{{Rofl, I'm not sure who named that skill, but it should really be called something else. An armor skill is really much more akin to something that protects close to the body, but this skill creates a sphere of protection with a 5m (or 15 feet) radius. That's more of a barrier then an armor.}}

As the beast leaped towards Misuki, she was able to get it up just in time before the manticore was within the outer range of the technique. As it collided with the wind shield, it swiped it's claws and was sent flying backwards about 5ft, but Misuki felt a rather large push even through the shield, which sent a scrape across her arms and made her fall backwards and lose the technique. Getting up off the ground, the manticore shook it's head, ridding itself of the confusion from the last blow and roared menacingly at Misuki before picking up speed off the snow as it lunged at her again while she was still down.

Just as it was about to come within range however, Axel's chakram flew across the field, spinning wildly with a loud whirring sound as it struck the beast directly across the face sending it really backwards as it gained a large gash from the attack and collapsed to the ground. With a bit of whimpering, the creature nuzzled it's wound into the snow before it's eyes grew enraged and it stood back up, roaring ferociously at Axel as it charged him once again, pouncing into the air to grapple his chest with it's sharpened claws, hoping to push him down and rip it's teeth into his neck.

After the beast had ripped a slice through the boy's chest, it landed to the ground only to hear the clanging of metal above it's head as Misuki and Axel's attacks had tragically and accidentally cancelled each other out. Each attack had been sorely miscalculated and executed and as a resulted happened to both collide mid-flight, causing what would have been lethal damage to the beast to be an embarrassing display of projectile failure. {{...and it's all caught on tape!}}

Smelling the flow of blood from Axel's chest, the manticore hungered for more as it continued it's assault, dashing forward in the snow covered field as it leapt again, opening it's jaw wide at another attempt to bite into Axel's deliciously meaty flesh.

Determined to make up for earlier botched attack Misuki doesn't allow the failed attack to damper her spirits as she quickly performed a sound jutsu whch deafened the manticore's hearing. Quickly following this, as it had no warning of her approach, the manticore suddenly felt the two kunai Misuki had unleashed dig into it's hind legs as it tripped, falling in the snow as it turned over, only to be struck in it's frotn legs with the shuriken as well as a whimper of pain left the beast which laid on the ground in front of Axel, it's belly completely exposed as it found itself incapacitated from the INCREDIBLY WELL PERFORMED PROJECTILE ATTACKS. {{Feel better? heart }}
