Following her up the ridge without a word, he felt the ache of his muscles, but pressed on regardless. If anything, he would merely be sore and stiff for a while, but it was nothing new to Ripa. Continuously, he watched Coro's movements. Fortunately for him, he didn't blink when he saw her stumble for only a brief second. He made no mention of it, but put the moose down as where she requested, moving off slightly. "I'm not picky as to which I receive. You choose the one you want. I can tell you the bull is more tender and juicy." he had a hard time keeping a straight face at saying any of that, but he somehow managed.

"Juicy hmmm?" The feline vixen couldn't hold a straight face as a devious smirk stretched over her lips, tail flicking in excitement. "I believe I had quite a juicy meal last night....so I will take the buck." She said with a wink, moving over and sunk her claws into the buck with a purr of delight.
Quickly tucking her pained leg up on her chest to avoid putting too much pressure she leaned down and grabbed a chunk of the flesh and with a quick jerk tore the flesh from its torso. Putting her paw back down she began to feast; tail thrashing behind her as her wings arched in primal instinct to keep her meal her own. Although she knew she had little to worry about with Arbiter around...some things just couldn't be shaken.

He chuckled deeply for a moment at the thought. But said nothing more after that, knowing full well they were both hungry.
He waited for her to dig into her own moose before sizing his up. There was no easy way for him to rip the flesh from bone. Not with his teeth. They were strong, but thin... not meant for tearing. His front claws were no better, so he used the only thing he could, the energy sword. Pulling the handle from it's magnetic plate, he quickly activated it, and sliced a hunk of flesh from the beasts leg, quickly putting it to his gaping jaws and swallowing whole like a snake. He procedded to continue this form of dining until he would strip the tender muscle from it's base. He cared not for organs, bone and flesh

Corosina continued to eat in silence, never being one to usually stop half way through anything unless dire. The beast was half gone by the time the demoness felt woozy from a overindulged bliss. Forgetting for a moment that Ripa was near, she visibly limped to the side before dropping herself to the ground as she tried to regain her barrings with a satisfied sigh.
Proceeding to clean her paws and muzzle with her tongue, her tail curled around herself and wings pressed firmly along her back. Finally tossing a glance to Ripa as he finished his meal, her eyes danced with a mysterious glint to them. "Good...?" Was the simple inquiry, still removing the blood from her body.

As he was finishing up, he watched as she walked...rather limped over to a nice spot to clean herself. His eyes flashed a bit and he smirked slightly, knowing he had finally caught her.
"Done something to your shoulder have you? I was wondering when you would let your guard down" he said calmly as he shook the blood from his blade and dispersed the energy to form the normal looking hilt once again.

Her expression snapped to one of a borderline horror/shock that she had dropped her guard that much in a moment of delirious bliss....mentally cursing herself for allowing such a slip up. Being around this male was dangerous, for never had she made such a vital mistake to compromise her abilities. "Don't fool yourself sugar, I'm fine...minor slip and clip from that bull there."
"It takes much more than a little throb to make this feline a docile helpless kitten." She added, and turned her head away to keep licking at her paws; trying to hide her embarrassment and wounded pride. It wasn't that she couldn't say for certain she was still concerned for her life around Ripa....yet on how she was concerned for her own self preservation instinct was a whole other story. Tossing her eyes down to the ground a moment, she wondered why she still continued to stay...while everything about this all told her to flee.

In his defense he bowed his head slightly, still keeping a watchful eye on her. "Forgive me. T'was not my place to ruffle your fur." he said in an apologetic tone. He raised his head back up and walked away from his past meal, sitting at the edge of the ridge and looking over the land, soon lying down and resting his head on his paws. He figured she would want some privacy to compose herself, but he was still alert to her presence and was thus indicated by the direction of is ears; inside facing her

What was this now? Watching as the beast was all but polite and dignified she was blown away....perhaps her still suspisious assumptions were wrong? She did suppose there was a magnitude of times where he would have attacked....especially with her guard falling numerous times now. Folding her ears back as she was still shaken by these strange emotions and desires clawing at her soul....she knew as much as she wanted to leave her paws wouldn't let her.
Noticing right away he was still keeping tabs on her by the direction of his ears...how cute. Did he still have concerns about her? Heaving her body up onto her paws the vixen slowly padded to his current position and shook her hair out from its holdings, settling down against his side. Snaking her tail around his hips she flicked her tuff of fur along the opposite side; a deep rumbling purr arising from her chest as she continued to clean her paws...opting to let her actions relay there were no hard feelings.

