1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique? (unofficial stuff on the side like hobbies counts too. Don't be afraid to say you're just getting interested in writing if that is the case.) x3, I've posted a lot of Fanfictions on Fanfiction.net for some of my favorite mangas and things. Most of the feedback was positive and told me that I was doing a very good job. Also, my family and friends have read some of my original works and have told me that they are a very good start :3
2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here? Hmmm.... I'm not sure yet. I still have to explore :3 I joined at least four other guilds yesterday, too, so I might not be able to explore much today.
3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild? I want to be able to write and to be able to critique and help others improve their writing as well :3
4) Anything else you want us to know about you? XD, My name is Amber Lane, hee hee ^-^

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique?
I began constructing my writing skills at the tender age of eleven, when my sixth-grade adorned me with praise, referring to me as a 'prodigy' after having been evidently thoroughly impressed by what I believe to have been novel synopses. The years that followed were dedicated to improving my abilities. I'm responsible for a number of short stories. My less recent works have been subject to data-loss. I will, however, be posting some of my latest material. I'm an involved member of my school's writer society and, consequently, I have somewhat abundant experience as a literary critic.
2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?
The 'Original Thoughts and Stories' section is what interests me most. I revel at the opportunity to subject my work to the critique of other writers and look forward to placing my latest story on the 'chopping block.'
3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?
Whatever skills I might obtain as a result of participating in this guild will be integrated into my writing style and put to the best possible use I can make of them. I do not have intent to formulate a career out of story-writing. The foundation for my career as an English professor, however, has already been laid and the aforementioned skills would surely assist me in building my career from the ground up.
4) Anything else you want us to now about you?
I'm twenty years old, soon to be twenty-one. I have a career in mobile audio and electronics. I have a private marketing solutions business. I own a 2007 Corvette and participate in professional motor-racing. I'm the captain of 'The Gaian Driver' which is, as we enjoy saying, Gaia's largest and most exclusive automotive enthusiast group. If any of you have an interest in cars, please feel free to join.

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique? (unofficial stuff on the side like hobbies counts too. Don't be afraid to say you're just getting interested in writing if that is the case.) Well, I started a Harry Potter fanfic, and I have a pretty good idea for story, but that's it really.
2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here? I have no idea.
3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild? Write my story, and finish my fanfic. Maybe get my story published.
4) Anything else you want us to know about you? I'm short.

1) Well, I've only recently gotten into writing. It helps me to cope with tough times. I find that writing about something helps me to distance myself from a situation and deal with it better.
2) I very much look forward to posting some of my stuff and seeing what other people think of it. I think it's come a long way, but there's always room for improvement. It'll be nice to get some other people's takes on it.
3) I would settle for just being a better writer. It might come in handy sometime in the future, but I'm not really planning anything big.
4) I came from a uniform school. Uniforms SUCK! The intended purpose of a uniform is to make everything all better by dropping boudries and making everyone like eachother for who they really are, but NONE OF THAT WORKS! It's just the same as a normal school but worse because you can't choose an outfit to hide qualities about you that you don't like and show off qualities you do like. The effect is a ton of self concious and viscious teens. Not fun.
So most of my works will be about my experience in a uniform school. I'll take some artistic lisence here and there to improve the quality of the story now and then, but the main idea is true to my experience.

I'm Sing to the Stars. You can call me Sing or Stars.
1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique? (unofficial stuff on the side like hobbies counts too. Don't be afraid to say you're just getting interested in writing if that is the case.) Well, I write to stay sane. I mostly write poetry, so that's where you'll find my work.
2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here? I'll spend most time in the poetry section.
3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild? I hope to actually get critique on my writing. I can't seem to find it at other guilds. Third times a charm?
4) Anything else you want us to know about you? I'm young, so take that into consideration. =]

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique? As a writer, I've hardly had any "professional" experiences; I've written short stories and fanfiction, and roleplaying is something I do often. As far as critique is concerned... not much. I've critiqued people's fanfics and my friends' original stories, but it's not something I do often.
2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here? The Classroom subforum looks like a lot of fun! I love getting prompts and questions that help me develop my story in some way or another, so chances are I'll be there a lot. Otherwise, I think I'll be posting in the Original Thoughts and Stories subforum, as well as the Fan-Fictions section.
3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild? Ultimately, become a person who's worth reading the work of and get published. For now, I just want to hone my writing skills and imagination.
4) Anything else you want us to know about you? There's nothing I love more than creating stories, characters, and relationships, and developing them all until it becomes something I'm truly proud of. As such... I have too many story ideas to count. It doesn't help that I get inspired easily.

I don't think I have any official expertise, but does winning 1st place in U.I.L. twice in a row count? Anyways, I write a lot in my spare time, and as a critique...Well, everyone always wants me to proof-read their papers.
2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?
I'm not very sure about either of those yet. I haven't had much time to explore yet. (:
3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?
Well, I've known ever since seventh grade that I'm going to write a book someday...So, this could definitely help not only in the grammatical and literary fields, but in self-confidence, too.
4) Anything else you want us to know about you?
Uhm...My favorite color is yellow? ;D

I am part of the Literature staff of our school newspaper. My poems got to our paper even though I wasn't a part of it before, and I was really happy about that, since it was like a 5-minute piece. I also write fan fictions as a hobby.
2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?
The tips and advises from fellow writers. Basically, helping each other.
3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?
Write my own book! That is my dream.
4) Anything else you want us to know about you? My name is Jeanne. I love the idea of creating our own stories, because you'll never know that the message your story brings can change a reader's point of view.

I've written some poetry, fanfictions, and short stories. I like editing, though I haven't gotten a chance to do much lately.
2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?
Might come back and edit this after I do some exploring, but I'm thinking the Fanfiction section and the Poetry one.
3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?
Write a novel, though I don't know how much that will have to do with this guild.
4) Anything else you want us to know about you?
Call me Stars, Maystars, or really anything you can get out of my username. XP It's not that I can't stay on topic, it's just that the topic can't stay under me. Really.
