold by you (and with hope, he will reciprocate that feeling) it's just a matter of working with each other to figure out and solve that problem, whatever that may be. You work through it.

You both just have to see it through; anxiety is a lot like being stuck in the house during a particularly violent storm, if you bear it, and don't give up, there will be clearer days. "

[ If you need further experiances of mine to help your imagination, feel free to PM. ]

Name: Ng'aa (sparkle/shine/glitter/gleam)
Stage: Adult
Gender: Male
Species: Lion (don't care what lines!)
Parents: -
Offspring: -
Description: white or black base, i'd suspect (i'd probably prefer white, but if you can do amazingly in black do it). i'd like the mane to be either a dawn (pink/salmon-orange/gold-yellow/lightyellow), aqua (blue-cyan-lime-green ish), or icy (blue-cyan-verylightcyan) fade, and the tail to either be one of the other two or the same as the one picked. OR rainbow if you want to (or maybe black or white with streaks of the aforementioned gradients/rainbow?)! 8D shiny golden arrow markings anywhere/somewhere on body, can be one or a hundred. rainbow, white, or amazingly clear, bright blue eyes. basically a cc kiddo from the god of distractions~ (i only really care that there is at least one shiny gold arrow on him, and the specification of eye color(s); rest are possible suggestions)
Reference Image(s), if applicable: DADDY!
Tell me about this SoA!: Like his father, he's quite... lost and easily forgets about things. His head's always in the clouds, and he doesn't pay attention to ANYTHING really. Possibly one of the most naively blissful and ignorant lions to ever roam the savannah, but it's not his fault! He's especially attracted by shinies. It's like catnip to him.

Needless to say, Ng'aa is the product of something very unlikely gone right. At least he can see the past, present, and future. Not that he can tell any of those apart...

Also, he was named after a yawn. Dad forgot to name him after that yawn, so might as well use the yawn as a deeper translation.

Name: TBD
Stage: Adult
Gender: Male
Species: Hyena
Parents: -
Offspring: -
Description: see ref; supposed to be like a striped hyena. black eyes, very dull dark red-sort of mane/tail. streaks of white / tipped at end of mane/tail.
Reference Image(s), if applicable: ref (stripes/markings can be different - look at striped hyenas), striped hyenas
Tell me about this SoA!: nothing, he's just a really old concept i doodled a couple years ago ahaha. striped hyena love ;_;
Low luck?: i've possibly tried for him once, a while ago

Name: TBD
Stage: Adult
Gender: Female
Species: Wild dog (old old lines if possible)
Parents: -
Offspring: -
Description: red eyes, darker natural colors or black/white palette (possibly tinted/toned like a blue roan) are the only criteria. if white is used, it shouldn't make up more than 25% of the body. some type of natural patterning/coat is preferred as well, but doesn't matter.
Reference Image(s), if applicable: Nkosi (possible mate for this custom)
Tell me about this SoA!: I intend on starting a pack with essentially one of my first and favorite SoA, Nkosi. He basically comes from an old wild dog pack that sent him off, being the only heir of the king and queen, before they vanished/went through something that pretty much killed everyone! The pack strongly (VERY strongly, like strictly) reinforces and values strength in all aspects-body, mind, etc. and is kind of elitist to those who don't exhibit those qualities. Some cultural beliefs in color indicating strength or lackthereof are going to be shared by Nkosi, which includes the belief that generally, red eyes and darker/natural coloration = best combo (red eyes because of heritage, darker and natural coloration for survival).

While I've been looking for a mate for Nkosi, I'm not sure if my pickiness will allow me to do that anytime soon. So, this is for a POTENTIAL mate for Nkosi, as I haven't completely ruled out the possibility of that from scouting in the plots subforum. Should this custom not turn out to be his mate, she'll be something high ranking in the pack.
Low luck?: -

