「Ti-Asia Simmons」
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx →→→ "Let Nature deal with matter, which is her own, as she pleases; let us be cheerful and brave in the face of everything, reflecting that it is nothing of our own that perishes."

Crystal Kay's 'Lost Child' blasted through her small ear buds as she entered the Dorm Hallway. An apathetic expression was on her face as she mouthed the foreign lyrics from the songstress's song, her shoulder's slouched. She didn't particularly want to be at this place, preferring her regular High School. Ti-Asia had no choice in the matter, though, since her grandmother assured her that being here would help her understand her powers. She certainly hoped so, recalling the incident that happened prior to arriving. Making a random guy spontaneously combust while on the bus wasn't fun, not at all. The ride over wasn't entirely eventful, either. Her dufflebag in her tight clutch, brown eyes looked around the hallway. Students coming in left and right, some giving her curious glances while others just ignored her. She didn't blame them. Ti-Asia was basically sitting in the hallway like a sitting duck or a lost kid, whichever one would prefer.
Her gaze remained down the hallway for the time being before she took a hesitant step forward and proceeded to walk to her room-- her new home. Brown orbs trailed over the numbers over the room doors, counting mentally until she would arrive to hers. She wondered briefly if she would have her own room or a roommate. Either would be fine with her, but having a room mate could be fun or either disastrous.
Once she got to her room, she took out the key and hesitantly touched the doorknob. She couldn't recall how many times in the past two years she had to brace herself while touching things, often being overcome with emotions of the previous owners or 'touchers'. Good memories and often sad ones came to mind as she unlocked the door and walked in...
