"Your Lord plays a dangerous game, but I enjoy distractions from time to time. Unfortunately now is not one of those times. No doubt you will dash off once we are done and tell him about our conversation.. so tell him this. If I so much as think that he might be dipping his fingers into my pool, be it the estate or any other vested interest of mine. I will snuff him and his guild out of this plane and send it to Arborea for a visit with Corellon Larethian. I'm sure you'll all get warm welcomes there."
Having said his peace, Val'atar releases the spell and moves off, his cloak fluttering behind him as he walks away. With a casual stride, he turns at the next street and walks off towards another part of the vast under ground city.

"I don't think the lord will like this." Irrafay looked up at her brother tapping the stack of deeds with her finger. "These...well, if he doesn't like this he could have stopped me." Valdaer shook his head, set both of his hands on the desk and he leaned towards his sister, who sat on the other side. "We are now one of the large landowners in the city, just like a House or...or a...a large Merchants guild...which is great for our cover, but..." Irrafay chuckled leaning back in her seat raising a hand as if to brush aside his worry, "Its not just our cover. Its our base...Its our...Our scale. On one scale it covers our activities in both money and a...as a shield. On the other, it helps us gain more...we can expand, grow-" "Into a house." Valdaer spatted out, while his eyes flicked around and crossed his arms."As if he'll allow that. You know as well as that we're not going anywhere. He owns us." "He needs us...I'm sure he could boxes us in or tie our hands, probably even wipe us out with a flick of his hand. However before he does that he would need to find replacements. Replacements, I'm sure he doesn't have in his pocket. If he did, we would have run into them. And he probably wouldn't have asked us to do this, if he had several people in his pocket. If he did, he would made us a part of a larger network and told us not to open this place. I'm not even sure he knows how far we reach yet." Irrafay said leaning forward looking at her brother. Valdaer rolled his eyes, "He knows, trust me. He knows...why else did he begin those training sessions in our basement. I think we should back down. With the new land and investments we've made, he'll think we're trying to build something." Irrafay got up from her seat and went around the table. "We are building something. We're building a better network, one that even the Deghym would love. If he wants us to do this job correctly and reach as far as he wants us too, then he has to allow us some power. Even if it makes us look like a simple merchant and thief guild joined together." Valdaer didn't say anything he just looked at his sister, he was now slightly taller, but that didn't change anything. He still felt like he had when they 25, when Irrafay had planned their first act. Her look now was an older mimic of that younger face and he was ready to help. Just like before, just like always. They were going to topple the walls before them, just like they had brought an end to the heirs of the two of the powerful house, the ones that had killed their mother, it had been their first conquest. He smiled, "So, sister dear, where do go from here?" Irrafay smiled, eyes glowing, "We begin on the docks...there are...loss ties down there."

Irrafay smiled warmly at her newest ally. "I know that despite your most recent hardships that this agreement between us will assure the safety of your group and our continued group." The male on the other side of the desk smiled as well and bowed a little. "Yes...the tragedy we've face, won't last now. Now that we are under of the Lord's eyes." Irrafay stood saying, "I will be sure to send over the first few testers...I can't wait to have golems guarding our establishment and people. I know that your offer to re-work the Lord's golems if needed will be most welcomed." She gave a slight nod not taking her eyes off of him as her new ally bowed slightly, while under the table she pulled a cord ringing the bell outside. The two guards outside the double doors opened them to reveal a small shadowy form waiting behind them. Her new ally left as the form stepped forward. "Speak!," She ordered. The form nodded walking meekly towards the small center of the room table placing down a few papers. "We have received conformation. It appears that leader is being tracked." Irrafay didn't let affects of the news show, instead her purple eyes grew more intense, making the smaller male almost step backward only to stop and then stand his ground firmer. Good, he's getting some backbone. I just hope he doesn't to much of one. "Do you know who it is?" "No, ussta Jallil. We're still trying to find that out." The male bowed his head as if ashamed to be lacking that information. Which Irrafay personal agreed with. "Go out and find out." The male looked up and opened his mouth. Only to close it. She narrowed her eyes, "What is it?" "Ussta Jallil. Each time we send people out, they end up dead. It is why leader ask me to come here. We are sure we can find out who it is, but for now...we have postponed our search under leader's orders." Irrafay took a moment to digest the information and then nodded, "Fine if those are his orders follow them. They are sound enough. However if these tracker take any action against him, begin the search anew." "Yes, ussta Jallil" The male bowed and left the room. The doors closing behind him.
