Destiny reared and kicked out with his legs at Sammy. He tried to yank his head free and let out another cry of fear.
From her stall Madi neighed for Destiny and kicked the now closed door. What were these poeple doing to her foal?
Solace backed away from the girl. Where was Eric? Or Alex? He didn't trust this girl.

Sammy lept out of the way from Destiney's kick, but still kept a firm hold on the harness, "Whoa Destony. Calm down. It's okay. I'm not goting to hurt you. I'm just going to take you back to your stall. You can trust me, calm down sweetie."

Destiny lashed out again and yanked back hard. He almost tumbled over but kept his balance. He twisted around and kicked out with his back legs.

Sammy held tight onto Destiny's harness, she glanced back at the people who just stood behind her, "Anyone want to lend a hand!?" She hissed at them. Normally, she wouldn't ask for help, but she hated seeing Destiny act like this. However, it was necessary for the horse, he had to get used to it eventually, and now was better than later, when he was an adult with a lot more power in his legs. "Whoa! Destiny. Calm Destiny, Shh....... Shhhh....... It's okay sweetie. I'm not going to hurt you!"

Destiny reared and then bite Sammy in the fingers to try and get ehr to let go.

Sammy let go of the harness with one hand and shook out her fingers, Destiny's bit hadn't been hard, but it did still hurt, however, she still held on with the other, "Dammit Destiny, can't you cooperate a little. For Madi, c'mon, just come back with me into your stall, and everthing will be good. Then I'll take off the nasty harness-" Sammy almost added "for now", but she didn't want to aggravate the colt anymore. Than she had an idea. Sammy pulled from her pocket three sugar cubes. She held them just out of reach of the foal. "C'mon Destiny, you'll get the nice sugar cubes if you settle down."

Destiny sniffed the treats but snorted and reared again. His small milk teeth couldn't eat them. He was only born a week ago! Humans were stupid at times!

Sammy realized it was a stupid attempt, seeing as the colt was so young. She had finally regained feeling in the fingers Destiny had bitten and grabbed the harness with both hands. What could she do to bribe him? Sammy got another idea, that might be more efficient. She moved as close as she could to the foal and slowly moved her hands down to the tightening clip. "I'll take it off if you calm down." She tried again. To show her offer was genuin, she lossened the harness slightly, but not enough for Destiny to escape.

Destiny calmed and bit and stood still. But his legs were far behind him and his neck stretched out as afar as it could go. He was ready to jump if she tried anything.

Lgan walked into the stables still shirtless and jacketless like at the lake. He wet over to Bear and started lightly petting his muzzle.

Sammy realized that her idea was working. Slowly, she lossened it just a bit more, still not enough for Destiny to escape however. "Would you like to go back to your mommy now?" She asked quietly, and ssothingly.

Sammy realized that Destiny was still going to be difficult, "What would you like then? Here, let me loosen it a bit more, and then you'll go back into your stall, 'k? But I'll take you out later, after dinner, and you won't have to deal with the nasty harness, 'k?"
