Cyrus gleamed as she followed him, he ran a ways but then he stopped and waited. A melodic tune seemed to spread through his ears as the spring wind blew through his mane. His emerald eye staring at her in love, he went to her and nuzzled her looking in her coffee colored eyes.

Alona watched Cyrus and gave him a smile as he stared at her. She nuzzled him sweetly in return as her body shivered in delight of him. The spring breeze wafered gently around, and at that very moment Alona was as happy and as in love as she could possibly be.

Cyrus gleamed at his Juliet, "What would you like to do today?" he asked her inquisitivly. "Soon the lake will be heaven as soon as the hot weathers come." His ears erect and intent on listening to any word she said.

"I don't know what to do" she said flickering her tail lightly as she took a n** of his mane. "But you are right, the lake will be a joy when the heat comes to play" she said letting her eyes dance across the water only to return them to Cyrus giving him a smile.

Cyrus smiled. Yet never had Alona, lover or mare, been so alluring. Never had she held him so in thrall. Dear God he was in love. His emerald eyes gazed as the trees blossomed with there spring flowers. He had no words to speak for he was all in depth of her beauty.

"Whats the matter cat got you tongue?" Alona asked giving a little laugh. She nuzzled his cheek softly and stood beside him leaning a little on him. There was no other place in the world where she wanted to be, but beside him. Just being near him made her feel complete, happy and overjoyed, and that was where she wanted to be. With him.

Kanti looked around the teepee. She didn't see Alona there. Where on earth was that mare... didn't she know what day it was... Kanti thought to herself as she wondered out. She looked around and couldn't find her anywhere. So she headed towards the valley. There she spotted Alona with her herd. Kanti cringed for a moment, she hated having to go near the herd without having fear of being sucked into it. She shook her head letting her beads ring and headed towards her. Alona watched over the valley as other soquili foals where receiving their gifts for mothers day. Alona had no gift for her mother, due to her being gone. She gave a small sigh and watch happily. Her ears flickered to a noise sounding much like Kanti's beads. She turned to see her coming towards her with a sly and embarassed look on her face.
"Well I haven't seen you in ages Kanti, how are you" she said giving her a nuzzle. "I have been fine Alona have things gone well with you" Kanti said giving her a nuzzle back while trying to hide an object behind her back."Things have been fine, but I have missed you" Alona said looking at Kanti. She had raised her when she was a foal. She was for the moment, the only family besides her mate she had. And she loved Kanti as a daughter."I've missed you to, Mom" Kanti said dragging out a seashell necklace. She had collected the seashells from her trips to the beach and Lilly helped by stringing them together.
Alona gave Kanti a happy nuzzle.

Cyrus galloped his way over to Alona's. He had missed here even if he hadn't been gone more than two days. His emerald eyes focused on his destination, her teepee. As he arrived he looked around and seen no signs of anyone near it. "Alona," he called out for a bit in panic. His earrings jingled as he tossed his head looking around.

Alona was nestled deep within the teepee. Lilly hadn't been allowing her as much as free time when she found out the news. She was curled up sleeping when she heard a voice. And it sounded familiar. She woke up and heard the jingles of earrings, was that Kanti. Standing up and shaking herself off a little Alona stood up and peeked her head outside. Kanti is that you, Lilly has been looking for you for ages she wanted....Cyrus!" she cried when she realized who it was. Alona was glad to see him as she eased her way out of the teepee.

Cyrus laughed when she thought he was Kanti, his ears perked up when she was moving slower than usual. His brow raised curiously, "Are you hurt." He went to her side not comprehending the larger belly. His emerald eyes beaming with wonder and a bit of hurt. He helped her up a bit, letting her lean on him if needed be.

Alona couldn't help but give a laugh he apparently didn't understand the larger belly or why she moved slower. "Oh no no I'm not hurt at all, Lilly hasn't been letting me out as much she afraid I will get myself hurt" she said leaning against a little to get up. The task was a little slow now with a larger belly. Alona gave him a loving nuzzle before she broke the news to him.
"The truth is Lilly hasn't let me out with my condition...." and as she searched for the words "...because I'm pregant" Alona said looking at him with her soft coffee eyes wondering what he would say next.

Cyrus looked at Alona, "Wha...but...really?" His tail flickered and his eyes grew wide in happines. He looked at her belly which had gotten bigger, "Your pregnant!" He looked as if he was barely containing himself to do something, with his usual sweet yet dumb grin. "I'm going to be a father and your going to be a mother!" I seemed that it was still just processing through his brain. He nuzzled her.

Alona gave a small laugh as she nuzzeld him sweetly. "Yes you are going to be a father, and I am going to be a mother" Alona whispered almost barely audible. Telling him made it seem, to her that it was all true. She felt as if she was in a happy dream she could never imagine.

Cyrus heart seemed to be racing aswell, "Is there anything I can do for you to make it easier on you?" he asked wanting to be helpful as usual. His ears perked up waiting for her reply.

"No no I'll be fine, Lilly has seen to that, actually a little too well" she said giving him a small laugh. "I wouldn't mind a short walk, but no running I don't think I could manage that with my waddling" she said with a giggle and giving him a nuzzle.
