Maya watched in silence. Being from Mist she knew what the Mizukage's intentions were, and also knew that he didn't want to her to heal them unless it was absolutely necessary. She remembered her Genin days, and the many times she was sent to the hospital because of vigorous training regimens.
However the genin did show some promise, whether they had planned to keep him at bay by one of them crossing the line or not, it was a decent idea. However, their movements and reaction speeds were still clumsy and slow at times, and she noted that. Moving from her current spot, Maya relocated, situating herself at a better observation point.
Not soon after relocating her attention was drawn to a figure in the sky drawing close to them at a high speed. She watched as it got closer until she could identify it is a dragon with someone on it's back. Holding back she was unsure if this was a threat to the Mizukage or not. Managing to catch fragments of the riders comments like "Uncle...ays..'re...a douche!" she held back. She would interfere only if it was absolutely necessary for her to, or if the Mizukage instructed her to do so.

Katsuko had been hearing about sightings of a beach full of black sand. This sounded much like her mothers technique and she feared that either she was fighting someone or someone was copying her mother. Knowing how much her mother disliked copy cats she went to investigate what was going on. That and she just couldnt pass up the chance to get in on some action. Drawing close enough to smell the scent of ocean she started into a run. Using that momentum she slammed the large gunblade she carried into the ground catapulting herself through the air.
However it seemed she had launched herself to high and was now in danger of hurting herself from the fall "crap crap crap CRAP CRAP! Somebody get in my waaay!" she called out as she was falling towards the black colored beach.

Yua sighed as she stood there she assumed the training was over, she started to relax when she heard someone yell from above them. Yua looked up to see a woman falling from above. The Natural reaction was to get out of the way but the huge cloud behind her kind of deterred her from that line of thinking. Yua decided instead to do something different she leaped up towards the girl. Yua smirked as she got closer and caught the girl in her arms. "Gotcha." Yua said as she let herself fall back towards the ground. As they fell Yua looked at the girl she had caught.
She wasn't bad looking cute figure, but what really caught Yua's eye was her odd sword. Yua had never seen anything like it, it looked like it had a shaft on it where one would load something to fire out. Then Yua snapped back and realized they where falling rather quickly. Yua twitched her fingers on her right hand and as they landed Yua was standing on top of her puppet a very large fat man shaped puppet, it was holding Yua in it's arms. It then placed her on the ground and Yua set down the girl she had caught. "Are you ok?" Was Yua first question as she leaned against her puppet looking the girl over and waiting for an answer.

Vyrin spun around at the sound of a girl screams, his eyebrow instantly raising up as he realized just exactly who it was. "Greeeat." He murmured to himself, not bothering to hide his annoyance. With a sigh, he returned his sword back into it's scroll and placed the dragon sword into a hidden scabbard in his jacket; he would let the blasted dragon out later. "Guess.... Yea." The boy said softly to Sorain in a sad tone. He had really wanted to have a nice training session or something with his Uncle, but something told him that was far from what would've happened if he stayed.
Sighing yet again, Vyrin made his way towards Katsuko, his face dark as his crimson eyes stared her down in the distance. "Thanks for the catch." Vyrin said shortly as he stared down his sister, "You ok? Yea, you're ok. Let's go~" He chimed out at the end, trying to pretend he wasn't annoyed as he gripped the girl by the ear and started to haul her off the beach. "What did dad say about using that damn thing as a toy, hunh? How many times are you going to do embarrassing things, aren't you supposed to be training for the exams? Shouldn't you BE on your WAY to the exams?" He asked in scorn.

"Ow! Hey I wasnt playing with it! I heard people talk about black sand and i thought mom might be fighting someone! It was the- ow! cmon! Stop that! Im sorry!" Katsuko said trying to reclaim her taken ear. "And Ive been training!" she said as a smile suddenly spread across her face. "And i can prove it if you dont believe me." she bodly stated as she gained a firmer grip on her gunblade. The Angel Version 2. Katsuko had come expecting to get a battle in and she was still itching for one. Though she was somewhat like her mother she had still inherited her fathers love for fighting and kicking a**. With that itch having not been scratched she was more energetic than normal

