I got attacked by a goose when I was 3. GEESE ARE EVIL (though tasty)!!! And not cute, like goats *shakes head*.
Although it wasn't until my senior year of college, when I encountered my first rooster, that I discovered what the truly feared birds are. I mean I totally understand now how a bird could be considered a protection against foxes and stuff. I mean I always thought "what the heck farmers, you just have a rooster to protect the chickens?" But seeing one, in protect mode, omg, yes they most definitely could take down a fox. Probably a pack. That's just scary! SCARY!!! *has nightmares about roosters*.
Exactly...poor lil goats crying .

I think geese are quite cute, and pretty as well. Far too cute and pretty to match their personalities. XD
Really, roosters are that scary? I've seen tons and tons of roosters (we surprisingly have a lot of farmland in Arizona), and they always just act like chickens, except with the occasional crowing. One was even so friendly with me once he let me hold and pet him. X3

I associate them with devils spawn, so, maybe? I'm not a big bird (as in avid fan, and not a big yellow muppet ^_~) person though. I do have an INSANE love for ducks though, you have no idea.
Hmm...that is odd. But yea, when they go into defensive mode, CRAZY! I felt no shame in running away. They are huge and mean!!

@JK: Aww, I absolutely loooove birds. <3 The other day at school, there was this little weird kind of bird I had never seen before sitting on a sign, and it let me come close enough to it to get a decent-looking picture with a camera phone. That's pretty close. o.o Probably the closest I've ever been to a little bird without special circumstances surrounding it.
Aww, I think roosters are quite lovable. <3
@Shizuka: Yeah, it's a relatively new thread, and never worry about interrupting conversations. XD The more the merrier.
Even if your first choice is predictable, you're forgiven because it is such an awesome first choice.

@Shizuka - I didn't think your choice was predictable at all, I had NO idea whatsoever, I mean there isn't an indicator about you to make that obvious to me razz .
@Kits - roosters are EVIL!!! And yea birds poop too much, they can fly so they can poop on you, they make unattractive noises, and they smell bad. I do like ducks, hummingbirds, quails, peacocks and owls. I LOVE owls, more than ducks. They are my favorite. I think that's mostly it though, there might be another exception or two. I don't hate hawks or eagles, but I can't say I like/love them.
Anyhow I do prefer them out in the wild (well, outside in your case) then in confined spaces, so that's neat.

(Sorry if I misuderstood your comment, I've been up since 4:30 AM and it's now 10:16 PM...I've spent the most of the day in the hospital in Dublin....I wanna sleep, but I still have homework to do...Agggghh...; A ; )

On the topic of birds, I almost had my ear taken off by a pigeon in Dublin's main train station this morning...those things are far too quiet! *twitches* Oh well, at least it didn't poop on me. .___.;;
Why didn't I do my homework on Sunday?! Why am I such a lazy a**?! D;

@JK: Birds don't poop nearly as much as rodents, from my experience. Though I love rodents too... And I love their squawks. They're adorable, and many are pretty. And only birds I've noticed that smell bad are water ones like ducks. o.o
My favorite birds are grackles, or any other type of big black bird. Just the way they squawk and walk around and act so high and mighty... <3 Also love all of the birds you do, as well as ostriches and emus, tropical birds, chickens and other fowl, eagles and hawks and such, vultures... okay, so pretty much any bird, really. XD;; Except guinea fowl. Those things are mean. And pigeons and doves aren't really my favorite, but they're fun to chase.
@Shizuka: Why are you in the hospital? D:
A-and how did a pigeon almost take your ear off?!
No worries about whining though. XD