Hearing her sudden movement, caused him to raise his head and look behind him to see what was going on. Soon he felt the warmth of her body next to his and the vibrations of her purring. He nodded and put his head back down, feeling satisfied in where she is.
He thought for a moment or two he drifted off to sleep, when in reality he was just blankly staring at the landscape visible through the thick foliage.

Content with her sleeping companion next to her, she continued to clean till there was not a drop of blood left on her silken pelt. It was nice to be full in so many ways, a sensation she'd not felt for far, far too long. Letting out a soft blissful sigh, she allowed her own acid hued orbs scan over the peaceful morning landscape. It was strange what one could see when they weren't looking for anything in specific.
Moving to lie her head down along his strong shoulders, her long ears perked back up and twitched amongst her mass of ivory locks. Looking around to try and pinpoint what she heard to see if she was just imagining things; it was then she caught it. Immediately snapping to an upright positon despite her pained wobble; a feral and very angered growl brewed in her throat like an oncoming eruption. Flaring her wings wide as her posture took on a turn for the worst, she wasted no time in leaping off the ridge in a short free fall as she glided across the lands they had come from....listening to the distant cries of animals and following.

Suddenly feeling his companion's presence vanish, he broke from his nap and raised his head, soon standing and wondering which way she went to. "Coro..." he was cut off by the sounds of animal cries. Instinctively he crouched down, he waited for a sign or something before preparing to attack

Flapping her wings hard, her ears swiveled to catch that sound once more; her heart racing. Come on, cry you little brats! Frantic, the vixen stopped in mid flight when she finally heard if and dove into the forest. Landing on her hind legs in an anthromorphed position to save her shoulder, her eyes narrowed as she saw what she had feared. A pack of six wolves had decided to pick out the orphaned cougar cubs....a very poor choice for the wolves.
Yet it wasn't until she saw the bloody and limp body of one cub in the jaws of the mongrels mouth that something dark snapped in the female; letting out the roar of a vixen scorned. Without a second thought she ran towards the wolves and took down the one which held the kitling; easily dwarfing the wolf with her impressive stature and slammed its head to the ground. Lashing down to sink her jaws around its furry throat she could feel the crushing of bones and his windpipe, the cub dropping to the ground in a heap. Snarling as another bit down on her tail she turned with claws out, slashing the other across the face with a feral rumble of her throat.

Hearing the howling of wolves, Ripa loosened his muscles knowing she could handle herself if that was the case, but hearing the loud roar made his ears flatten as he took off into the forest to find her, soon finding the scene unfolding before him with the deadly tiger demoness easily killing the small pack of wolves.
"What the?" he murmured to himself. He decided it best to stay out of her wrath and watch from the bushes, feeling a bit confused at her sudden anger towards wolves

Wasting not a moment to pin down the wolf which had taken a bite on her tail, she crushed its ribs and tore into its throat in a killing blow. Her rage held no bounds, and even as the final two tried to escape and caught one before it escaped and grabbed it by the scruff; having enough height on the beast to slam it to the ground before like the rest met a torturous demise at her claws. Panting softly as her muscles shook in a tremor, her bloodied body turned to look back to the cubs as she knew Arbiter was close.
The two other cougar cubs had crawled from their small burrow beside the tree, sniffing and mewing at their fallen sibling. Already Corosina knew that she had been too late, limping over from the stain on her quads. Lowering her head she nosed the tiny corpse, flicking her ear to the saddened coo's of the remaining cubs. Damnit... She thought bitterly, watching as the siblings tried to cuddle but she let out a low growl, snapping at the cubs till they retreated to their burrow. Grabbing the cub on her jaws she kept her stance as tall and proud as could be as she left the bloodbath and headed to the nearby river...preparing herself to answer if he decided to follow and inquire.

Curling up on the rock he once stood on, he watched as she continued to slaughter the wolves. All while she did, he only saw a younger himself killing humans who opposed him during the Covenant human war.
As she picked up the fallen cub, he noticed she was heading his way. As she passed, he didn't budge from his spot, but rather watched as she walked by. No questions to ask at all. He understood in some aspects....some anyway.
