@Morgey: Invader Zim is amazing and I shall only tempt you more to add it to your list! <3

@JK: I think Xmen Evolution is all on Youtube though... like, legally and everything. XD

Oh yea it is, and actually it had it's own site or something like that, which was better quality, been awhile since I've been on there. I'm just a collector. I rarely buy things like clothes, shoes, purses and other "girl" type things, so I supplement my feminine need to spend with books and videos ^_~.

Oh... well I suppose I'm the same way then. XD I know I could watch all of the anime I own online, but... but some of it I just... need, you know? I wasn't soooo into Xmen Evo though that I would buy DVDs unless I found them for a really good price; just like it enough to want to finish the series online, as I never saw all the episodes on TV.

It's one of my favorite cartoons, granted I could probably count all the cartoons I'd say I ever really liked on my hands, so that still doesn't really say that I like it an extrodinarily high amount. However unlike South Park which I will buy eventually, or Rocket Power which I'd probably pay ridiculous prices for, I too won't buy it unless I can find it relatively cheap. I don't want to own it that much.

Hmm...cartoons:

South Park - Rocket Power - Invader Zim - Xmen Evo - Recess - Kim Possible (yea yea) - Ah Real Monsters - Smurfs (hehe)

I've watched lots of other cartoons, but liked? Idk...Gummy Bears maybe, but I think that's because for some reason my dad liked them so much. I think I tend to attach to things of his since I can't ever really connect to him. I feel like in my life there had to be other cartoons I liked enough to list them, but hmm...I'll have to think. I guess if I wanna go back into pre-K days, Gnomes. hehe, but I only know from being told I loved that show, not actual memory of it. That's TOO young.

I WATCHED ALL OF INVADER ZIM STUFF SO CAN'T BE TEMPTED NO MORE, AND THIS REALLY HAPPENED REALLY, BELIEVE IT.

Also, I don't think I've ever watched an episode of the Smurfs. This is strange.
PostPosted: Fri Feb 26, 2010 5:18 pm

Did you really? I'm suspicious...what did you think? I'm going to quiz you, whose Dwicky? Whose Gaz? Whose Ms. Bitters? Name Zim's internal organ system, who leads the Irks?! Test!! Omg I so wanna make at test now!!! Somewhere I have the career day test from the show. Not a very good test though.

I don't think it's that weird, I dunno, I mean I loved it and it was my favorite show but it never struck me as something widely popular. Or maybe I'm just being possessive and thinking it's mine...I mean it is mine. ninja

@JK: I'm a cartoon fanatic; that's practically all I ever watch on TV. Favorite ones though from ever would probably be: Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Teen Titans, Invader Zim, The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, Chowder, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Making Fiends, Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, The Angry Beavers, Hey Arnold!, Doug, Catdog, and Jackie Chan Adventures. I think XMen Evolution and Wolverine and the XMen would also be up there if I had managed to see more episodes. I'd say the first four are my absolute favorites though.

@Morgey: Seriously? XD Or are you just messing with us?

@JK: I wanna answer the quiz but I don't wanna give the answers away to Morgey! D:
I didn't watch much Smurfs, but I'm pretty sure it's insanely popular. XD;;
PostPosted: Fri Feb 26, 2010 11:27 pm

I love Making Fiends, but as I watched it years ago when it was only an online series, I don't think of it as a cartoon. I never saw more than an episode or two of most of what you listed. Hey Arnold needs to go on my list, like I said, I knew there was others. Cat Dog disgusted me, I watched TONS of Doug but I far from love it, go figure. I also never got into Avatar, though I want to. I'm feeling iffy about the movie, I mean everything I know about Avatar and everything I know about Shaymalan, like what?!? Plus I got into a discussion with Meg today on that and racebending (with the casting)...btw, on a side note, trying to persuade her to poke back into the roleplay. We shall see though. I tried!! Power Puff girls were cute, but never really my thing.

HAHA, if she can't answer you can answer them, but those were TOO ridiculously easy, just a test of if someone actually watched the show or not. I'm going to have to think of a harder quiz for you.

I figure it's popular, just not, like to the insane level that EVERYONE would have seen it.

You know what I like, Care Bears...I have no idea what to classify that as though, I pretty much mean the movies when I say that. I watched the camp movie and the one with the magician kid again a couple years ago and it made me so ridiculously happy...~_~.

Oh but on the point of cartoon fanatic, yea, I barely watch them anymore (save for rewatching things like IZ and RP), South Park is the only cartoon I still follow. Though in general I've been cutting down on TV quite a lot.

