Could you please call them aircraft instead of airplanes... planes are for kids, aircraft are for those who like to bomb and kill things.
It would be like calling a naval ship a boat.

I call naval ships boats. whee
I use several variations of the same primary definition through different words to enhance my writing and make it appear less repetitive.
If all I said was "That is awesome, those awesome planes need to awesomely fly off the awesome ramp" it would be less descriptive and more repetitive.
So, get your birds in the air plz! blaugh

Well the guy in the thing using tanks isn't really using tanks... he doesn't know how to use tanks. He's basically going to have to go infantry for the time being. xp

Well, what would you have in mind? The only designation would be like M- something.
We have the M1 series, and I have a group of tanks that are the M2 series. So, I'd suppose it would be a group of M-95's? Not really a tank designation imo.
So what would it be. eek
Idk to be honest.

Mothanius Alright, well this battle seems to be fought on the ground solely so far. But I need to know a more logistical view on this.
The Army strike force is hopefully outnumbered, and hopelessly outgunned. We could easily have several F-15Es fly in extremely high altitude to drop JDAMs upon request. They could easily fly above the range of conventional AA emplacements, and the only problem would be fighter interceptors. The F-35s could easily be countered with an escort flight who could at least keep the enemy busy as they have a limited amount of ATA missiles. There should be members in the Airforce who would be more than happy to fly aircraft.
Also, not to mention that we could launch cruise missiles from our naval fleet. Also, since they are still close to the shore line, the battleships, destroyers, and cruisers could barage the enemy with conventional artillery fire. I'm guessing we don't have the tech for a rail gun yet, but if we did, battleships would be equipped with those.
Supply seems to be an issue as well. I saw that it was already discussed to resupply after every engagement, however, that in itself would take too long an allow the enemy to counter attack. We need to keep them on their toes to allow the army to live.
What I personally suggest, is a more secret-ops entry into the base and take out the radar. Once the radar is taken out, B-2 and B-52 bombers can come by and to sweeps on the enemy while F-16CJs and F-15Es could take out the enemy SAM and AA sites. Followed up behind them, AH-64 and other combat support craft such as the A-10C could support the ground invasion.
I know that we are already landing, however, a forward base isn't a bad idea. While the army squads on the ground hold a forward base to prep a landing point for the main body, the navy and airforce could support their defenses. At this time, the spec-ops could do their best to take out the radar.
Or, just do it the ol' fashion way of the military. Bomb the crap out of them with cruise missiles, taking out their radar/commmand and then following up with aircraft to take out the rest of their defenses and soften them so that the army and marines can charge right on through and decimate the enemy and capture the base. I have a strange sense of dejavu.

You know what, becuase this a magical la-la land, I send 9000 B-2's armed with 16 nuclear <********> missiles over the island (The B-2's piloted by edward cullen's) and then they blow up the entire base.
Two weeks of planning the entire event gone. Despite the fact that this would cost over 100 trillion dollars to do, we still found a way to do it. Wonderful.
Gee, that was fun. I guess there's no reason to even have a guild anymore.
Sorry guys, the event and reason for the guild was ended becuase one of our units had 9000 B-2's and a bajillion nuclear cruise missiles shoved up his a** THIS WHOLE TIME. I guess we should go somewhere else. Oh well.
Do you get the picture?
Seriously, do I have to do that to drive the point home? whee
Or did you get it a long time ago?
I really hope you did.
