Tokemaru looked at his friend and nodded.
"Good plan Hito, I'll take the the halk-man. He seems to want a piece of me as well..." Tokemaru said as he glared at the winged beast man who was flying in circles above them. The beast man looked down at Tokemaru and leered at him. obviously the Hawk-man thought it was something special by having wings.
"Turtle God Lash!" The ripper ability disengaged and the blage changed into a boomerang like grapling hook. Tokemaru took carful aim and waited for his target to come within range.

The hawk beast laughed as he already figured out what was going on, so he quickly made a decent, or what seemed to be one. The beast planned on doing the darkness smoke ability, like his lion brethren, and vanish. With this he could simply dodge an attack, wait a few moments before he could do the darkness smoke again, then attack with a much more dangerous move.
The shinigami were to ignorant to the fact, but not stupid for that matter, that the darkness traveled to the others and increased the power at the speed of light, since darkness was a form of light in it's own.

Five creatures that looked like miniture hollows came out of the ground. One issue, they had glowing embers for eyes and abosolutely nothing inside. They were odd creatures, they had a hunger much greater than a Hollows. They stood there, bumbling together, then suddenly, they dashed out with a mix of swishing sounds and static sounds. They didn't care what they were going after, two attacked the shadow creatures, another three began eating people. This was, The Hollow Ones.

Tokemaru saw the Hawkbeast begin to decend and fired the lash chain. He didn't realize it was a feint until the beast disolved into smoke and the grapling hook went through it. Tokemaru cursed loudly and retracted the chain, He growled as the beast materialized and assented back out of range. Tokemaru decided to try again, and fired when the hawk-man came into range a few minuets later. This time however, the hawkman became smoke and flew towards Tokemaru. Tokemaru had planned ahead though and fired with only half the usual power, allowing him top retract the chain sooner. He deactivated the lash and raised his shield against the Hawk-man oncomming attack.

The hawk beast of darkness began to attack the shield of Tokemaru. He wished to cause harm to this man, since his master wished it, and what his master wished he would his best to do. The creature summoned weapons similar to swords, but it was a two triple bladed weapons in the form of bird claws, being used to attack the shields.
The other beasts attacked the creatures of lighting, and they then summoned their weapons of darkness. The werewolf began to howl as it turned to look at it's leader of the combat battle.
The leader of the darkness beast army was the most human looking one, but the most powerful as well. It didn't battle, but instead waited for a beast to die so it could combine with it's power and morph into the true darkness beast in the end.

Sparks flew and the sound of metal screeching against metal almost deafened Tokemaru as the hawk-beast's weapons struck his shield. Tokemaru soon realized that the beast was also strong and had a hard time pushing the creature back. Tokemaru eventually managed to forse the creature away from him and Tokemaru advanced on the beast with the point of his blade poised to stab the beast through the heart.

Hito quickly swung his body around and caught the creature's claws with two of his swords, one set with his left sword, the other with the one in his mouth. "Oi... getting attacked from behind is dishonorable. It's a mark of a coward." Hito said through his teeth. "I picked you because you seemed to resemble honor the most, however, it seems like your just as much of a beast as anyone else here..." Hito pushed the lion aware and retreated a bit before turning to face him again. Unlike the lion, Hito wished to hold the battle out until each of the beasts were in striking range of one of the fighters. To kill them all at the same time was not going to be easy, for they could easily fall for a trap waiting for the right opportunity. He had no choice but to eliminate the lion, or at least make it so that he was to be defeated, but not killed. This was not a simple task, if it was even possible, so he had to ask someone who might have an idea. "Ace! I have a question!" He shouted while charging at the beast, his swords crossed against his chest, ready to swing across and hit the lion.

"You speak of honor boy, but you must understand that each place has an army of assassins, which kill in secret. You speak of honor, and yet you are ignorant to it."
The lion beast of darkness said with a voice so deep it pushed the very bass line of vocal cords. The creature noticed the plan, because Goteshi easily knew the plan, since it wasn't his first time to notice something like this in the past.
The hawk creature allowed itself to be killed, and laughed as it instantly became one with the lion, increasing it's power by alot, as well as the other beasts.
The more human beast how ever gained wings, the feet became bird claws. He laughed as he flew up into the air, and avoided any battle to come his way. This shadowy beast was alot more dangerous.
The rest of the beasts were alot more powerful, pushing back the lighting creatures made by Dakota as one tried to consume one of the lighting creatures to shoot lightning at another shinigami. One beast even got ready to let itself die after it went in and began to kill more shinigami.

Tokemaru cursed as he realized his mistake in killing the hawk-beast, now the rest of their enemies were stronger. What suprised him though, was the speed in which the other beasts became stronger with the hawk-man's defeat.
"Aperently Hito was wrong..." said Tokemaru. He then realized that Hito's plan was impossible if they could recieve the power of their fallen alies so quickly. Tokemaru shook his head, he knew better than to hesitate at a time like this. he turned his attention on one of the wolf-beasts and dashed toward it while aiming a vetical slash at it's head.