Name: Tangaa (become widely known) - may possibly change name
Stage: Adult
Gender: Male
Species: Lion (new lines)
Parents: -
Offspring: -
Description: the base coloring should be half white, half black-whatever way that is executed however is up to you. black mane, white tail - possible few streaks in em if you'd like. as for the markings, i'd love the gradients in butaa! or a more aqua colored theme, or icy, or blue-green? something involving blue anyways. would love glow if it looked good - patterning should be similar to Butaa's - some TYPE of stripes definitely (except barred, symmetrical and streamlined), possible spots (and any type of spots - leopard, jaguar, normal round ones), and anywhere you'd like, but most definitely on the face. i'd like to keep the white marking seen on butaa's shoulder also - either on the same place, or the back leg.
Reference Image(s), if applicable: Butaa (brother) - uncert
Tell me about this SoA!: Tangaa is the latter fraternal twin to Butaa. He was born to a family that wasn't quite expecting him, thinking they were only pregnant with one cub. In addition to the surprise arrival, Tangaa's coming into the world was rather difficult and harsh - opposite of the smooth delivery of Butaa. Despite the rough-and-tumble delivery, the parents cared for the two boys with as much affection as they could, though they weren't prepared for it.

An earthquake separated the family by bringing the parents' untimely demise. As well, Butaa and Tangaa, at their early age, lost each other in the chaos. While Butaa was able to find and secure himself a happy and content upbringing, Tangaa was put in a much more unpleasant and crude environment. Though Tangaa retains the good morals instilled from what he could remember of his parents, he has grown a bit unstable from the harsh times experienced in his childhood. While Butaa pursued his interest in learning about water, herbs, and their healing and cleansing properties, Tangaa never was one to look after his health or immaculateness in keeping himself together in general. Not sure whether he and Butaa will ever meet again, if Tangaa is made, but if he is, I'd play around with the balancing nature of the brothers, and perhaps in the future their welfare would reach an equilibrium; vague plans!

Name: Koyemsi
Stage: Adult
Gender: Male
Species: Lion (new rogue lines please)
Parents: ? x ?
Offspring: --
Description: White, with some fanciful pale or light blue tattoos or markings on his left leg (from just above the toes to his shoulder). His mane and tail should be a darker shade of blue than his markings. Oh, and baby pink eyes and nose. You can add some other markings or designs and stuff if you feel like it'd make him look better~
Reference Image(s), if applicable: --
Tell me about this SoA!: He's a comical sort with a particular talent for impersonations. His love for laughter and utter lack of a serious attitude (much to his father's chagrin, for his father was a no-nonsense type of guy, and a warrior to boot) earned him the job as an entertainer for the king. Or otherwise, the king's jester, and he made a glorious time of it. Cracking jokes, playing pranks on members of the audience, telling riddles from time to time. He would go as far as he needed in order to get a laugh from the king (laughter from the crowd was just an added bonus to him), even if it meant laughter at his own expense. Unfortunately for him, the king that followed didn't have the same sense of humor. Or any, for that matter, and when his old king (as he never considered the new king his king) passed and the new one was officially crowned, Ko found that he was out of a job. His father forced the funny out of him for a time, and he worked under his father's command as a soldier. His love for laughter had never truly gone though, and when he couldn't stand it anymore he finally left the only home he'd ever known. 'Good riddance' was the only thought that crossed his mind as he wandered aimlessly into the roguelands, ever smiling. Eternally grateful to his old king, for he believed without him he would never have realized his calling, he wanders in search of any who feel they need a bit of cheering up, as he believes that laughter can, without fail, lighten any and all burdens.
Low luck?: Nope.

Name: Tarik
Stage: Adult
Gender: Male
Species: Lion (new rogue lines please)
Parents: ? x ?
Offspring: --
Description: The mortal form of my ice god, Tarik. I'd still like for him to be blue and white, but the overall design is up to the colorist~ Ahh, but no wing markings please. :3
Reference Image(s), if applicable: Tarik
Tell me about this SoA!: Tarik's generally unpleasant, though not impossible to be around. He's only tolerant of those that he likes, otherwise his patience varies depending on who he runs into. In any case, unless he's resting, he'll try to avoid running into other mortals anyway.
Low luck?: Nope.

