Syaoran-Puu *She smiled and tilted her head looking at him. She knew she wasn't a very good teacher -they where both having trouble. Maybe she should ask her Daddy to help? Granted that would mean swallowing her pride infront of her friend -how would he react if she did such a thing? Without thinking she commented on his compliment* I will always be happy with you. *It wasn't until after the words left her lips that she realised they could be taken wrongly, afterall she had heard Haishan telling Tuli similar things, as did her father to her mother. Maybe he wouldn't even take it that way? Not really wanting to see his expression she turned her head and looked straight ahead.* No-t f-a-r *she stumbled with the words*

Smiling, just happy that she would be happy, not thinking to take it any other way, then again he hadn't really started to think of girls as anything but girls or friends yet, though Chan did make him feel funny inside when she said nice things like that. But it was good, he was happy, Chan was happy. He puffed up a bit and walked with a bounce in his step. "Everyone being happy is a good thing." Nodding like this was somehow very profound. Smiling over at her.

Syaoran-Puu Yeah... *she blushed a little more, still unsure how he had taken it. Perhaps she on;y thought the way she did because she was around so many adults -and most of them where couples. She had to admit that Sonnet was cute, for a boy. And his purple colouring had her fascinated.* ...I like being happy. *It didn't seem to take long at all, as the made their way through the trees they once again started to thin to reveal the lake she called home and the members of her herd -some waking and some settling down for the now- ever busy. Somethings she longed for a break, even if it was just for a little while. Maybe that was the truth to her wandering?* Looks like we are nearly there *She turned to smile at him*

Smiling back, as she says that they were nearly there. "I think being happy is the best thing, its even better if those around you are happy too..." Walking along not seeming to fixed on what she had said so she could breathe a sigh of relief. Looking over at the lake, he lived near the river so to him seeing the lake sparkling in the sunset was lovely. "Oh..." Stopping and looking at the water for a moment before shaking his head and catching up with her.

Syaoran-Puu *As he stopped she turned to look at him, seeing the reactions of others always made her remember the true beauty of her home. The Moon flower brought down from the mountains especially for her mother had already started to open with the coming of night, and something about them always seemed to glow -very pretty. Then you had the lake, large enough to keep the whole herd swimming happily plus others, it reflected the sky above. At night she thought that she was looking at her own pelt. Darkness with a soft twinkling of stars. Granted the lake looked much prettier than she did. It was mainly a clearing but every now and then was a tree or two, perfect for shelter in the heat of day, and excellent for sleeping under when it rained. There where also the odd berry bushes, although they generally ventured into the forest to seek food. Yes, this was her home and she loved it so.* Pretty isn't it! You should see the lake in the dark of the night, the stars dance all over the glistening surface. Like a ballet of swans but better. *She gave him a cheeky grin before continuing forward, she was sure that her father would spot her any moment and come pounding towards them demanding to know where she had been -yet it was currently quiet*

Sonnet just nodded, this was a very pretty place, he loved his home too though it was more wild than here. Everything looked so dream like here. Looking round as he followed her, his home having more trees and brush, wondering if he would one day take Chan to see his home, thinking about it then deciding that hid dad would probably do something to embarass him like tell her stories about when he first got out his basket. Groaning softly in dispair at the thought. He loved his dad but he had a habit of teasing his children when they REALLY didn't want it.

Syaoran-Puu *As they drew closer to her faviourite sleeping spot she stopped, closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She felt so safe here, so at peace. Opening her eyes she gave him a soft smile -remembering when another male had brought her home when she had been much younger, Cael, the first Ceryni she had ever met.* Well this is where I sleep... *she nodded towards the tree and then blushed a little at the fact she was sharing this knowlegde with someone*
----------------------
*Maion heard a familar voice drifting on the wind. His daughter -where had she got to? She knew she was meant to be home before dark. A little annoyed he made his way towards her only to pause as he noted someone with her -a stallion perhaps? He grunted under his breath, she was too young for boys. What was she thinking. Didn't she know what they wanted at her age? Teen or not she was HIS little girl*

"Oh!" Sonnet stepped back blushing. "I'll let you umm stay and I'll go." Nodding, this seeming best, he goes and she stays... that was how it was meant to go. "I had fun, I was happy to see you again today." She was home safe so this is where a polite guy leaves, and he wanted to be a polite guy. "Maybe we can fly together again soon, or try too..." Not having noticed the big annoyed male headign their way.

