Rex looked around as they flew on Storm. "This is insane," he said. The grounds of the camp grew smaller as they got higher. Then, he remembered why he was really there. "So, tell me, what was the reason for the note you left me?" As he asked, Rex kept looking around in the air. The view was incredible. It felt amazing to have the wind passing around him. Rex smiled widely, enjoying the ride.

"I wanted to know...", Not letting the words phase, thats the reason we were flying so I wouldn't pay attention to what it was I was going to ask. "...the status of our relationship...I need to know where we are, are we friends or are we more?" I asked yelling over the wind.

Rex instantly stopped smiling, getting a serious expression on his face. "Well, I don't know. What do you want us to be?" He was taken aback by her question, so that was the best he could respond with. Rex was really quiet, which wasn't normal for him, but in this kind of situation, that's the only thing he could really do.

I suddenly felt aggrivated. It's a yes or no question I guessed I did spring it on him, yes I wanted to have a it to be more, but I felt weird saying that. That's why I asked him...well that and a relationship required both parties to have knowledge of it. I also didn't want to ruin our relationship as friends. "Kind of..."

Rex started scratching the back of his head, trying to think of what to say to Emma. Then, he found a way to stall. "I'd rather talk about this on the ground than in the sky." Rex had a sincere tone to what he'd just said. Rex was soon distracted by the methodic beating of Storm's heartbeat next to his legs. His thoughts soon drifted to just how incredible it felt to be riding such a majestic beast. Rex loved the feeling of being this high up, but those cheerful thoughts soon died once he remembered the matter at hand.

"Alright" I agreed. I kicked Storms side and she started to decsend. I looked behind me at Rex's solemn face. Great, I should have left this alone, he'll say no and our friendship will be over and I'll be alone again.
I looked at Storm's big muzzle, not knowing about anything like being alone. I hugged my body close to hers awaiting the conversation that waited for me on the ground and sighed.

Her black coat nearly blended into the night sky. I could leave without anyone seeing me. Right through the camp boarders. I decided to let it go. I wasn't going to leave, not yet anyway. I let my mind wander. It landed on one person, Carter Erris, she had seen him in the Hermes cabin a few weeks before, hadn't heard about him since then, but before that she had seen him dozens of times. Mostly at family reunions. After all he was like my second cousin or something like that. My father and his mother were related somehow. I could never remember how exactly. But one thing I knew was that he would be in the Hephastus cabin. He was always making things. I would see if I could find him sometime tomorrow. I was mostly calmed down know. I lead Storm back to the ground, I jumped off her back and on to the solid floor of the stables, kissed Storm's soft hair and left back to my cabin to get some much needed sleep. I was quiet as not to wake anyone up.

Flying was incredible. An indescribable feeling came over her. A sensation of freedom and happiness. Gwen laughed, looking down at the camp. She had never felt better.

I yelled happily. the feeling of flight was incredible. No matter how many times I'd done it or was going to do it was still feel amazing. "Told you it'd be fun" I yelled at Gwen over the roar of the wind.

Gwendolyn nodded. The wind was in her hair and face. They flew around for a bit, passing by others on pegasi. She waved at them. "This is way better than any amusement park!"

I laughed at Gwen's over excitement. We flew around a while then I started to take Storm down. "if you want you can keep flying. I just need to do some things. I'll be back in a while though." I said to Gwen. As soon as the Pegasus landing I jumped off and walked away. I hoped it didn't seem rude but I had the sudden need to go to the arena. I didn't know why but I did. "bye" i said to Gwen as I left. I waved at the same time.