Tell me about this SoA!:
A carefree and youthful lion who travels about in seeking company and adventure, being around those who are likely to get into adventures he travels with. Due to some differences, he ends up leaving them to head back to his home upon the shorelines. It was during one of these trips back home that he runs into a young maned wolf who is troubled but is easily enticed into playing with him. The two spend a memorable day together until the young pup had to return to his father. D'resh offers to escort him. Upon meeting the father, he soon learns that the lion is easily angered, guilt-ridden, and his duties as a father slowly declines. The pup and D'resh come up with the idea to do activities to return the father to normalcy. D'resh soon learns why the father had been acting the way he was and feels that he did well to return the lion to the way it was the maned wolf pup remembered. It was until that he encountered a lion who looked much like himself. A fight ensues where blood and bodies fell with each blow. D'resh quickly realizes that returning the pup's father to normal may not have been the best idea, he is not able to fight with anger and strength he held before. The father had acted against his normal behavior to fight this lion and back to his normal behavior, he stood no chance and yet fought still. D'resh has to make a choice of stopping the fight or taking the pup away from a conclusion that could utterly scar him for life.

God:
As a god, D'resh refers to other gods as his brethren, trusting that they've all come from Mkodi in the beginning and, in many ways, still part of her. He disguises himself as a mortal for Kiegan's sake who shows no signs of recognizing him. He feels that it becomes his duty to the young pup to return his father to the lion he remembers to lead a normal life. Not exactly the adventure he wanted for himself, but it soon turns to one he wish he never joined. After recognizing a member of the opposing group as a god and the sight of the other leads Kiegan to assault the lion whom resembles him. D'resh is a god of powerful offense and powerful defense but lacked the motivation to become offensive. He can easily stop the battling males but it would mean crippling them both. The fight escalates to a point where only murder is the only conclusion. D'resh is horrored to see his brethren fighting against a mortal and losing with the god's son standing nearby. The God of Sand must either crushed the two titans or rescue the pup from a life scarring scene.
Low luck?: No

Name: Nixilus
Stage: Adult
Gender: Male
Species: Lion (New lines)
Parents: - x-
Offspring: N/A
Description: Gloomy, Sulking, Cowardice, Cowering, Hiding
All his colors derive from Samir, mostly, you can do what you feel is best. A off-black-green base body with inky black mane. Translucent blue eyes.
Reference 1
Reference 2
Samir'Luti - Her shades of green from the darkness of black all over.
Tell me about this SoA!:
An event from his past keeps Nixilus within a den that is not easily accessible, hiding. Fears rid constantly of what occurred and if those who survived to return for revenge. Hiding himself during the day, he leaves his den at night to hunt and feed until he encounters a rogue who assaults him with no remorse or reason until he could not move where the rogue leaves him to crawl back to his den. The fears grow greater now that a rogue had found him, beaten him, and now had a straight path back to him made of blood from the prior night. However, he had to eat, he had to survive. Cautious he leaves his den after painful growls of the stomach. It became another night of the very male who had beaten him before. Nights after night, the rogue returned and lurked the territory for him to come out of hiding. It was when Nixilus begged for his life. The rogue only snarled and grabbed onto his neck, dragging him away from his den.

Under the rogue's servitude, the two traveled and Nixilus was made to hunt and disappear when told. However, when the rogue attempted to do anything, most of them ended in failure. When the two encountered a traveling trio with a lion who resembled his 'master' among them. The rogue grew furious. A fight erupts that quickly becomes a fight to the death and Nixilus can do nothing but watch as the fight quickly resembles the event from many moons before that birthed the fear within him. His grip on reality slowly loosens as the events play out before him.

God:
When Nixilus hides himself, he removes most of the resemblances of the God of Misfortune. When Tegan, the rogue, takes dominance over him, he continues to hide to prevent further harm to come to him and to hide from many eyes that may recognize him. It was when D'resh, God of Sand, identifies him as his brethren. While Tegan blames Nixilus for the failures of the past, he is blind sighted by Kiegan. The two fight to the death and Nixilus slowly looses his grip on reality. His control over his powers diminish leading back to the events of the past. As the fight escalates, his powers grow out of control, only contained by the mask he wears as he watches the two fight. The events of the past are coming into sequences and the fear that was birthed then was going to have a second cycle.
Low luck?: No