Erkamina sighed as the girl 'flew' into the area and landed in the arms of Yua, luckily. She then noticed that other character that tried to intervene earlier. "Who the heck invited these two, huh?" She said slyly as she looked at them both before looking at Yua. "Well? What's this about exams?" She said curiously, cocking her head sideways slightly to get a better grip on the situation. Wait, this was a beach right? Which meant there was water... Wasn't water her element? Did that mean she could use water as a weapon or what? She was so confused. She then noticed that the new girl was fingering a blade of a sword and she fingered her own knife just in case but she wasn't going to just fight for no reason, after all she was a whole lot smarter than she had been when she tried to run away, even if it was a product of adrenaline mixed with the now drying blood on her knees. It didn't even hurt really... Just stung like a bite or something, she was tougher than she looked and she had to be for her name's sake.

Erkamina saw a ship come into the area and a female steering it that sounded strange, like a sea-faring pirate more than a shinobi. She shrugged and slid toward the ship. She noticed the words 'transport' and 'chuunin exams' in there somewhere so she nodded and waved at the Mizukage jokingly before watching the plank lower to allow the genin to board. "A ship, very nice..." She said as she walked up the boarding implement and half-saluted the captain. "I'm ready. I want to show that big bad Chuunin exam who's boss. Let's set sail or whatever you normally say." She said quickly as she looked at the flags and the decorations. It screamed re-purposed pirate ship but she didn't care. All she cared about was proving herself.

Putting her foot down Katsuko came to an immediate halt at a sight. A large ship had just ported at the very beach on which they all stood. Katsuko stood in awe at the sight of the vessel. She had seen normal boats before but not a full blown decked out pirate ship. Though the one thing that surprised her the most was the ships captain being a woman. "Wooaa..." was all she could manage. This was going to transport them to the exams? "This...is...perfect!" Katsuko said with a laugh. In her opinion this was the best way to symbolize the Water Country without even having to do anything. It made them all stand out in comparison to the other countries without even trying.
Katsuko made a mad dash towards the ships gang plank dragging her brother Vyrin with her through the sand the whole way. She then came to an abrupt stop as she stood there waiting for the gang plank to be lowered with a cat like smile on her face. She was eager to meet the pirates and explore the ship.

Yua watched the mean new man pull the pretty girl aside and gripe at her Yua would have said something but she heard the word Father said and figured out it must have been a family affair and not her place to intervene, if she wanted to she had no time for at that moment there was the sound of the ship rocking it's way onto the sandy bank, Yua turned to awe at the ship and it's glory, it was an amazing ship great caliber and size and it's build was wonderful. Yua smirked as she watched Erkamina and Katsuko board the vessel. Yua smirked and hopped up on her puppet's shoulder and twisted her fingers making the puppet walk and make it's way up onto the gang plank and the deck of the ship.
Once Yua was on the deck she looked around she noticed the flag flying the mist symbol and felt some real pride being on this ship. She smiled as she looked around she still sat on her puppet's shoulder her leg's hanging down over it's side, her ankles crossed as she relaxed. She loved that Senkai was tall enough for her to rest on him like this, although she would not be showing up at the exams riding around on him, she would keep him hidden until she needed him. She secretly wished she had gotten to practice using him in battle before this but the first test run would have to wait for the exams. She was so excited she could hardly contain it. Yua also looked over Katsuko more, she had such a unique weapon and seemed like such a fun person Yua would have to make an effort to get to know her, she made Senkai walk over to Katsuko. "Thats one interesting weapon you've got there, also i do not believe we have met, I'm Yua. Yua Mizu, i don't believe i ever saw you at the academy."

Vyrin grumbled in a low tone as Yua and her puppet made their way over here. Just what he needed, some chick getting his sister all excited and crazed. Like she needed it, with all the flying around and crashing into people, and worse off dragging him through an entire beach. With a sigh, Vyrin turned his crimson eyes to look at Yua and then back to Katsuko, his elbow nudging her on the side to remind her that revealing too much about her weapon would reveal too much about Sai's own original, and that was a serious no no. "Control yourself, Nechan. I'll be in the cabins trying to get all this sand out of my clothes, no thanks to you." The boy sighed, before stalking off to remove the sand from his gear in the cabins below, after which he would stay there for the rest of the trip to the Exams.
