Ikugami hadn't noticed the presence of another spirit nearby until he was only a few feet away from it, mainly because he wasn't paying much attention to anything around him. He didn't hear what Yasahii previously said but only continued on his way. He determined the spirit to be the zanpakuto of the tenth division captain based on the reiatsu. "Hello, Kai's Zanpakuto," he said nonchalantly as he passed by her without stopping or at least looking at her. He wasn't the type who was very fond of fighting because he considered it to be a waste of effort, time, and energy. There was no point in doing so, unless if it was to protect one's life. Even if he did hear what she said, he would have ignored it anyway and would not have considered it as an invitation to a battle. "Goodbye." He maintained his slow pace as he walked down the same path, still without a definite destination or purpose. His back slouched as he went on and his already slow pace grew even slower.

Ryu frowned, and used Odori once more. It was getting easier for him to read her moves now, he was paying attention to her clothes. He couldn't see her arms or legs, but the clothes moved as they did. He appeared a bit behind her, "As you wish then..." He pulled out his blade, "Dance..." The blade let out a small flash of pink, and then split. Rya, I'll let you handle this.... Coward. Ryu's eyes flashed green, and a smirk appeared on his face. "Good, Good. Time to play." He cracked his neck with one swift move and thought for a moment. "You will, of course, be a tricky opponent... With the whole gravity thing you can do." He waved his hand in the air, as if this was just some magic trick she could do. He twiddled his weapons and observed her.

"You are fast, but there's a weakness to Shunpo, and your technique, which I have heard is similar to Shunpo. Long strides... are far more subject to the force of gravity than just walking." As her hair floated upwards, she released some of her Reiatsu, then increased the pull of gravity in the earth around them. "Such is the weakness of not constantly having something beneath your feet." She though to herself, already knowing that Shunpo would be harder to do while under the effects of higher gravity. Not just because the affected would be heavier, but because with Shunpo or forms of movement similar to it, long strides were harder to do when there was more weight, making it roughly twice as hard to move. On his left and right, Jūshin created two repelling fields to crush his body together. Finally turning around, Jūshin looked to Ryu to see how he fared.

Yasashii

Yasahii speechless, instantly turned around , her hair moving so elegantly, as her eyes followed the man, watching the man so intently, as he walked away, ignoring her, as if irrelevant. He showed no intent to fight, he had displayed no sign of threat to her, why!? Yasahii asked herself, angered the man had walked away, not interest in battle, which Yasahii craved for.

Allowing the man to slip away for a slight second, Yasahii pondered into thoughts. Lifting her head up, showing power, she spoke, angered he'd walked away." Hmpf...Zique's Zanpakuto, his old Captain. Don't look as strong as what he foretold to me, or what I felt in battle...hmmmm...what a waste, same for Zique...Oh, and goodbye. " Yasahii said, showing anger, as she turned back around walking away forward, as she built up a strong amount of wind, allowing it to all force out, as it traveled towards Ikugami in the small pathway, destroying the very ground, and walls it passed, plummeting Ikugami so violently.
PostPosted: Sat Jan 23, 2010 1:07 pm

Yasahii's words did not reach his ears as he continued to tread on. Ikugami was never good in listening, nor did he prefer talking to people that much. Most of the time, sound would enter from one ear and escape from the other. Yasahii's cheap words were usually used by weaklings who do not believe in their strength or were too scared to fight and so they provoke the opposing party, in hopes of disrupting their concentration which will affect their performance in a fight. Unfortunately, this kind of shabby trick had no effect on Ikugami. Being a master in wind manipulation, Yasahii's signs of anger only diverted away from Ikugami, without him showing any effort in doing so. "I wonder why I was released... Or maybe how, together with the others..." He started to ponder on this, only to be lost in the middle of thinking and end up just staring into nothingness. This was the reason why he never thought about things too much and that he doesn't really care about it anyway. This attitude of his is why he would not be recognized to be the zanpakuto spirit of a captain if ever he crossed paths with a low-leveled Shinigami. His "will to fight", as the others call it, has died down through the years because of severe laziness and a few other reasons.