These two are in a plot idea where Kiegan after having been killed by his mortal half, Tegan, seeks revenge and rescue of his son.Tegan is the mortal manifestation of Kiegan's intolerance, anger, strength, and passion and much of his primal instinct. Tegan is to travel to various places, prides, and meeting others where he will scare the area and spread a bad reputation. While Kiegan trails after him, he is met with a lot of hostility without knowing why. Unknown to Tegan, he is following a path of Kiegan during one of his life cycles when he was scattering special feathers that connected to him. With four of five feathers within safe paws, it seems Tegan will stumble upon the fifth to summon Kiegan. However, Tegan abandons the maned wolf son whom Kiegan seeks to retrieve at one of the locations but the aspects he had lost when Tegan was brought into existence had already redeveloped. He became sour, angered, seeking revenge upon this impostor. It is here that D'resh enters on his path to return him to normal. When doing so, Kiegan tells D'resh much of his life and the latter tries to dissuade him from seeking this mortal now that he had his son again. Still, Kiegan holds resentment for the lion who murdered him and taken his son.

The fight ends with one of them "dead". Much later, the group, Kiegan, Nixilus, D'resh, Tegan, and the maned wolf pup travel together for a time before having to split up. This is the start of Tegan's story and how he must become different, how he must lose all resemblance to his immortal half in the god-realm and he is going to do so by using Nixilus. (( Essentially, he has a list of "to-do" for Gods, how much of it gets done doesn't matter. But its his story to play out. :3 ))

Name: Angavu'Naledi
Stage: (Cub/Juvenile/Adolescent/Adult) Adult
Gender: Female
Species: Lion - Old Lines
Parents: -x-
Offspring: n/a
Description: Naledi's base would be the violet/magenta that covers most of the stone with the hints of blue violet and bright cobalt blue laced/ faded in places here and there across her body. Her skin should appear to catch the light or have a shine like the surface of the stone. Her extremities are extremely dark purple, namely the last 1/3 to 2/3s of her tail and the lower portions of her legs. (Her feet up to around her knees and elbows.) There should be black or very dark purple thin stripes around her. Her chest area is the gold/yellow color and she should have the look like she is glowing with an inner light. Her eyes also should be bright yellow gold, similar to the yellow of her body.
That description was copied from an old journal (From Sandpaints, hence skin in lieu of fur), just to give you a feel of what I was thinking. Feel free to design how you see fit. Think as if the stone of that necklace came to life in lion form. Pretty. <3

Color inspiration
Tell me about this SoA!:
Naledi is a wandering soul, having neither pride nor family to turn to. She got separated from her family in time of a tragedy.
Her pride had been a simple, relatively small collection of lions living in the mineral and ore rich mountains. They honored and worshiped the earth and the various bounties that it provided, from the food they ate, to the water their drank, to the trees that gave them shade. Everything was worth honoring and everything had to be kept in balance. They didn't value material possessions. Real wealth could be found in each other. The members of the pride hunted only for what they needed and saved or shared that which they didn't finish. A main part of the territory in which they lived was a vast cave system. Inside, there could be found all manner of stones, ranging from crystals to gems, to simple rock. All were valued the same by the pride. Each member, upon finishing their lessons to what it truly meant to respect all around them, lessons preparing them for adult life, and developing close bonds with those their age, would be sent alone into the dark, winding system to find a stone that resonated with them. The pride had a belief that when something is truly meant to be, one can hear a resonating hum within their hearts and minds when what their soul needs is found. If one could ignore the beckons and temptations of the world, and listen to when their heart called to them truly, then they were ready to face the harsh realities of the world at large, outside of their quiet eden. Each individuals reasons to their choices of stone were their own. Some choose for the stone's smoothness, the shine, the shape, the texture, or color. When they emerged, they were welcome as fully functioning members of the pride.

One particular summer, several litters were born into the pride and the elders were mystified that of those litters, there were three cubs, completely unrelated to each other, born with coats resembling some of the stones within their caves. Naledi, the only cub born to her mother, was one of the three. It was interpreted as a sign of coming prosperity and happiness for the pride as a whole. What had been interpreted and what happened were different stories all together.