I hadn't heard of Making Fiends online, so got into it through the cartoon first. I did watch all the web episodes though. ^^ They remind me of Elphaba and Galinda. (might've already said that to you before) Mm, Hey Arnold! was awesome. <3 I wonder why they never play it anymore? You even get the occasional reruns of Angry Beavers and such on Nicktoons TV. Well... at least the last time I saw it on a couple years ago. XD;; But yeah, I don't have high hopes for the Avatar movie. The racebending makes me exceptionally sad. Yay, I hope she shows up again! =D
True, true. XD
Well, even though I never watched a channel that showed Smurfs regularly, and even though I didn't care for it, I still saw at least a good five episodes, and I know a lot about it through popular culture. So I'm not so sure. XD
I think I only ever saw one of the Care Bears movie... I think the one about the magician. I don't really remember it, but Care Bears scared the hell out of me when I was little.
Yeah, I think a lot of our generation has been cutting down on TV. I don't even follow any shows anymore; I pretty much just watch half an hour to an hour of TV as something to do when I eat, and that's usually only once or twice a week, when I'm in the mood for it. So I usually watch Misadventures of Flapjack, Chowder, Spongebob, or Grim Adventures during those times. Don't keep up completely with those shows, but sometimes I'll happen to see reruns, sometimes I'll happen to catch new episodes.

My friend sent me to big bunny, so it was only by random chance I stumbled across it myself, it was rather well hidden, though Nick found it huh? Which is good, they are awesome, and yea they kinda do and yes you've said that.

I think they'll replay Hey Arnold on the OTHER Nick channel (it's something like 216 here, it's not in your basic cable package though), but that's such a hassle. Yea, Helga was my favorite character, she's such an IDIOT, but I loved her, haha. I also really liked Phoebe too. Actually, I think one of the great things about Hey Arnold, is that it's one of the few shows where I actually like most of the female characters. Not the biggest fan of Rhonda, but that's about it.

Yea, the movie makes me kind of happy I never got into the show (at least yet), because I bet it's going to be very painful for true friends. I do think the guy playing Sokka's hot, though hate his hair in this movie.

I shall hope so too, she's in Turlock now so let's see if she remembers when she gets home, haha.

Maybe, I mean it's known for sure, I just don't think of it as the biggest thing, idk, I guess it's just at that age you don't really socialize about TV as much so you don't really notice interets, save for via lunchboxes ^_~.

HAHA! That's so cute, you should watch that camp one. Idk, I have a soft spot for Care Bears, I totally get how they could be scary though. I tended to like creepy things though. Jareth from Labyrinth was my first love, Secret of Nimh was one of my favorite movies. I have friends who are still too scared to watch that, which I find hilarious.

Yea, most shows are just turning into such overdramatic soap operas, it's really annoying. And then shows keep getting cancelled and they are never finaled well, and that's just a turn off. I don't want to get invested in something and chance that it won't ever get a good end.

Ah, right then. XD
Do you have Cox Digital? If so, then it would be 216 for me as well. I'll have to check it out. My favorite characters were Helga and Phoebe as well. =) I was also quite fond of Jerald.
Ahah, perhaps you should see the movies first, then watch the show after that, so you can have everything become way better instead of way worse. XD
We must remind her!
Perhaps. XD
Nah, I loved creepy stuff when I was little. Nightmare Before Christmas and Labyrinth were two of my favorite movies, and I always wanted to watch them when no one else did. I was just scared by stupid things like Care Bears and Clifford.
And how!
PostPosted: Mon Mar 01, 2010 6:22 pm

Never even heard of Cox Digial, haha. As far as I'm aware, your only choices in California are Comcast or Charter or AT&T...anyhow we have Comcast.

That's my plan exactly ^_~.

Gerald was also an awesome character, and I had a soft spot for Sid for some reason. I've liked pretty much every Sid I've ever known/known of, fictional or otherwise, but I really don't like that name.

Indeed we must.

HAHAHA, Clifford. I can totally see how Care Bears could be creepy though, especially since the movies had creepy tones. I mean the camp one was all about magic and evil as well. Magic and evil seems to be a big Care Bear theme. Clifford though? Nah, you're on you're own defending that one, hahaha.

Deeeelicious.

Quote:
who leads the Irks?!

The tallest of the Irkens are made leaders of the empire. They host major events such as the Great Assigning and the Planetary Sweeps, but they usually just get pampered and spoiled like Siamese cats.

The current Tallest, Red and Purple, spend most of their time eating snacks, but previous Tallest were most likely more productive. The Tallest looses loses his or her position as the leader of the empire when another Irken gets taller than them or they die. Former Tallest Miyuki accidentally died at the hands of Zim's creation (a giant blob). Later, Tallest Spork died due to the same beast. When Spork died, Red and Purple were still too small to be Tallest, so it is unknown who else was Tallest before them.

Red and Purple are both Tallest because they are exactly the same height. Red and Purple have custom colorized suits that match their eye color. The Tallest have hover belts equipped in their suits, allowing them to float around. The Tallest also have only 2 fingers. It is apparently cut off in a ritual to become the Tallest, in order to show that they can rule the Empire with only two fingers (this was apparently stated by the Zim crew).

Haha, I was about to say ah she is full of it and then you go write that essay on the tallest. I mean you could have looked all that up, but even so I'd give you credit for that. I mean information is information...^_~. You are aware of the Zims now razz .

Because it is? Idk...can't find where I spouted that one word.

You bet your bum I can have it, MINE!
