Kilik nodded, feeling delighted at the brilliantly smile he spotted, then the blush. "Ah-aaaah! That's it! That's it! Stay like that!" He grabbed his pad and pencil then started drawing Aaron lickety-split. Short minutes later, he was done. "This is what I was looking for...absolutely beautiful." He looked up at Aaron with a smiled. "This is worth five lessons alone! See?" He showed Arron the drawing. "You're very beautiful, Aaron. Just believe in yourself."

Kilik felt a bit down when Aaron went into the gardens. Then he looked up at Sebastien. "Guess he'll take some warming up."

Sebastien nodded his head, then looked at the watch on his wrist. "Master, if I may interject, it's almost time for your meeting with Lord Reginald about selling one of your art pieces."

Kilik blinked in confusion, then gasped. That's right! Thanks for reminding me, Sebastien. I'll get ready right away!"

Marie took what was left of the food and returned to the kitchen.

Kilik was currently sitting in the room where he held most of his meetings. The table was of the long dining style. A few minutes after he had taken his seat, Sebastien escorted Lord Reginald in and announced his arrival. Thus, they began to conduct business.

Marie was standing guard outside the room to report anything strange and to make sure there would be no interruptions.

Marie turned her nose up at Aaron. She still did not like her master's interest in the boy. "He's currently conducting business. Whatever it is, you'll have to wait!"

Marie narrowed her eyes at Aaron briefly. "Master is a busy man. Who knows when he'll get the message." She watched the boy walk off. She continued to stand guard at the door until Sebastien knocked to be let out. After propping the door open, she bowed to Lord Reginald as he left, escorted by Sebastien to the door. Then she perked up at seeing Kilik. "Lord Kilik! Business went well like always, correct?"

Kilik smiled and nodded at Marie. "Yep. Lord Reginald also bought the one I drew of you last time, as well. So, thanks for the good work!"

Marie giggled, her feathers ruffling in joy. But she toned it down a bit at Sebastien's return.

Sebastien glanced at Marie briefly, then looked at Kilik. "Master, I do believe there is a high chance of you having a...'guest' in your room. Should you not be so busy as to attend to them.

Marie froze a bit as she realized the Sebastien must've been on stand-by, near enough to the door, to hear the small exchange between her and Aaron.

Kilik blinked in surprise and then smiled. "Oh! Well...I better go to them then..." He walked up the stairs to his room.

Once Kilik was out of ear-shot, she turned on Marie. "Sebastien! Don't tell me you don't mind sharing the Master with that...that...boy!?"

Sebastien blinked. "Whom Master decides to spend time with is nothing for me to be upset over. Rather, I serve him and delight in him during the time that I do have with him. And besides...he likes me more than you. I'm his first servant and the Head Butler. No matter whom he takes a fancy in, I get the most time with him...at night." He added that last part just to mess with Marie as he went to go check the mail and see the gardener about a change in flora.

Marie was about to head upstairs and peak on- I mean, monitor her Master's actions around the boy. But then she happened to look up at the time and realized it would be time for lunch soon. So she headed to the kitchen to prepare than, whilst Sebastien was in the garden.

Kilik chuckled, slightly shaking his head. "It's fine." He stared at the drawing Aaron had handed him. It wasn't anything like what he drew and yet...it touched a part of him that made him want to embrace the boy. Of course, he didn't do this and simply smiled. "I'm happy to have received a gift from you, Aaron. Though, I advise you not to fall asleep here again. If Sebastien caught you sleeping here, he'd bark at you about having messed up the sheets he so pristinely smoothed out. Ah, but I'll take the blame for it this time. I often deliberately mess them up for the hell of messing with him." He chuckled again and settled for rubbing the top of Aaron's head.

Kilik smirked. "That's not necessary. I was about to lay down for a spell anyway." He set the drawings down on his bedside table. "Not everyone can draw as I do, but everyone puts something different into what they draw. No two drawings look the same. The emotions, intentions, time of day, day of the week, the weather... All these things help determine how a picture comes out. Thus, your drawing is precious to me, whether it was a masterpiece or not. That you even drew one up for me, is enough to make me happy."

He then sat on the edge of his bed. "Oh...and I might as well tell you about the system we have going here." He laid upon his back, leisurely. I draw pictures of both Marie and Sebastien. My customers come in and buy those pictures. At the end of each transaction, 70% goes to me and the house, 20% goes the corresponding servant, and the remaining 10% goes to the church as is proper. Ah, but if it's tax month, then another 10% goes to that and leaves me with 60%." He looked at Aaron. "But as I'm sure you've noticed, I don't do a lot of shopping so the money just...agglomerated naturally. But, anyways...that same system can be extended to you if you plan to stay here over a long term..." He trailed off, waiting for Aaron's reaction.