Word of the natural riches within the labyrinthine caves got out and a larger pride, eager to take control of a territory with such a fine cache of natural treasures, attacked the peaceful lions. Whole families were killed. Several of the pride's teens and cubs managed to break away from the skirmish, while the adults tried to fight back the invaders. Soon, they too were chased by a few large lions. The teens told the cubs to keep running while they bought them some time. Naledi and the handful of other cubs ran until their muscles burned before hiding in a dense cluster of trees. There they stayed until hunger and worry drove them out. Some opted to just go off together to try and make their own ways in the world, others decided to sneak back and see if anyone had made it. Naledi was one of those who wanted to see what became of their family and home. The worst of the world awaited their young gaze, family members and friends lying dead where they had been felled, strangers destroying their stone and earthen drawings, and removing all traces of what had been their home, making it their own. The youngsters went off, remaining in small groups for comfort and safety. What she had seen changed the once bright, happy Naledi. She rarely spoke, and only in short, to the point statements in her soft voice.

They barely managed to survive, catching little prey items and scavenging until they improved their own skills sufficiently to hunt on their own. As they grew into adolescence, the last remaining survivors went their separate ways, either wanting to pursue lives as rouges or among other prides. Naledi kept the teachings of her parents and grandparents in her heart, listening to the humming and beckoning temptations of the world. The young lioness felt no draw to other prides and longed for the ways of her earliest days.

In spite of the hardships she has seen and lived through, she is rather the mothering sort, especially to younger, smaller, helpless souls, no matter the species. Her eyes hold a searching, longing sadness, but there is some hope in her heart. There is always a new beginning just on the horizon. Her time alone has brought on some loneliness which has recently brought her to search out the company of others. Naledi's social skills are limited however. Her experience was with those whom she was born with and bonded with through tragedy. When they were gone, she was truly, totally alone. Since the invasion, she's been hesitant of being approached by strangers, but want for company brings her to seek out that which makes her nervous, the company of strangers. The lioness would try to be accommodating, but those who wish to get to know her must be patient. She can come off as delicate in her demeanor, but the time spent learning how to live on her own and the time with the other young survivors has given her a subtle strength of body that she doesn't even realize she possesses. (So, if she were to get worked up or excited about something and accidentally bumped, jump upon, etc. it may hurt someone who isn't expecting it. She'd practically die if she ever accidentally hurt someone younger or smaller and would promptly revert into 'mommy mode', checking to see if they're okay, if there is anything she could do to make it better, what have you.)

Name: Alophiidae
Stage: Adult
Gender: Male
Species: Lion (new lines)
Parents: Agkelos x ???
Offspring: n/a
Description: See Ref
Reference Image(s), if applicable: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v11/TheMadHatter/pets/Alophiidaefull.png

Tell me about this SoA!: Alophiidae is not a nice lion. He enjoys fighting and in many ways enjoys killing when he's able to. The fuse on his temper is short enough to be almost microscopic and he snaps (generally with actual teeth involved) at others for any disturbance. He spends most of his time alone as his pridemates do not want to risk having teeth sunk into them for saying hello. He is very much a bite-first-ask-questions-later type.

Alophiidae is the son of Agkelos, Warlord of the Majira'Mungo, and the one responsible for the scar and loss of sight in his father's left eye. Believing his father is far too old (even though Agkelos is still in his prime) to keep the position of Warlord Alophiidae challenged and attacked his father for the position. While Agkelos lost the use of one eye he subdued his son and retained his position. Believing that the drive to better himself is something he should nurture in his son Agkelos did not kill his son or banish him from the pride. Alophidae resented his father for this believing that he failed in his bid and should have suffered worse than what amounted to a slap on the wrist.

Alophaiidae returned to his duties as a warrior but kept the animosity toward his father seething in him. He still refuses to believe that Agkelos is fit for the position and plans to challenge his father again when the Theljui clan takes over the rule of the Pride again.

Name: Chamchela
Stage: Adult
Gender: Female
Species: Lioness (New lines? Or Old lines, whichever looks better!)
Parents: Kweupe x Kiva
Offspring: - (Too many to list!)
Description: Elly has a natural coloring, I think I'd like to keep that, however, her wing coloring might look good on her body somewhere, I'm just not certain where.
Reference Image(s), if applicable: Full -- Cert
Tell me about this SoA!: Elly has always had a whole lot of bite. She's sarcastic, prideful, egotistical, and violent. Very, very violent. She and her mate had an actual contest just to see who could kill the most, collecting skulls for prizes as proof. Morbid... yes, but completely like them. She's a borderline sociopath, a temperamental and fickle goddess with wavering/warring views of her own morality, depending on her mood and her whims.