[Ikugami is just too lazy to start a fight. But that doesn't mean he won't though.]

Ryu felt the increase in gravity, but shook his head. "Ma'am.." His eyes turned blue once more, "Odori, the move I use, is called Odori for a reason." He put his right hand palm facing the girl, and traced a symbol on his hand. "Odori," he traced the symbol once more, "Means dance." He smiled at her, showing perfect straight white teeth, "Dance, as I'm more than sure you know, is the act of fluid movements. My Odori is the use of a mixture of long and short steps, mainly short steps to be truthful... Well I guess it depends on the distance I need to move." He thought for a moment, "Think of it as using Shunpo to move short distances over and over... or something like that."

"Again, you miss the point. Dancing is no different, it is also quick movement and will tire you faster than running. It may be useful for you, but it is no more than a nuisance for this fight. Anything but simply running on the ground and you are pretty much doomed. Why don't you try dashing?" As Ryu had not moved, there was no reason that her fields were not crushing him between. She turned completely, and walked towards him, channeling gravity's power into her fist, which she then proceeded to slam into his face without so much as giving him a means to defend as it would be harder for him to move.

Taitei Hakkotsu

Datenshi felt a small perk in Rei's reiatsu, a very subtle one, as she used her blizzard technique. He found it odd that it was black, but soon found the reason for it, there was zero visibility for about 3-5 feet around him. It varied with the spots around him. He let a breath out, the cool steam forming from his breath floating away with the wind of the blizzard. He shivered and lifted his right hand to his upper left arm. This weather is cold and brutal with vision...I'll have to figure this out carefully...For a safety precaution, Nomu. A few pin-point portals opened around him, circling. They were blind until he himself knew what was going to happen.

Datenshi knew she had to be close and soon felt something his his cheek. The cut wasn't deep, but it was thin. He soon got hit with a few more before he realized that she was using the blizzard as means of attack; upon that very moment Datenshi was over whelmed from all sides. He placed his arms around his head, commanding his Nomu attack to guard him, they wouldn't get all of them, but they alone could form large enough portals to swallow most of the attacks coming. Now that the onslaught was lessened, he could pay attention. He looked around, not really to see anything, but as a safety precaution he did to be sure. He opened a portal behind his body and it slammed shut behind him. He appeared 40 feet from Rei's left side when he felt her reitsu pour over the area. His eyes slowly began to drop from the feeling of it. He rubbed them and shook his head before letting out enough reiatsu out onto the area to counter its effects. He didn't want to over power hers for he knew she must have high reserves of it.

He lifted arms to a defensive position as his Nomu Portals that he opened moved over to him to defend him if she used the same attack again. He was not about to attack blindly in a storm of this sort, it was too risky and a high waste of reiryoku to do so. He licked his lips to moisten them and took a breath. "You are right," He called out, unknowing if she could her him or not,"This will be a battle of stamina. I just hope I don't fall behind, being that you are who you are...a healer. A mass of reiryoku just waiting to be used... We shall see, if you don't pour out to fast." You really need to think this one through. Take in all variables...she can easily kill you. Hehehehe. Saddening. Quiet Tsuchi! I can't think all that well with your constant annoying reminders of the obvious in my damn head!

Rei looked at Datenshi in her peripheral and smirked. "Don't hope, you will." A thin line appeared in the water from her to Datenshi as the water began to converged on this line and sliced upwards, attempting to cut Datenshi in half, right up the middle. However, as she did this, she faded from sight, and reappeared above Datenshi, slamming her heel down upon his head as the water sliced upwards. As she controlled it, she wasn't too worried about the water wave coming upwards.

