 Vane held onto Lucant. "I wont hurt you. Calm down." He rubbed small circles on his back. "Calm down or I will have to knock you out again." He said in his ear. "I would not have heal yo if I was gonna hurt you."

 Lucant still couldn't bring himself to trust the other again, for the past year his life had been filled with these mind games. This wasn't the first time someone had been brought in toheal him just so the tortures could start anew with a blank slate. his eyes fell on the man that was standing near the door and he wondered wha tortures one with so much power could inflict. he quickly forced his mind from such thoughts, knowing they would only lead to madness. he closed his eyes and went limp, giving in to whatever theynhad planned since there was nothing he could do to stop them.

Vane sighed and moved tro put Lucant in bed. "I wont hurt you." He put him back down on the bed and started healing him again. "Hey will you leave." He asked the guy by the door as he healed Lucant.

((sorry i was waiting for Crystal to reply)) Lucant closed his eyes, turning his face away. he didn't want to see what they had planned for him, it would just make him panic and give them what they wanted. he wished that he could have seen his parents one more time, even if they had been fake, it felt real enough to take away the pain for a little bit

((OMFG. I sincerely apologize for my absence...those who read my recent posts in other rps will know that i am without internet access at home...so it is unintentional. We will likely not have internet for another month or so.... I will try getting to internet cafe's as much as possible.))

~* Come with me children *~  Mikha sighed a bit sadly at the sight of Lucants reaction to him. He should have known the boy would be traumatized by him. He had only visited the boy about thirty times while they had him, and he was known to be vicious with his 'toys', and the boy would need time to get over it if he ever did.
He let the other pull him out of the room and into one nearby. "What is it you have to say? If it is a lecture, please don't waste your breath. I know that I will have to work hard to prove my good intentions and change of heart." He smiled, but it held sadness.
It had actually been a rather tough decision for him to betray his father like that. He was throwing away his birthright, to his younger brother who was worse than their father when it came to torturing light creatures. ~* Into the world of darkness and magic *~

 It seemed that he was the one getting a lecture. He crossed his arms over his chest as he silently listened. With a small nod he let his arms fall to his side as he leaned against a nearby wall. "Please remember that if you do betray those of the light it will also be my head that is in trouble. And my people." Soft green eyes looked through the veil to the vampire. "I beg you not to disappoint me and destroy the trust I have put in you."
He reached out slender, pale fingers and gently brushed them against an even paler cheek. "I know it will be hard for you to transition from the dark to the light. If you need some one to listen or understand, I am always available. I won't be leaving for a couple of days anyway." He removed his hand from Mikha and went to the window of the room, which looked down on a brightly lit courtyard. Flowers swayed in an imaginary breeze, their bright colors like pastel. That wind swirled up from the ground and through the window, rustling Rhan's veil. A small smile spread over his lips.
What was he to do now? He wanted to find the King (for rather obvious reasons), but unfortunately the man was busy with other things. Not to mention it was a bit awkward having the queen know about it. Maybe he should go back to the room where the young vampire and their son were, but he couldn't handle being around that strange person. He chewed on his lower lip, a hip cocked. Maybe he should go into the courtyard below and spend some time in the fresh air. Rooms and walls and castle made him uncomfortable. He was happier in the outside world.

 Feton was going to check on Lucant when he thought he smelled Rhan. he smiled and followed the scent until he came across his friend and the vampire prince, Mikha. "Afternoon." he said, walking into the room and smiling easily at the pair, "I was on my way to see if Lucant was awake when i scented you, i hope i'm not interupting anything."

Vane soon got done healing Lucant. "I need some food." He stood up only to get dizzy and fall to the ground. He held his head where it had hit. "Ow! Pain." He moaned.

 Tao Yan didn't move an inch from where he stood, but he did suppress his energies even more. Silently he watched as the vampire healed a terrified prince of the light. When Vane fell, Ran Tao moved swiftly to assist him. Ran Tao placed a hand on the boys head where he'd injured himself and sent out some energy in a gentle wave to relieve the pain.
"Is that Better?" He asked softly, appearance changing to a dark-haired, pale-skinned, pale-eyed young man. His Light side had fully come out while he healed Vane. "Shall I accompany you to the dining area?" He asked, voice surprisingly soft for the appearance of his 'light' side.

Lucant slowly opened one eye and studied the two men in the room. They seemed to have forgotten him and he took the only chance he might have while still fully healed and not yet chained down. he jumped off the bed and was running down the hallway in and instant. his eyes widened slightly as he thought he recondised the palace where he'd lived before, but he wasn't sure he could trust what he saw. he kept running, his feet carrying him subconciously to his old room. he'd slammed the door behind himself before he realised where he was and when he opened his eyes he stilled. Everything was exactly as he had left it. He felt his eyes widen in shock and he slowly stepped forward, looking at his old tresures and for the first time, felt he might truely be home. ((XD don't worry, he'll come back you to play soon enough))

As he was healed he looked at the other boy. "Yes thank you." He said blushing softly. As Lucant made a run for it Vane got up to follow only to run into the closed door.

[ A little while later Lucant came out of his room. he looked into Vane's eyes and smiled, nodding his head. He knew he was home, there wasn't a doubt in his mind. he walked forward and gently placed a hand on Vane's shoulder, squeezing it to show his thanks