Syaoran-Puu *Chandra nodded at his words and smiled softly, it was only a place to sleep -nothing bad about that -right? Just as she was about to say good night to him she heard a noise behind her, turning she saw her father walking towards them. he looked mad -but why?* Daddy? *She called towards him, a smile still upon her lips*
---------------
*Maion grunted a little before speaking.* Don't 'Daddy' me princess. Where have you been? And why are you with a boy alone? *He looked towards the young stallion, true enough it didn't seem like anything horrible was happening, it wasn't as if she had given him a good night kiss or anything. Maybe he was overreacting? Trying to calm himself he took two deep breaths and then spoke again.* Sorry princess. Its just been a long day.... *True enough it had been hard work, a skinwalker had tried to come near the herd and it had taken Maion all day to scare them off and then confuse them enough about the herds location to ensure their saftey. That was the main issue with stay in one place for too long.*
_--------------------
*Chandra huffed at her fathers words* It's not like that Daddy. Sonnet is my friend -we were trying to figure out the world thats all- and trying to fly! *Her blush brightened, she was so annoyed at her father for embarrasing her, why did he had to get all overprotective? Why couldn't she had just said good night to Sonnet and then dealt with him? It seemed the fates truely did hate her.*

Sonnet was just looking up at her father, he was big... And he was mad... Remembering that Chan had said he cautioned her against boys. His ears going flat about ready to be yelld at for being near his daughter. Looking at her, recognising that embarassment on her face, most kids got it when their parents flipped out at their friends. But he stayed quiet, definately not wanting to make the big male and madder. Though part of him wondered if he would get that big too as he was an angeni corn too*

Syaoran-Puu *Maion watched the young stallion closely, and as he did he noticed the near fear in his movements -the lowering ears was enoughto make his heart melt. How could he be so cruel to her friends. She needed friends. Plus it wasn't as if he had stopped Mal from hanging around with girls. Deciding he really had overreated he looked to Chandra and muttered an apology.* Sorry princess. *He hated it when she was so mad at him. He only wished to protect her* So... how was the flying? Did you remember all the things I taught you?
--------------------
*Chandra looked towards her friend, she hated that her father had done that to him, walking over to him she nudged him softly with her shoulder -sure enough that it would annoy her father even more- before whispering* Don't worry, he just looks scary at first he would never hurt you. *She offered him a warming smile before looking at her father and sticking her tongue out, suddenly a lot more playful now that her father had obviously cheered up a bit.* Well... it didn't go that well. Sonnet was doing really well near the end though! He could flutter for ages. *She wiggled her little wings, but then a thought crossed his mind that made her lower her gaze to her hooves. She knew they needed help -plus it was the least he could do to make up for treating Sonnet so badly. Taking a deep gulp she swallowed her pride and spoke her request so fast she wasn't sure her father would understand her words.* PLEASETEACHMEANDSONNETTOFLY!

Sonnet looked at her when she bumped him, the wings on his head perking a little bit, giving a slight smile. Murmering softly, unsure but guessing. "I think dads are like it cause daughters are special... They dont want unworthy cads around such treasure..." Not sure if he was explaining it right but knowing how his father treasured his sisters. Giving Maion a wairy look, almost falling over when chan asked him to teach them both to fly. Gaping at her in shock, but respect was on his face, she had guts that was for sure.

Syaoran-Puu *Maion was a little shocked by her request, and considering she did it in front of her showed him just how much it meant to her. At least if he taught them he would be able to keep an eye on them an get to know the young stallion to ensure he wasn't just trying to wiggle his way into his daughters heart. Smiling at his daughter he nodded* If that is what you want Princess. *Then looking towards her friend he asked.* ....is that what you want young one?
----------------
*Chandras tail wiggled happily at his reply, at least there was one good thing out of this whole ugly overreaction. She looked to Sonnet and tilted her head a little waiting to hear his reply.*

Sonnet almost jumps to attention as he is addressed, standing up straight, looking up at Maion before looking down, not sure which you were meant to do to show respect. Looking back up again. "I want to learn to fly more than anything sir... Chan was really kind to teach me all I know so far.." Having been working hard to show her that her lessons were important to him, though she didn't see all the hours he practiced, he hoped his improving had shown her he was trying hard.

Syaoran-Puu *Maion watched the colt carefully he seemed to be trying to impress him -at least that was a start. Sighing a little he nodded* So be it. If you are both not busy tomorrow - *he paused for a moment before looking at his daughter* - the usual place, bring your friend with you. *He gave them both a small smile before deciding he had out stayed his welcome. And so he turned and left them alone -even if it killed him to do so*
-----------------
*Chandra giggled as she watched her father, she knew how hard it was for him to leave her alone with a boy -despite the fact they had been alone all afternoon. She looked to Sonnet* See... not so bad. *She gave him a sly wink before speaking again.* If you are not busy tomorrow I will take you to the 'teaching' area. If you are busy I will get my Dad to rearrange it. *She gave him a smile before adding quickly.* He won't mind. *She didn't want her friend to feel pressured into doing anything he didn't want to. And the truth was her father scared her from time to time, the only thing she had that Sonnet didn't was that she knew he wouldn't hurt anyone who didn't outwardly declare war against the herd.* Oh.... *Her eyes widened* ...would you like me to get my Daddy to take you home? Or would you like to spend the night here? Its safe I swear.