Because she and her siblings were raised between a goddess and a mortal (Their step-father) she was painfully aware of the truth of the matter. Her domain already gave her a wild attitude, but her hurt and resentment towards their biological father made her rebellious as well. She swore never to become tied to mortals like her mother had, but in spite of this most of her time was spent with them, from youth until adolescence. The one noteworthy immortal that was a constant part of her life was Mrost, the god of war and her tutor in the ways of her powers. There wasn't much she wouldn't do for her mentor, definitely having a bit of hero worship there. When she unknowingly met his nephew, a mortal former royal from the Pridelands, she definitely met her match made in heaven the male she would want to spend the rest of her life tormenting.

All of these things makes Elly one of my favorite characters. With her mate, Ahai, the two of them are in constant competition with one another, anything from regarding how many males or females their next litter will have to whose stronger than who.

Name: Nema
Stage: Adult
Gender: Female
Species: Lioness [[ Rogue lines please? ]]
Parents: -
Offspring: -
Description: Nema has a very pale silver body, with both blue and orange stripes along her front and rear legs, she has 'hershey kiss' markings on her rump and she has an orange tail with wavey blues. See Refs.
Reference Image(s), if applicable: Color Scheme, Nema 1, Nema 2, Nema 3
Tell me about this SoA!:

From a personal standpoint:

A few of Nema's markings hold small hints at my life, though they really wouldn't make sense to anyone unless they're being told. Nema's front legs hold 4 orange stripes each - Each stripe represents a Girl from my family, My Mother, Myself, My Sister, and My Step-Sister. Nema's rear legs each hold 2 small blue stripes - These stripes represent the 2 men of my family - My Step-Father, and My younger Brother. The colors are supposed to be slightly representative, the orange would be the only color the girls in the family can agree to love, and the pale blue, is the boy's favorite color. Nema also has 3 small 'kisses' on her rump, sort of like a My Little Pony, these 3 little kisses represent myself [ Orange ] My Boyfriend, and My Godson [Blue], the little dots circling them sort of represent an expansion of our lives. Nema's other markings don't have sentimental reasoning though =[

From a Story standpoint:

Nema is a very headstrong, and naive. She feels that whatever she chooses to do is always the right choice, and that anyone who finds an easier way of doing things, is just trying to kill her mood. Naturally her stubbornness has led to quite a few mishaps for the lioness, and will inevitably lead to more in the future. One would hope that the lioness would find a pride and settle down from her headstrong behavior, but from the bleak look at her past, things aren't looking up at the moment.

As far as Nema's naive nature goes, she's extremely prone to falling for even the easiest tricks in the book, and refuses due to her headstrong nature, to think twice before falling for such tricks. In the future this will obviously lead to quite a few heartaches, and the possibility of a litter of cubs, though the future is uncertain the heartbreak is guaranteed. Nema is the type of girl that would actually fall for the line 'The world is going to end if we don't mate right now!'

Name: Diehr
Stage: Adult
Gender: Male
Species: Lion (New lines)
Parents: N/A
Offspring: N/A
Description: The colorists choice on this one. I am happy to let you have free reign. Maybe something dark and sinnister or night themed. however something viberate and bright with glowyness might be funny as an offset to his personality.
Reference Images: None
Tell me about this SoA!: Diehr is not an overly large lion but what he lacks in brawn he makes up for with wit and cunning. He is quite litterally crazy. Often times he can be seen alone, if only for the reason that on a whim he is likely to kill his new found companion simply for the feel of the blood against his fur or to collect a bone or tooth for his collection. He has a silver tongue and can make himself appear normal, if not even suave to draw himself closer to others aroud him when the need or mood strikes him. Thats not to say he kills everyone he crosses, quite the contrary, he has made life long bonds with others in passing and can use his cunning and wit to influance others.

He is to be used in a plot with the Chaka'jua pride in the future to help with its establishment.

