Sign me up for this! I'm off to go get some daffodils. My grandad has lymphoma, but as far as the doctors can tell, he's way better than he was before biggrin FEELtheNOVOCAIN star7301 any one wanna have a march for cancer Me!! How do you suggest we do that?I have an idea: We could all meet in the Towns at a certain place and time, and walk around. A IRL march though, I have no idea how to do.

You'd have to do an IRL one with people in your community. While I know a couple of people, it's not nearly the effect I'm going for with this as an impact on Gaia.
Meeting in Towns is difficult. If we chose a person's house to meet at and then move from there, it might work. Mine is sadly bare at the moment, so I'm not going to embarrass myself by volunteering.

I got diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in the summer of '09. I was surprised that someone as young as me (22) could even get cancer, for the most part it really does take you by surprise... young or old. Ontop of that those with Lymphoma normally don't have support groups, I assume because of the cure rate of the cancer... and normally its not considered terminal unless treatments fail.
None the less, it put a smile on my face to see that someone actually took the time to put up an awareness thread about it.
So thank you, and I show my support. [For the most part, when it comes to any cancer].

Blaizekit Hey guys, looks like you got some cool ideas brewing under your hats. How's it going? ninja Good~ FtN came up with most of the contest and events. She is doing most of that *through me* while I am advertising our group in the general forum. Kurumii, I hope you beat it. I did recognize the lack of support groups for it, and am glad to be the captain to this team. Non-Hodgkin's toom my father's life when I was but a toddler of three years.

Hmm I dont actually recruit.. I wouldnt know how. My members just sorta trail in, telling us about their experiences with loved ones, or themselves having leukemia. We only have a few active ones too, but luckily for us, at least 4 of em are poets, and one does visual art, so the thread is usually quite interesting ^^

And Im good at advertizing. Especially with my irresistable charisthma.
