Good job with your newly updated profile. (I just looked at it.) I am sorry that you feel stereotyped. It isn't intentional, it is just that Rping is full of stereotyping and I didn't really understand what you means by the one word 'vampire'. To make it clear for anyone else, you might want to add into your profile how you are defining vampire. Again, sorry that you were offended. I hope you chose to stay with this guild. Once we are both genin, could we battle some time? smile

Ok I'm going to put my foot down here... NO VAMPIRES unless you get special permission from an admin like myself or Death to be one
Frankly a properly Vampire would make for very sucky ninja simply since they wouldn't be able to operate during the day most of the time since they wouldn't be able to stand direct sunlight(Sorry but Twilight doesn't count as REAL Vampires)
Keep in mind if you are serious about being a Vampire you'd going to have to at least have a few of the standard weaknesses that go with it.
Like no reflections in mirrior's and inability to cross moving water.
Frankly it's better to take up a couple Vampire like traits like sucking blood rather then be a Vampire outright since it's less of a headache all around.

What sort of Vampires aren't affected by sunlight?
If you want to be a Vampire at least bloody do it right.
Sorry but No daywalkers allowed since that's all the benefits that come with being a Vampire with almost none of the curse.
I don't care what your "source" is of how you believe Vampires to be. As a policy maker here it's my decision to go by the general mythology on how they work here.
Being a Vampire could be a very very broken thing to be considering what some of their powers sometimes are so as an Admin If I allow you to be one I've got to make damn sure it's balanced out so things are fair to everyone.
If you don't like it either suck it up (har har) and go with the guidelines in which being a vampire will be allowed or get out. This is a NINJA rpg first and foremost so you should be grateful we're willing to allow something so fringe in the first place since it's really out of place.

You now what, Im sorry. I thought this guild was going to accept me. Just because Im diffrent doesnt mean anything. The original mythology of vampires have CHANGED. But you know what? If your gonna be like this I will find a diffrent guild. I am really sad that you would not even give my character a bloody chance okay?! So im done hearing this crap about my ORIGINAL character. I am going to edit out my bio, then I ask you delete it as I will quit this guild. Im sorry to anyone who looked forward to me, and sorry for apparently this damn inconvince caused because some people hate originallity. GOOD BYE

You're the one who said your character was based at least partly off television. That doesn't sound that terribly original to me.
In any case while I do generally encourage originality this is a Ninja rpg first and formost so if we're going to stick something distinctly non ninjalike into it then don't expect it not to be heavily scrutinized.
IF a Vampire character is going to be allowed then I want to make sure what exactly makes it a Vampire in the first place is well defined. What it's characteristics are, what makes it a Vampire an not just a dude with an obsession with drinking blood. What it's strengths and weaknesses are.
Something as vauge as "Immune to elements" Is simply not going to fly.
If you've been thought 7 guilds now who each have an issue with the concept you're trying out perhaps it's because their is an issue with the concept itself rather then the guilds.
And ix_laced_xi if you thought that was rude then you really don't want to see me when I'm pissed off. FYI an authority figure saying that they are putting their foot down is NOT rude.

Did you ever read any of the other profiles? You can't change the original mythology of vampires. The most well known myths and the stereotype vampires from them will always be thought of first when someone says vampire. And arguing with the important people... not a good idea.

Oh well, some people don't know how to change.
I could see a vampire as an event enemy, that would be interesting, but not a fellow shinobi.
Speaking of events, I have like two coming up but we need to finish the Chuunin Exams first. I'm going to head over to the exam review thread to go over a few more questions, all are welcome.

What amazes me is the fact that he seemed to blame the guilds he had tried for not letting him use the character, rather then the design of the character itself...
