Kenta turned and looked at the girl. He looked deep into her eyes but not in a manner that was obvious. He shrugged, "You won't let me tell you that I wont accept it will you?" He sighed. Then thought about things for a moment then smiled a little, "I guess I could use the rest in my own room for a change. If it means that much to you that is." He said looking at her for a bit. Waiting for a response.

~Demetri Saxtreise Demetri was surprised by his response, but just grinned and nodded. "I really wouldn't," she said, tilting her head and staring back at him. "Do you mind if I grab a book and start now?" She wondered how he had expected her to react, based on his own reaction, but she ignored the small curiousity- a rare occasion.
As she waited for his answer, her eyes wandered to one of the books she was holding. Secrets of the Forest. She had grown up in the forest, and doubted the human writer knew any actual secrets, but it did catch her interest. Maybe it would be worth her time.

Kenta shrugged, "Yeah go ahead." He went into the library himself. He grabbed a book that was actually not finished. He was writing it. It's title was The Forests True Face. He sat in a chair and pried the book open and set himself in a position to continue writing it.

~Demetri Saxtreise Glancing at the boy and quickly hiding the fact that she was impressed with a passive look, Demetri read the title of another book she held- Myths of the Forest Dwellers- and wandered downstairs. First looking around with a sigh and a smile, she plopped down in one of the living chairs and opened the book of myths- much more interesting than a human's so-called secrets, she was sure. The chair felt odd, in an interesting, exciting way. After all, it was still alive!
This will turn out well, the girl thought as she looked over the table of contents. A place to stay, and all I have to do is guard the place. Stopping intruders sounds like fun anyway, and it'll keep me on my toes. With a lopsided smile, she turned to a page towards the end of the book and dove in, the world disappearing around her.

Kenta had written for a few hours then let the book open to dry the ink. He stretched and went to bed.

~Demetri Saxtreise Demetri sighed as she closed the worn book. She had just meant to read a few stories out of it, but ended up reading the entire thing, her interest taking her long into the night. I've been starved of reading material, she thought with a grin. It's about time I came across someone with a library.
As she set the book aside, she looked over at the staircase. She had heard Kenta go to bed hours ago. I could go take a peek at that book of his... she considered the possibility for only a moment before deciding against it. He's been kind enough to give you a place to stay, and the least you can do is ask before you go invading his privacy. It was a tempting idea, though. Maybe tomorrow, she would ask...
With another sigh, she slouched in the chair and tilted her head back, eyes closed. As much as she wanted to go to sleep, she was determined to keep alert, listening intently to the sounds of the night. But it couldn't hurt to close her eyes for a moment, just rest...

 Lenny's eyes where lit with a flame. It may have been night time but his fist clenched and his Greek armor and weaponry, shining upon him. He was standing in an epic position. He viewed himself like the child hero of every situation no matter what it be. He was one of the most determined youngsters known. 15 years old yet he acted younger at times. It was basically cause of his element but also his own belief system. He figured an old friend he hadn't seen in a few years would be beaming to see him again. In his mind this meant Kenta would be wide awake for him to waltz in and hug him. Now after his mind had processed itself even though someone from behind would see him in the epic picture of standing so the head was visibly at the peak of the roof and his feet on the ground.
He dashes forward and grabs the handle turning it. Then when it being locked didn't open he struggled with it making it click a few times. Cursing under his breath he went to the window which he found conveniently popped open as if it where broken. He slid in rolled along the floor and stood in a titanic pose with both his hands up in the air and both his feet solidly planted as if to say TA DA. Yet he said nothing. It was dark.

~Demetri Saxtreise "Unless you have a good reason for being here, I suggest you run."
She had been listening from the moment he tried to open the door- sharp senses were a good quality for a guard. As she listened, her eyes had remained closed, and she had shown no sign of consciousness.
Silently she stood up and stretched, arms held high over her head. Then, with a slight smile and a shake of the head, she walked over to the boy, calm as ever. "That show of yours was a bit overdramatic, don't you think?"

