"Easily... I assure you." The Iron Judge chuckled. For a moment her glare remained on the rogue, she than turned around and begun to walk toward the arena exit on the other side. A black fog swirled about her, coming from the sands at her feet and her right arm.

The fog rapidly spread around the room, clinging to the columns and walls like a thick ink.

Soon after the room begun to rumble. Sand fell from the ceiling all about the room, covering the stands and even adding to the sands already in the battle arena. Small rocks joined in the falling derbies... the place was coming down.

"What the hell are you." Marcia growled at the woman. Marcia had no Idea how far Ander's Body was under the sands, let alone his head, it was the least she could do for letting this happen in the first place. To simply just dissapear... There would certainly be a few who missed him up there. She didn't think this place was a suitable tomb for the old rogue king.

Marcia started digging before the arena started rumbling trying to find any trace of Ander. The black fog around the room reminded her about the zombie attack and the time who knows how long ago when she lost her two other friends. Marcia glanced around the room, why now? she glared back at the woman who was leaving.

"The Iron Judge." The demonic voice chuckled. "Pray we never meet again child..."

With that said her form was completely engulfed in the black fog. Her maniacal laughter trailed on after her disappearance. The room shifted again. Sands begun to swirl around the room and peel from the walls. Even the rocks disintegrated to the sands. Everything begun to spin as if inside a tornado. The rocks crumbled to dust and joined in the quick swirling of the surroundings.

Ander's body quickly sunk deeper into the sands just out of Marcia's reach. The sands that covered in soon joined in the rooms rapid disintegration.

The black fog gripped at ground around Marcia than tried to attach itself to her legs. It would be like weights pulling her under water.

Marcia glared for only a brief moment She was still trying to get to ander, and ignored the disintegration of the room around, but as soon as she got close he seemed to slip out of her reach. She glowered darkly at the sand but soon felt a weight on her feet. What the hell. The black fog seemed to have clung to her legs like it had to the walls around.

She stood quickly trying to avoid the fog but it was surrounding the entire area. She had no where to go. The moment it touched her legs she sunk to the floor. what the hell is this stuff?! She wasn't a scientist that was certain but how could it do so much.

Marcia felt as though she too was beginning to sink underneath the sands.

The room turned into its own sandstorm before everything suddenly lifted to the dark sky above and fade away as if nothing had ever been there.

Above, the stars shone brightly against the late night sky. The moon hung just over the large towers of the imperial capitol off in the distance. It was quite peaceful... no sign of any temple or Colosseum anywhere. Just the soft sands of the imperial territory... Near by she would be able to see the feint white lump of Catastrophe. It was just over the dunes opposite side the direction of the capitol. At this point the ZOID would still be unconscious.

A small breeze raced across the lands carrying the dark chuckle of the Iron Judge, than settled leaving the world to silence once more.

Marcia covered her eyes to keep the sands out. But as it cleared she glanced toward the sky it was pitch black and there was nothing around as she then surveyed the lands Except... the imperial capital... and catastrophe in the opposite direction, a sigh of relief surged through her as it seemed from this distance the zoid was fine.

but the memory of ander being held aloft by the Judge made her shiver again, as that cold laugh seemed to echo across the sands. where was Ander's body?! Was it underneath her? Catastrophe would have an easier time digging, and Saga couldn't be to far away. At least she hoped, she still had to talk to the Zoid on what to do next. And apologize for not understanding the danger sooner.

Marcia made a run for catastrophe making sure to mark the spot where she had appeared on the surface. The imperial capital certainly wouldn't take to kindly to a hulking zoid nearby but that couldn't be helped now.

There would be not even the slightest sign of Saga anywhere in the immediate area. However, on the way to Catastrophe, Marcia would see a feint shine in the sands.

Some trinket lay fresh in the sands. Closer look would reveal it to be a silver pendant with a silver chain attached. What made this pendant so significant was that the pendant looked like a chumera with a long snake body and curled ram horns. The main face was that of a dragon while the two on the sides were that of a lion and goat. The end of the long tail bore the dead of a snake with its mouth ajar, sporting its sharp fangs. Each eye of the animal heads were jewel in crested with dazzling rubies.

The trinket was splattered with fresh blood...

Marcia couldn't see the fallen Chimera anywhere one the sands as she dashed toward Catastrophe, he couldn't have been that far from the bone dragon. in the moon light it seemed as though something was glittering in the sands. Gingerly Marcia picked it up from the silver chain. The blood splatters made it incredibly eerie.

Her eyes widened as Marcia realized who it resembled right away, It looked like Saga at least from what she knew of the great zoid. she counted the heads four.. Saga had four voices. There was no way the Chimera would be able to be turned into some simple trinket! This had to be some kind of joke.

She held the necklace tightly in her hand, still thinking there, there was no way that could happen as she continued toward Catastrophe.

The sand around and on top of the hulking ZOID suggested that it had been there quite a while. Perhaps even more than a day. It was quite a miracle that the hulking beast had not been spotted by the Imperial watch. Quite a feat considering that the Capitol was visible just on the horizon and this was the most guarded area of the territory.

