Night 1, Midnight Patrol. And so, my first hour of duty has begun. All's silent on the home front. The clocks have struck their midnight tunes, and I lay in silence, listening to the house settle. Everyone else is asleep. Not a sound has been heard out of the ordinary. My territory is well stocked. There are flashlights stared in opportune places around the house. Plenty of ammo is kept in handy niches throughout the many rooms I must patrol. I will report again, with any news.

M!dori Good evening night patrol!Makes me think of snow patrol....Anyways. Yea. Do people actually wear sleeping caps? I've never in my life worn one, so I was wondering if I should put a shower cap on my avatar instead. =A=;; I 'unno if people really wear sleeping caps these days. This calls for research! ^.^ @ Gabrielle - You're so prepared! Does your house usually turn into a battleground in the middle of the night? xD

@Lover: Actually, it very well could. I do have flashlights hidden in my house, in easy reach if I need them. There are so many piles of stuff and crinkly things that could be traps and alarms if someone were to break in. And We have some very vocal guardbirds that make extremely loud sounds whenever someone walks into the living room. As well as the throwables that are always in reach, I am proud to have a very fortified home. My dog and I stand guard every night. Though, I do have to wake up early this morning. My pets may have to take a few extra shifts on guard duty this night.

I have definitely come home in the morning to find that I left my door unlocked the night before. More than once. xD I do have throwables within reach of my bed, though, but that comes more from me being a lazy a** who doesn't like to clean off her nightstand very often than out of a genuine security concern. It still counts, though!

Dystopian: Ohh, research~ What hast thou foundeth? Well, sleeping caps were invented in the Middle Ages for night wear because, since people wore a lot of wigs and had very little hair then, their heads were cold at night. They didn't want to wear the wigs at night because their wigs collected lice. Also, the main population group that uses sleeping caps today is people with hair loss. xD Don't you just love Wikipedia? I know I do.

Jer0nim0: xD That's amusing, omnomnomg Aww, that's super cute a name. And you're Filipino? That's cool~ My friend is too, but she speaks Visayan and not Tagalog.
Dys: .__.; Wow. That's almost too much information. You sure our avatars have to have a sleeping cap to join the night patrol?
