I'm going to be around even less. Last night my sister was out with a group of friends and a drunk driver came onto the curb and hit one of her friends. I didn't know the girl that it hit but it made me realize that if Leigha had been walking just a little bit slower it could have been her too.
I think I need to start spending some more time with my sister before I go away to university.

She's really quiet and kinda stares off into space if no one is keeping her attention. She constantly looks as though she's about to cry. She was hysterical last night and she wasn't making too much sense, when she was talking to me alone she kept saying "It wasn't her fault, it wasn't her fault, she didn't do anything wrong." She told me this morning she meant because the girl had been on the sidewalk and wasn't even in traffic or anything.
And her friend died last night. Her name was Mary Elizabeth Chaulk or something like that, Leigha called her "Marybeth" so I almost missed the news article on her. The news is a bit wrong though.Quote: Article hereN.S. girl killed after being hit by car in crosswalk Canadian Press Sunday, March 12, 2006 DARTMOUTH, N.S. -- A 16-year-old Dartmouth girl is dead after she was hit by a car while in a marked crosswalk. Mary Elizabeth Chaulk was hit early Saturday evening while crossing a road in Dartmouth, across the harbour from Halifax. Halifax police Staff Sgt. James Perrin says it was still light out at the time and driving conditions were good. Perrin says Chaulk was taken to hospital and died overnight. Police are investigating, though no charges have been laid. "In the face of this unfortunate, tragic accident, we'd like to remind drivers and pedestrians to take extra care in high-traffic areas,'' said Perrin. That's all that's being said right now. I'm going to watch the news tonight.

I don't think that I would be able to handle it as well as her if I was just walking along one day and a friend of mine was just killed like it was nothing. Tell her that Weasel said "hi" I can't believe that I even remember her calling me that. >.<

Powerful situations can birng up all sorts of memories. I feel for your sister Mari (can I call oyu that? sweatdrop ). I know what its liek to loose a friend. My Grandpa was kille din a hot air baloon accedent, he was one of the best friend I ever had when I was younger...his baloon was too low and his basket got cauth on a power line, it caught fire and he was dead before the balloon hit the gournd. I wa sonly, like, five at the time but I can remember what happend, what I was doing, and how I got the news...my mom was in tears after a phone call, I asked her what was wrong. "Grandpa Is dead!" where the only word she could choke out before she started screaming, I was with friends at the time, they had to leave because my crying became so uncontrolable that I became violent and started lashing out at them when they tried to comfort me...I'm still angryt at them in a way...at the time they had no idea what it was liek to loose some one you hold so dear.

crying I promise not to call her homeloaf anymore.
That's so sad. I'm praying for all of y'all.
I have my own message to add. I haven't been feeling good the past few days, so I haven't been on much. That'll probably continue for a few more days, but once this thing clears up, I"ll be back.
Around the 21st, I won't be on at all, I'm getting my mediport out and I'll be in no state to read things that make me upset. After that I should be good to go back, though, so I can continue to make people miserable while I'm still 18.

Herm....well, my operating system died. I'm hoping it'll get resolved soon, we're working on it.
Besides that, I'm going to Norway on Saturday, so I probably will be spending as much time with Terje as I can. (And I shall definitely post pictures if he gets me a ring ninja ) He does work though so I might pop on every once in awhile.