Even now the area Marcia was in went unwatched by the Imperial guard's eye.

As the world settled into more clarity for Marcia, she would realize that she too had sand in her hair, cloths and show evidence of prolonged sun exposure on her skin.

Aside the pendant there was no other evidence of Saga in the area. None of the dunes seemed tall enough to be hiding such a massive ZOID...

As the world around Marcia seemed to clear she felt lightheaded as though she had heatstroke and hand been standing out here for days. She brushed the sand off her dress, as though she'd been standing there the entire time, then again the entire thing felt like a strange dream but the one image still hung in her head. Dream or not she'd feel better as soon as she found both Saga and Ander. If they were still here that is... The cool desert breeze felt good on her over heated skin.

so close to the capital it was a wonder no one had noticed her, Let alone the hulking bio zoid, if Catastrophe had woken earlier Marcia couldn't imagine the speed of the army to come and combat it... Marcia climbed the sands to get closer to her zoid. She Gently placed her hand on the zoid her other held the pendant of Saga tightly.

Catastrophe finally stirred grumbling, he shook the sands off his back and his red eye glowed and stared at Marcia.

She leaned her head against the Zoid a sigh of relief escaping her lips. Thank goodness. He was alright and he was awake Agumo had to be alright too or alive inside there, "Agumo are you alright too?"

So long as the ZOID was active, so was the organoid within. A brilliant system Dr. Fox created where the ZOID's consciousness was dependent on the organoid. That bond was made as soon as Agumo fused with the bone ZOID.

A swift southward wind blew over the desert sands. With it a heavy feeling and a cold chill.

In the distance, just north of their position, the loud steps of the imperial watch Death Saurer and his three lightning saix guards appeared. They were just now starting to make their rounds on that side of the city. A rather strange event had prevented them from getting this far earlier that day, but now watch resumed as normal. The colossal ZOID was rather slow in its step, however giving its size it covered a lot of ground with a step. Each Saix at its sides were still able to move faster though they had to put more effort into moving ahead of the foot.

Catastrophe 's red eys glinted and he gave a nod before opening the cockpit.

Thank goodness, they were both alright. Marcia leaped into the cockpit and it closed around her. It felt better to be back inside the great zoid once again, for some reason inside it felt cooler. Catastrophe couldn't know where Saga was being deactivated like that. Marcia couldn't guess what going back to where they had been captured would do...

Catastrophe growled warning of the approaching saix and death saurer.

Marcia enlarged the image focusing on the approaching zoids. She didn't need this now. Catastrophe stood, they wouldn't be allowed to try and dig over where she had been standing the saixes were approaching fast too. The great Zoid turned and started away as fast as it could. Long strides and light weight hopefully gaining ground away from the death saurer.

Catastrophe felt the same as Marcia, strangely he didn't want to fight this time either.

She quickly placed the pendant on the dash, then gripped the controller tightly making sure to keep her mind on what she had to do.

Luckily for Marcia none of the patrol noticed the escaping bone ZOID and continued on their route around the Imperial capitol. Their path would turn away from Catastrophe's soon enough further securing his escape.

Even further away from the city and further into the imperial desert there were no signs of recent ZOID activity. The sands were flat and rippled from the wind.

The lands remained like this for miles and miles until, when the outline of the great Imperial City was far gone, ZOID tracks could be seen in the sand. Bipedal, sharp crooked claws, and by the looks of the size and space of the imprint, it was large and fast. Though not nearly as large as Catastrophe.

It had to have been there recently as the wind had not yet been able to distort the print.

Marcia didn't look back to see the patrol had turned away, if they had the saix would be around catastrophe in moments, there would have been no way he could have out run them. She'd have to somehow make her way back there, in all actuality would be fairly impossible with the patrols.

as time passed there didn't seem to be signs of anything on the sands, Marcia watched as the imperial capital vanished into the distance. small footprints in the sands became more evident. A smaller zoid or perhaps animal seemed to have wandered through the sands.

Catastrophe slowed as Marcia peered at the tracks. Catastrophe stared at the long lingering trail. They were going to head down that way undoubtedly. he growled.

Marica then did glance back toward the capital that was no longer on the horizon. Maybe if they could catch this small zoid maybe it'd be able to get closer. "It's alright it's much smaller than you what could it do?" she steered the zoid on the path of the other zoid. His large strides should make catch up easy.

For a moment the ZOID came into view, bright rockets burning as the strange red ZOID moved forward at a normal pace for it. The moment was short lived as the ZOID vanished completely from View.

It was enough of a view for Marcia, possibly, to catch the details. This was the same ZOID that appeared to that Republic Pilot on the edge of the Unknown territory a while back.

Blaze picked catastrophe up on the radar rather quickly and recognized the ZOID from that day.

-You should return back to the rogue lands promptly. This place is very dangerous for you pilot. Imperial are currently at hostile status towards all rogues. I made sure they did not see you last time, but now your ZOID is awake and I cannot hide you both any more.-

Blaze sent the text message to Marcia. It would appear on a screen in front of her if the message was received.
