Veronica had heard what Hunter said about her being more bitchy than the wolves. Well, fine then.
Of course, as Veronica went into their bedroom and slammed the door, plopping down on the bed, she expected this to all be resolved in no time. As it usually was. They'd fight, she'd over react, he'd yell and scream, and then they'd have hot, sweaty sex and make up.
End of story.
It was what kept their relationship spicey, really.
But she sat on the edge of the bed, for what seemed like hours before poking her head out into the hallway.
"Hunter?" She called softly, nothing. He wasn't near..
What the hell!

XYeah Raffaele wondered why Hunter married that ho too.
Oh hell, Hunter was going to pull a disappearing act on her? That had happened to Raffaele before, and it had really ******** with him...so yeah he was happy that Veronica was getting punished for being a b***h and getting his man, but he still sort of felt bad because that "I'm dropping you off at the church steps then zooming away" crap really messed a person up!
Whatever.
Raffaele's gray eyes flashed yellow on their own accord as David poofed away.
For some reason Raffaele's powers got all out of his control while in the presence of demons...it was really annoying actually!
His head snatched to the vampire. Did he want to spend some quality time catching up with Hunter?
Was that a joke of course he did!
"Sure, we can walk in the plains." Why not, it was always nice weather in Australia anyway.

whom I sought for centuries. Hunter shook his head, "I give it roughly 10 more minutes before she comes storming down here to see what is going on. I need to be gone and scent erased in that 10 minutes Raff." yeah, cause he wasn't ******** playing. He really was tired of this s**t, all 300 years of it.
He took off at a jog, trusting what David had said about Raffaele being a Versipellis, David was usually spot on about that stuff, then he would be able to keep up.

XScent erased...well they'd have to move faster than this if that's what Hunter was after!
Now that Raffaele was more versatile...and that he had been changing his shape for hundreds of years...developing imaginary creatures that moved super fast...was sort of a hobby for him now.
He had had to be fast in order to outrun all those crazy a** vampires and werewolves that either followed him around or tried to kill him for kicks.
In a flash Raffaele's human form melted off of him on sport for a creature that had no real name. He was humanoid, save for the sleek silver skin, the clearly over mucsular legs, streamline tail and dinosaur like head full of black sharp teeth.
Yeah, he was pretty creative.
Now in every sense of the word a monster, Raffaele zoomed up to Hunter's jog, seized the man's wrist and pulled the vampire at speeds reaching at least two thousand miles per hour.

He growled then held on tightly as they zoomed through there to wherever the ******** it was they were going cause it was clearly up to Raffaele now. But That ******** was going to get yelled at when they stopped!!!

XRaffaele stopped suddenly in a grassy field populated by groups of wallabies. He was no longer his silver creation, but a simple vampire that looked almost exactly like Raffaele's old human form.
It was funny, when you were a versipellis, you were never actually a versipellis.
You were never yourself.
It took Raffaele all of a second to remember something very important. Raffaele threw himself forward, arms outspread and trapped the vampire in a hug.
He had wanted one of those for hundreds of years.

whom I sought for centuries. They stopped, and before Hunter even realized it, he was in a hug by who was still Raffaele, but at the same time he wasn't. Hunter hugged the man back, not even being skimpy on the hug either, before he bit the mans shoulder roughly. And smirked at him, "That was for the jog." He broke from the mans embrace and looked at him, licking the blood off his lip and making an interesting face at the taste. It was delicious and disgusting all at the same time.

XHUGS!!!!! How Raffaele secretly longed for them. And honestly this hug with Hunter was so surreal Raffaele wondered if perhaps this was one of his elaborate dreams.
Apparently not! There was pain in the form of a bite!
Even though it hurt for a second, Raffaele couldn't help but grin broadly at the sight of Hunter licking the remnants of blood off his lips.
"I've missed you, so much." He said still beaming.

"I thought I was dead too, at first." He had never experienced fear like that before that was for sure.
This was sort of a complicated story too, where to start.
"Do you remember when I was raped?" It wasn't actually a question though. "That has everything to do with this. Apparently there's this thing called a versipellis, which, I am now. And anyway, a versipellis is like the ancient ancestor of werewolves, lycans and even vampires. The reason no one knows about us is because there's probably only like four of us every five hundred years, and for some reason only certain people can become a versipellis, it's not like being turned into a wolf or a vamp."
Raffaele sighed, clear discomfort written all over his features.
"That creature that raped me and took me away, was an old versipellis who caught my scent and knew I was the next in line. So he took me away and did what he had to in order to change me and carry on the race. When I was transforming....I wasn't stable....at all."
In other words, he killed everything around him, and ate it.
"So even though I wanted to come and find you I couldn't, Apolldorous wouldn't let me anyway. And finally after being stable enough to go back into the world, you had left, and I had no idea where you were. So I stayed with Apollodorous for a long time, then took charge of being a versipellis on my own."

That explained a lot, as well as the fact of David's son in law, which he hated him calling Max that, being a Versipellis as well. "A Versipellis... Well that certainly explains why your alive." he said with a grin and looked at the man, not pressing the subject much because he knew it made Raffaele feel uncomfortable. Being with Veronica for the past 300 years had taught him to be a little more sensitive to peoples feelings, not by much though.
"What else have you been doing then?"

"Eating. I eat SO much it's unbelievable. I dunno, eating, buying clothes, commanding werewolves, who for some reason can't refuse me...and sleeping around."
For real. There was the fact that Raffaele had a "boyfriend", but that rich human dude didn't really count as anything.
"So how have you been these past 500 years?" Well someone got married that was for sure.

She would be pissed as hell but she would get over it. And it didn't mean he loved her any less, he was just mad at her at the moment.