Name: Matumaini (means "Hopeful" in Swahili)
Stage: Adult
Gender: Male
Species: Lion (New lines)
Parents: N/A
Offspring: N/A
Description: Matu's base color is black, with slightly luminescent designs flowing across his coat. These consist of three colors: a light blue, light green, and light pinkish-purple. His mane and tail tuft are completely blue, while his eyes are green.
I have a general reference for him, though the colors are a little dull. I have provided a palette with brighter colors, though you can saturate or de-saturate them more to your liking.
Reference Images: [pre-existing pet], [color palette]
Tell me about this SoA!: Matu grew up in a small but proud pride, his father being the king of the little band of lions. His father was always a proud, stern being, and pushed Matu to become the best he could (as he expected Matu to take his place some day!). Matu did his best as a young cub, striving to make his father proud. But he soon discovered that he was not meant for strength and valor--in fact, the very sight of blood makes him feel woozy, and talk of politics only serves to give him migraines. It didn't help when he caught a strange, foreign sickness that caused him to faint at random moments. One by one, the members of the pride turned away from him, calling him a failure and even suggesting that he was not the true Prince of the King. He tried to turn to his father for acceptance, but none was given--finally, when he fainted during a simple hunting session, causing all of the prey to flee from the sound of a falling body, his father had the last straw. He kicked Matu out of the pride, forbidding him to ever show his face again. His mother only turned her head, unwilling to go against the orders of her king.

Now Matu roams the lands, depressed and lonely, searching for a Pride who will love him for the way he is. He possesses an overall good sense of humor, and strives to not let others see his sorrow. He loves to sing, and observe flowers. One could describe him as a naturalist! But he tends to hurt himself a lot, seeing as he tends to faint in dangerous situations.

Name: Nafuu (convalescence)
Stage: Adult
Gender: Female
Species: Lion (new lines)
Parents: ? x ?
Offspring: N/A
Description: Not sure what colors this makes one think of, but she's basically a spacey dumb blond. Well, sort of. I would love for her to have some pink(s) on her, maybe some white, and maybe blond hair. But really all around, she's CC. XD Go ahead and do what inspires you if you want!
Reference Image(s), if applicable: None, sorry! orz
Tell me about this SoA!: Her character is like this, so if you draw inspiration from that and get some inspiration for her looks there, that's cool. Because once again, I have no idea what designs she has, so colorist freedom is all yours. XD
(That's an entry for an RP contest I didn't win. I know some colorist's at other shops really hate people going after characters they didn't win, so it's all right if you don't like it, I totally understand! But it's basically just the personality that I've kept. I just loved the character of the female so much that I began to think about what it would be like to get her as an adult, and decided I really would love to have her. It might sounds kind of lame, but I felt this strong attachment to this character I had created, and I really love her. Then I began thinking ahead of myself, I guess, and thinking about future plots she could have. The first one I somehow came up with was to have her meet Komali -[with items]...[info about him here, if you want to see] (he's important because he'll be the one primarily with Nafuu all her life!) Komali comes from the Mwana-a'Lela, but he decided to branch out after he grew to adolescence. He stutters, he's anti-social because he feels judged, he's a bit vain out of self-consciousness, but he is also a very skilled tactician (thus the small stones he uses as toy soldiers, even in adulthood). He's the quiet genius type, but he really does tend to avoid interacting with people.

The idea of what would happen with Nafuu in the picture is this:

Nafuu has been a bit "strange" all her life. Her mother tried to love her best she could (see: not really), but it was obvious to both her and her family that something just was not right with Nafuu. Innocent thing as she was, sometimes she said odd things--dark things that made others question how truly innocent the young lioness was. Though Nafuu does have some sort of innocent mental instability, the different way she was treated from the rest of her family, on top of the strange looks and whispers she always received, caused the young lioness's innocent imaginary daydreams to shift at times to reveal something darker. Despite Nafuu just needing to be really loved to cure the darker side of her, her family opted to abandon her lest she tarnish their good name with her insanity instead. The now-adult Nafuu was herded by her sisters to a secluded location for a "game" of hide and seek. Problem was, no one ever came looking for Nafuu after she hid.