Ryu sighed, and his eyes turned green once more. "b***h," He put his blades up in time to block the blow, but it sent him flying backwards. Before his back hit the wall, he turned and leveled himself parallel to the ground and landed on the side of the building, attempting to bound of and land safely feet away. He stumbled a bit, still getting used to the weight. "So, you can play around with gravity... does that mean you can make it so there is no gravity? I've always wanted to fly." He smiled playfully, And placed his blades at his side, pointing upwards along his arms. He knew he would still be able to move using Odori, but it would take a lot more effort - and energy - to do so. He would only use it if he needed it, and that meant he had limited abilities in his ShiKai form. He let out a sigh, his brother was the form of BanKai, and he was not going to use him to win this battle. "Fine, we'll play it your way... for now." He took off the cloak--like-fabric that surrounded his body, and threw it off to the side. It normally would have fluttered in the breeze, but instead it fell blankly to the ground. His body was now overly exposed, a few pieces of fabric covering his groin and a belt slung across his waist. His feet were not covered in shoes, just like Tao's. His body was a form of perfection, but that was because he was truly a dragon.

[[I'm debating on if Ryu is going to be gay like Tao... I'm not sure just yet. Most likely. I was going to have him hit on her biggrin ]]

Yasashii

Yasashii humming slowly walked away, her footsteps clanking, trailing into the distance as she fed out a new opponent, not second guessing her power, and capabilities. For she knew she was a master at it, and over the centuries as a child she crafted that skill, training day after day in Kai's sword, with hopes of surpassing toughs' of her mother's, Shina-To-Be, the goddess of wind. Due to this she knew the man would devour, vanishing into the wind, becoming apart of her. She was, and knew she was the best there is, ''period.'' However hearing the sound of the mans voice, exit her ear, made her want to test her strength, and battle Ikugami.

" So you survived? "
She asked, turning around, as her hair rotated along side her body beautifully. " Hmpf...shall we test that strength? " She asked, hoping Ikugami wouldn't decline on her proposal of battle. For if he did, it would reflect his entire being, and ultimately his wielders...Zique .

The thought of someone worried about her made her smile faintly, as she nods slowly, wisps of scarlet hair billowing as though her hair itself were flames. "Nothing someone from Division 5 coldn't handle!" Puffing out her chest, her eyes fills up with pride, before large clashes of reiatsu reminded her of their current situation.

"If this keeps up, at this rate, this will be a all out war Namihime-sama..." Looking around, she could feel the threat of an invisible force lurk closer urning to her superior, she waits obiendiantly. Be it Master or Spirit, they were part of 5th division, which entitles them to listen to the Captain, be it his Zanpakutou or him.

The feeling that not enough destruction was occurring washed over Kagezume who was currently occupying the 5th Division Captain's office in his absence. Feet propped up on the captain's desk and leaning back in his chair, Kagezume stared at the opposite wall as thoughts raced through his head. After several minutes, Kagezume rose out of his chair and made towards the door, using Shunpo to make to the top of the building after he had finally exited. Looking across the Seireitei that he could see, Kagezume frowned. "I'll rebuild it in my favor, when I take over." Kagezume's finger reformed as the Kuromijin that were eating a hole in the Sekkiseki barrier were attracted back to his body. With the foreign substance gone, the barrier quickly closed itself back up.

Once more, Kagezume's body dissipated as his body broke down on the atomic level and quickly consumed the building he was standing on in a matter of seconds before moving on to the next. Building by building he would raze the Seireitei, sending all of the matter he consumed into his Dimension where he would later retrieve it to rebuild the Seireitei in his image. It would also serve as a counter measure in the event that he lost. A final blow to the residents, because he would not give it back, and they would be left with no where to live and nothing to make more buildings with. Food would be gone and they would be forced into the Rukongai to simply survive. Within 20 minutes, Kagezume had erased a fifth of the Seireitei and was currently nearing the 12th Division Labs. Without so much as a warning, a Garganta ripped across the expanse, sucked Kagezume in, and spat him out of another Garganta that appeared on the other side.

Though he couldn't physically look back as he was no more than a cloud of atoms, Kagezume turned his sense to the labs and inwardly shrugged then spoke aloud, letting his voice echo across the sky. "Leave it to him to take such precautions." What had happened was that sensing atoms that surrounded the Labs had felt Kagezume's presence, relayed that to the main computer which then opened the one-way Garganta that it used for defense. These sensing atoms surrounded the labs in a sort of dense bubble and eating them would do nothing for him, because the atoms themselves didn't open the Garganta and he would never be able to get close enough to the main computer. Constantly trying to eat them was out of the question as they seem to be made over again. Focusing carefully, for the briefest of seconds, the ethereal bubble that surrounded the labs became apparent. It seemed that as soon as he had left the building once, he was unable to get back in. He would have to find a different method of entering that was more suitable. With a sigh, Kagezume went back to the next building and took that out in a matter of seconds. He was steadily making his way in a loop back towards what was left of the 5th Division area.

