I'm gonna do another tournament shortly after WGUT is over...the cash prize will be awarded to the winner of each tournament.

I am gonna allow people to start posting their nominations for the 2010-2011 King of the Ring Tournament. reason: It's gonna take a lot of work for me to have this ready to go by September...

Changes for 2010

1) There will be 16 entrants instead of 8. The winner of the 2009 tournament will receive the Number 1 seed, and a bye to the Quarter-Final Round.

2) Each Round will have a time limit:

Qualifier matches will run for 4 weeks and will be beat the clock format. Meaning that the person that wins their match in the fewest number of posts will receive seed number 2 and so on and so forth.

Quarter-Final Matches will run for 6 weeks.

Semi-Final Matches will run for 6 weeks.

The King of the Ring Match will run for 8 weeks.

Please note- All matches other then the qualifier will be Traditional Rules matches

3) There will be invitations sent out to 30 people of mine and my crews choosing...these people will be paired up and will compete in the 15 qualifier matches for a spot in the tournament.



You may post nominations for me to consider when choosing the 30 people that will be allowed to compete. Please remember that this is not an open-admission tournament, nor is it just a title for a group of my friends. It is an honor extended to people that were chosen to compete because they are good at what they do. Each nominee will be researched before a decision is made and the list will be up shortly after the final round of last years tournament ends.

Nominate as many people as you think deserve a spot...the more names the better. I want to get a variety of people to choose from so I can come up with some interesting Qualifier matches

...everyone has to start somewhere, my early promos and matches were crap...and gradually improved to crap that doesn't stink. rofl

@Angel: Yeah but apparently people wanted me in it, else they wouldn't have voted me in. I might have been a 'spot filler' but thats only because I didn't sign up to start with.
