The Sneasel could recognize an attack as it was being wound up, and he smirked, using agility. Unfortunately, he still wasn't fast enough for the Gengar's attack and was hit hard. Flying backwards, it was clear it was a one hit KO.
Nina wasn't just about ready to give her battle over to the Gengar, and she spit out an ember attack at him in fury. "YOU a**! That was MY fight. Stay of of my way." She growled to him.

Panther chuckled and scrambled down from his hill. "It was beautiful and perfit. Shade's traing had really payed off, now all that was left was to snag it and drag the dark/ice type back. "Awesome job Shade! you nailed it!"
Shade puffed up a bit in pride. Maybe there was something to this drain punch move after all. Being able to take out a dark type in one strike was some bragging rights for a ghost type. that was when he heard a small voice yell at him, and he looked down. "Oh, sorry Nina, I got caught in the moment. Panther and I have been working on that move for days now. Next time is yours, ok?"
Panther looked at Kofuku. 'Did you see that? He layed it out with one hit!" adrenilen was still rushing through his veins from the victory.

Nina was fully in rage, and her anger at Shade was evident. "You stay away from me, you human-lover." She spat the words out as if they tasted sour in her mouth.
Kofuku was on shock, staring with her mouth hanging dumbly. When Panther looked at him, all she could do was look back with that stupid expression and point at Nina. She couldn't believe it, but the little pokemon had just saved her from being mauled by a Sneasel. Finally regaining her speech, she spoke in a shaking voice. "She.... saved me..."

Shade shrugged off the insult. It didn't bother him much that the fire type thought him a human lover. She didn't know how much work was put into that move.
Panther stopped, "Did she? Well good! I didn't see that, I must have been looking another dirction." he pated Kofuku's shoulder. "Don't sweat it." He tossed a pokeball over Shade's head and onto the Sneasle, watching intently.

Kofuku gave a soft, slow laugh. "She.... she did it...." Giving a squeal, and literally jumped on to Panther. "Ohmygosh this might actually work out!" She watched from her perch on his back as the pokeball bounced off harmlessly from the fainted pokemon and rolled back to Panther's feet.
(OOC: Had to do it, since the rules stated that it couldn't be caught >< Sorry for the post's lameness....)

"I'm not a pack mule. sweatdrop " he tried to let her down. Glancing at the pokeball he frowned. "Can pokemon not be caught when unconsious? time to bust out the rope then."
((can as long as you don't keep, can be caught for team rocket. panther plans on handing it over.))

"Awww, but it's so high up here! I feel so tall!" She blinked and looked at the pokeball. "Maybe it's frozen from the mountain air...? It is kinda cold-You're going to tie it up? Is it REALLY worth that much effort to have to drag it everywhere up and back down the mountain path with us?"
(Toootally missed that little exception posted at the very end of that rule >< Sorry Pan *hugs* Forgive me?)

Shade floated over to Panther and looked at the unconsious dark type, wondering if maybe it was weaker then it looked.

Climbing down from his back, she nodded. "Fine fine, but I claim that spot on the way back down." She grumbled a little, then walked over to the Sneasel to check it over. "Looks like it's a pretty strong one. Shade, that punch must have been bloody awesome to have knocked it out so fast."
Nina scoffed and shuffled off; she wasn't wanting to be around all these idiots. Besides, she had her own concerning thoughts, like why she'd just jumped in front of the pokemon that was attacking someone she hated with a passion.

"Maybe it was a crtical hit. Drain punch only gives energy back to Shade. Of course fighting moves are strong against dark types, the whole point of course." panther got a stick and looked at the unconsious sneseal.
Shade ignored her sulking and waited while Panther watched the unconsious pokemon.

Watching as the Seasel as well, Kofuku sweatdroped. "I don't think it's going anywhere any time soon. Should we just tie it up and lock it in the car while we're gone?"
Nina found herself a comfortable spot under a bush and watched the human idiots and the Gengar. They all sickened her and she wanted to be back in her pokeball; at least there she wouldn't have to deal with them.

"And risk it waking up and chewing threw the seats? No way. besides I can carry it." he shruged and put his prize on his shoulder. Perhaps he was being a little more stuborn then usual, but sneasles weren't exactly an everyday occurance.

Kofuku stared at Ap for a moment, then shook her head. "You're going to throw your back out, and then I'm going to laugh at you and call you an old man." She chuckled a little more, then looked around for Nina. Spotting the cyndaquil under a bush, she gave a sigh and walked over, squatting down next to the pokemon. "Hey, I know you hate me, but I want you to know that I'm thankful you were here to save my sorry butt. I owe you, Nina"
The confused look that was on the pokemon's face when the human girl had left was priceless. Nina wasn't quite sure what was going on, but she had a suspicion that it involved drugs or something; humans were so stupid.
"Alright, Panther, I'm ready to keep moving!" Smiling brightly, Kofuku started up the incline. Something inside of her pushed for her to make a confrontation, but she pushed it back down, not ready.

"I'm not gonna throw my back out. And stick close, I have back up pokemon wise if nessisary." He started back up the incline, eyes out and ready to go.
Shade fallowed with a serious look on his face. Even if told to he would not attack the next one.

For what seemed like forever Kofuku walked in silence next to him, her thoughts racing. There seemed to be nothing out, and perhaps it was a calm before the storm; maybe the pokemon around them knew something was going to be changing soon in the weather. Either way, the silence was only causing Kofuku to become even more anxious. Without thinking, she brought her pinkie finger up and chewed softly on her nail; it was a nervous habit she'd developed years ago.
Nina followed behind them all once again, but watching her trainer carefully. She was still weirded out by why the girl had come over and 'thanked' her. "Freak...." she muttered under her breath.
