to jenx: thats not true--the part about no other forum doing it. the ccs guild and CLAMP lovers guild does it as well. also, i know the thing about asking first is annoying, but it sorta has to be done. plus, it shows who follows the rules and actually reads the stickies, and who doesnt. ...etc, etc. i dont feel like ranting at the moment. -sakura

Okee, I wasn't aware of theseother places that do it... But tell me why it needs to be done. I can't say anyone's explained that yet.

Because you're here. And you're talking. And it doesn't count as being adressed if no one gives me a reason that we need the rule. 3nodding

*sigh* What to say... You're such a great debater, Jenx! I was gone this weekend, just found this now, and I agree that waiting for thread approval is a hassel. You are right that it isn't effective, the fact that I have to be a sticky warden is evidence of that. It does give the guild an unfriendly atmosphere (yeah, unfriendly is a word).
I agree with you, but as I am not the Captain of the Tsubasa Guild, cannot change the rules without first consulting Yu Mutou-sama. If you wish to change the rule, please pm Yu Mutou and explain your view on the situation. -mokona

Awww... I was sorta hoping that I wouldn't have to PM her to get her to read it... I'm scared of authorities... sweatdrop Welllll, I guess it can't be helped. I'll do it tommorow. 3nodding And I think I might've said this alredy, but I don't remember, so... Your sticky warden thread is teh awesome. xd

I was just thinking. Should we get subforums? And have it broken down into:
1) RP threads 2) OOC threads 3) Character Threads
And so on? It'd be a hassle to do it, but definitely it'd clean up the home page and make things a little more obvious. Especially the giant caps saying, WANT TO MAKE A NEW THREAD? READ THIS FIRST.
Plus I understand it's a hassle, but it's hard to pick: unfriendly? Or mass repeat threads? Let's face it, 2 mods can't handle so many repeats. As to the fanfiction thing, I'm sure we could temporarily put up a fanfic thread for posting stories & writing, to keep it separate from the fanfic help thread.

I think that everything roleplay related could go into a sub forum, and possibly xxxHolic/CCS related threads into another, but just about everything else could stay in the main forum. I think it makes it easier to discuss things. -mokona

Mercury: In case you haven't noticed, we HAVE mass repeat threads. As I argued, the rule is ineffective. It's not a choice bwteen hostility and cleanliness because the hostile rule isn't making the main forum any less cluttered. And I actually asked for permission to make a fanfic thread once and was told that it'd be a repeat thread. sweatdrop If we do subforums, which I'm kinda nuetral on, maybe we could do one for fanstuff like fanart, fanfic, avatar edits, cosplay, etc, one subforum for Holic/CCS, one for RPs, and the main forum for everything else?

....*sigh* like always, i suck at debating. you win jenx. and when moko-chan talked to me about it on one of our PMs, i sorta agreed with her. all it makes me do is sorta hate people for not obeying the almighty stickes, and yeah, it really isnt effective at all. only a few old members ask. so...yeah. you won the debate, jenx-sama*waves a white flag* -sakura

Yeah...that IS true...about the ask thread not working as it is....If we got permission from Yu-san, we could pitch it to the winds and get some subforums. I like your idea for them sakura-san.

Subforums eih? That sounds like a good idea to me. With our current guild funds we could make up to 7 (almost eight), but I don't think that we need that many. I'd be happy to make them, I just need to know exactly what each one is going to be about. Anyone want to fill me in?