Now, wandering with a dazed smile on her face, the lioness did all she really could--kept walking and tried to stay alive. During her aimless wandering, Nafuu met Komali. The two lions, practically opposites in every way, do not get along at first. Komali looked upon Nafuu as a strange adult child, disturbed in the head and doomed to die if she's left on her own. Part of him tried to be amused by how she acted, even blank-facedly teasing her. But Nafuu thought it funny, too, and laughed even at her own self. Komali began feeling guilty, but hid it with a gruff act, telling her to be silent. Nafuu then proceeded to question Komali's stuttering. The two argued (well, more like Komali became defensive while Nafuu smiled blissfully), and in the end, breathing heavily in an attack stance, Komali glares at Nafuu, regarding her for several silent moments, then suddenly he relaxed. He sighed and decided that for now he would look after the girl, until he could find someone or some place where she would be taken care of.

Nafuu, happy as can be to have some company, follows Komali wherever he goes, innocently murmuring about whatever conversations she thinks she's having with the trees. Before she realizes what's happening, the lioness feels that if Komali were to leave her with another family, she wouldn't see him any more, and this makes her very, very sad. She has fallen in love with Komali. And while Komali wouldn't admit it (for now), he's beginning to wonder how his life would be without her...

After that, who knows what type of animals Nafuu will meet in her new life, or what types of situations she and Komali will experience?
Low luck?: (Technically speaking, I guess so. I've tried for her...four times, I think? But don't trust my memory. xx) Plot-wise, Komali has had pretty much...no RP. D: I'm sure he needs someone to look after him (or someone to look after) while he's out all by his lonesome, trying to find himself. He also needs to loosen up a bit. And poor Nafuu, she'll proooobably die if she's left to her own devices out there in the wilderness...who knows what would happen to her if she doesn't meet Komali? Who will help ease her insane childhood baggage?

Name: HE DON'T HAZ A NAME YET.
Stage: Adult
Gender: Male
Species: Lion (New lines)
Parents: N/A
Offspring: N/A
Description: Lol. See pictures below. I'd like the first pictures coloring. The second picture is just to show off the cat breed.
Reference Images: y hullo thar. I am fuzzy cat. I r second fuzzy cat.
Tell me about this SoA!: This boy, who's name I have yet to come up with, is going to be used in a later plot in my concept pride the Intaba'Umbikezeli. He is not born into the pride, and will later become a part of it when I decide to go through with that plot line. He is a spreader of chaos wrapped in a cute fluffy shell.

He helps one of the umbikezeli take over the pride and drive out the current leaders. He doesn't take a leadership position himself, as he finds it boring, and after some time moves on with himself and leaves the pride to disturb other pride's existence. :]

Ahem, he's a fluffy plot device, yus :B

Name: Daval
Stage: Adult
Gender: Male
Species: Lion ( New Lines )
Parents: N/A
Offspring: N/A
Description: Mortal form for Neltharion.
Reference Image(s), if applicable: God-Nelly
Tell me about this SoA!:
By now I think everyone's familiar with Nelly, and what he likes to do. Of course, most of the time that involves pulling the proverbial wool over mortals' eyes. To that end, he needs a mortal form he can take that won't look too terribly suspicious...but he can never resist showing off a bit.

His current plan is to find himself a nice, friendly little pride. Preferably one that's met with misfortune lately, and been split up, but begun to reform. Or one big enough that a new face claiming to be a member from birth wouldn't be too unusual. He'll then slip into his less-scary mortal form, and go about worming his way into the society. For weeks, months, years even he might play at being just another whomever in the pride while trying to slowly rise in power. His end goal of course would either be to usurp the leadership of said pride, or blow it apart from within.

Stage: Adult
Gender: Female
Species: Lion (New)
Parents: ? x Sa-daganogeda
Offspring: N/A
Description: CC! Daughter of Sa-daga (who is fertile) and a rogue lion. I <3 pink, but anything is fine.
Reference Images: None!
Tell me about this SoA!: Tahalili is a quiet beauty, a little awkward and confused, but polite. She's prone to mild depression, and is a very withdrawn individual. She will be a love interest and mate for Jani, who will eventually be the next swampie king - until it's revealed that she is, in fact, part cheetah, which is of course a no-no. Scandalous~! In the end, they'll be exiled :3.