Lenny looked at Demetri and paused. "ugh... Kenta." He paused as if disgusted by something, "I knew you liked girls and well you always where kinda odd. but... I NEVER THOUGHT YOU WOULD CHANGE YOURSELF.." He stepped back and fell into a chair by accident sitting in it. He seemed revolted. The person had told him about the shop owner living alone. He hadn't seen Kenta in a few years so it wasn't like things couldn't happen. This was only the weirdest thing he had even thought of. Kenta seemed like a straight kind of guy. His mind was whirling.

~Demetri Saxtreise Demetri gave the boy a strange, curious look. "Kenta? He's upstairs," she said with an amused smile. "I'm Demetri." She held her hand out about halfway, but stopped and crossed her arms. This boy may have known the shopkeeper, but that didn't mean he was a friend.
Bending low until her face was level with his, she tilted her head and offered a friendly smile. "Now, why exactly are you here? I'd like to know, in case Kenta wouldn't like me pinning you to the ground." It crossed her mind that she should have done that as soon as he came in, but she would mentally scold herself for being so trusting later.

 Lenny stood up again and took her hand letting her do most of the shaking. The didn't really do that where he was from but whatever. Now it all made sense and he blushed a little. He looked her over a little. He had on his back a phalanx pike and a greek war shield. On his belt was a gladius. He was a guy down to the bone, "haha I don't think you could do that anyway. So um how do you know Kenta? I haven't exactly seen him in a few years." He said looking around the shop and away from her. Likely a mistake he would soon regret. They where the same age so he wasn't entirely brilliant.

~Demetri Saxtreise "Oh, really?"
The moment he looked away he was on his back, Demetri's knee on his chest, pinning him down. "Silly boy," she teased, playfully flicking him on the nose. A grin on her face- that move was always fun- she stood up and held out a hand.
"I've only just met him today. I'm guarding his shop as long as he'll have me," she answered. "And I'd like to point out that you still haven't told me why you're here."{{ Hope you don't mind if that move worked on him. I can change it if you do. }}

 OOC: Don't worry I was intending on something like that. BIC:
Lenny was on his back pinned. He couldn't even move his arms cause they where pinned. No girl had ever done this to him. He was looking up at her face. She flicked his nose and such but he was in shock. He felt heat go into his cheeks. What was going on. It took him a minute to register what had just happened and that she was standing offering him a hand. He took it carefully not knowing what she would do next. "Well i.. Uh.. mm. yeah." His brain was whirling and now he could fully see the girl in the moons light. What was wrong with him? He couldn't even talk. His cheeks where still red although in the dark that was probably hard to see.

~Demetri Saxtreise Demetri laughed- the boy's shock made it all the more fun. "Well then, I'm assuming you came to see Kenta. Do you want to wait down here until morning, or do you want to wake him up?" She paused, studying him for a moment. He seemed frozen, and even in the dark she could tell his face was red. She almost laughed again, but just smiled softly and sat down. He's kinda cute when he blushes.
"Oh, one more thing," she added, looking up at him. "Your name?"{{ Ah, I thought so, but I just wanted to make sure. ^^ }}

 Lenny's ears wiggled slightly. He was shocked but he woke when she asked his name. He coughed, "You tackled me pretty hard there." His excuse was lame but he had almost no experience with girls. His entire life had been working with his magic and training in phalanx tactics. Then the event occurred the school was burned down and he was on his own. "My name is Lenny, Greek Fire wielding Fox boy. Don't you forget it..." He said proudly then her other question hit him. "Well if he's sleeping then it would probably be better to leave him. Besides a heard of elephants couldn't wake that guy." He blushed a little again, "What's yours?" His voice quieted a little he felt embarrassed. He didn't know how to act. He had never met someone he liked. But here she was smack dab in front of his face. He wasn't sure what to do.