Hito stopped his charge at the lion's words. "No... I am aware of their existence. In every war, there are those who slither through the ranks and assassinate their foes. However that isn't the fight I want. I want things to be simple." Hito charged his sword with reiatsu and fired it, it was actually aimed right at Tokemaru to halt him. "Oi!" He called out to him. "I don't remember giving you a mark for battle... don't be rash. If you don't think you can team up with us effectively than I shall battle them alone." Hito said with dead certainty. He knew that if they were just defeated one at a time, the same thing would happen like the imps, which would play right in their hands. Perfect resonance between the fighters, perfect timing was needed for it to be a success, even at light speeds, if the deaths were to happen at the same time the energy would only be absorbed back into the master. However, that wasn't something even remotely practiced, and there was only one way Hito could even think of it working.

Tokemaru stopped and turned to look at Hito, he saw the look in his eyes and mached it was a look of his own. Gone was the meek and pitiful soldier Tokemaru had been when he had started out as a shinigami.
"I'm sorry Hito, but what else can I possibly do!? There is no way we can kill them all at once, you must have noticed how quickly they gain power whenever one of their own is killed. These creatures will not wait for your mark to fight and I can't just stand here and allow them to run wild!" Tokemaru honestly didn't think that Hito's plan would work, however he would listen if his comrade would elaberate on how the plan might work.

"Use your mind more, remember you were from Squad 1 before you became a captain. You may do what you want, but remember I will not help you if you dig your own grave. Until then I will carry out with my plan, my way..." Next to Hito, three figures materialized. One was a large African elephant that stood on its hind legs like a man, which wore a red samurai suit and a pair of black gauntlets where his hands were. In the gauntlets rested two katanas and curled up in his trunk was a third, just as Hito's Zanpakuto were. Next was a human looking bear that wore a pair of reddish brown shorts and a funny looking tophat, he held three katanas as well, but all of them in his right hand. And lastly, a figure no one from the Seireitei had seen prier to this engagement, a white liger stood holding three sheathed Zanpakuto's similar to the elephant and Hito, only that they were facing down rather than up. He resembled the dark lion beastman, in appearance, only that they were completely opposite shades. Hito and these spirits began to become engulfed with his reiatsu, being connected by it. Hito reached inside his kimono and ripped off a few talismans that he had stuck onto his chest before. The talismans were papers enhanced by ancient spells used to hide the presence of those unskilled in doing so, which he found while searching through Squad 13 archives. This was a way for him to seal off his always released reiatsu and prevent harm to his subordinates, without having to wear some jewelry that would become troublesome to maintain. The ripping off of the talismans multiplied Hito's reiatsu and of course the reiatsu distributed amongst the other three. They stood still and began to resonate with each other, closing their eyes and focusing their power into one. San, the elephant kept his eyes open and was alert of any attack that would come in case. He was the wisest and didn't require as much time as the others. ((Oh, how many of these shadow beasts are there? and how many died? Or is it still only one?))

Tokemaru was disapointed in Hito, he had been hoping that Hito would at least try to explain how his plan would work in these circumstances. Tokemaru got a foolish lecture instead and it made him angry. His days as a member of Squad 1 were full of frustration and disapointment. No mater how hard he tried during training or any other task he always fell short in comparison to the others, espesually Hito. Even their captain never gave him a word of praise or even a complement, it was always Hito and great Hito was and how he should aspire to be like Hito....Tokemaru pushed those thought out of his head with great effort, what was doing, thinking about that now? He would talk to Hito about it later.
"Alright Hito, I'll hang back and wait for your mark!" Tokemaru shouted back. He backed off from the Wolf-beast, who was unaware of Tokemaru's presence.
((thought I'd add some drama to the mix if that's ok))

(They're not lightning creatures.... They're the hollow creatures that evolve into what Goteshi is when they eat enough...)

(There are ten in total, only one let itself die, so there are nine now.
Oh and if they become what Goteshi is, wouldn't they no longer be on the same side as the shinigami or hollows, but instead join Goteshi since they are the same race now?)
The beasts all laughed as they turned did their masters darkness surfing, spreading out. They knew the plan before it was made, mostly because it is a very common plan that everyone tries to do.
Goteshi just laughed as he watched people fight, die, and struggle against his beasts. If they could kill two more, one after another, Goteshi had a plan for more entertainment.
One of the beasts laughed as it took a zanpakuto from a soldier, and stabbed the shinigami with his own weapon.
The rest continued to battle.
The lion stood where he was and laughed for a bit.
"You might not be the most intelligent person in our realm. Hell even people that came here in the past knew not to speak out their battle plans. Now your plan isn't the most fresh plan, we were going to trick you into believing you were going to get the last nine of us, then vanish, but since your were stupid enough to shout it out, we chose to just spread out. Now, keep your guard up, I'm done fooling around."
The lion said as two lion headed maces appeared, one in each hand. In moments he began to fling them around in a circular matter to block long distant attacks, but to attack his opponent.