Meanwhile, in the 5th Division Archives which was the little bit of the 5th that was left, Kagayaki was standing in front of a panel and rapidly typing in a series of commands into as she was being shot at by a small, ceiling-mounted turret. However, as she was the living essence and embodiment of light, these attacks were going through her body, making slight ripples in her body that formed over quickly. The passage behind her was filled with the acrid smell of burning metal and plastic. Sparks were flying from equipment that was meant to stop her from advancing further. Some of the equipment had been melted, twisted and were still dripping metals onto the floor. Some of the equipment was full of holes that were glowing red around the edges. The rest of the equipment was sliced apart and these cuts were also glowing red around the edges as it what had cut them had been very hot. Finally, the door in front of her slid open and by pointing her finger at the panel, she bore a hole into the middle of it with a light beam from her finger. Inside, Kagayaki was looking at stacks and stacks of documents as well as various objects she spent a few minutes looking about before finding what she was looking for; up-to-date documents on all the Gotei 13. Grabbing these and tucking them under her arm, Kagayaki strode out of the room, down the corridor and exited the building as the room she had been in caught on fire.

Looking skyward as darkness passed over her, Kagayaki breathed in the night air and began to make for the 4th Division Barracks where she abruptly appeared in front of Namihime and Tenka, holding the documents aloft wondering if the spirits were aware of the importance they held for their masters. Bowing slightly to them, Kagayaki then abruptly tossed them into the air and obliterated them with a wide burst of light from her outstretched finger. Lowering her hand, Kagayaki looked at the two of them, then spoke into their heads rather then with her mouth. "Water and Fire versus Light. How will you fare?"

Thus, light cannot give birth to darkness, but darkness can give birth to light. Darkness is not in opposition to light. Darkness is a source that holds all things within it, and is tremendously broad-minded. And this broad-mindedness becomes a power that takes in all opposites such as good and evil, superioity and inferiority, self and others, etc. This is because light is the basis of opposition and disparity. If light is the basis of opposition and disparity, darkness is the basis of non-discrimination. Therefore, dark magic has the tremendous broad-mindedness to take in all power without discriminating between self and others.

(No worries I am patient. ^^)
Nami nodded to Tenka glad to see she was safe and quite alright and still had some pride about being a member of the Fifth Division.
"Glad to hear it Tenka-san keep on guard." The clashes of energy that signalled the fights going on were quite a worry considering there seemed to be more of the rebelling Spirits than defending ones which could turn out badly. Nami glanced at Tenka as she spoke again her smile no longer on her face to be replaced by a serious expression. "Yes I am sure this will turn into a war with the way things are going. Hopefully we are capable of holding off the other spirits who seem bent on taking over. I do not understand their reasoning for wanting to take over but they seem quite set on doing so. Then again Lee-kun has always treated me exceedingly well."

Nami sighed at the thought of them losing since it would mean the end of Shinigami even if they weren't necessarily killed. The destruction of the Fifth Division Captain Office Nami's eyes widened and she took a step towards it. "Lee-kun..." Wait he was definitely not dead considering she was still there so she turned her attention to the source of all the destruction. "This is not going to end well." Just as she was about to take off for the source the Archives were destroyed in the distance and seconds later another spirit appeared before Nami and Tenka. Glancing at the papers in her hands Nami sighed knowing what they were and upon seeming them destroyed bit her lip.

Then the spirit was talking inside her head and presumably Tenka's as well asking how they would fare against her. Light? That could be the Seventh Division or Twelveth Division Captain's spirit which if it was Hei's could prove troublesome.
"I think it is quite irrelevant to ask why you are rebelling since you seem set on fighting. So we might as well get this over with. Be careful Tenka-san." Without another word Nami brought her unreleased katana up in front of her pointing it at Kagayaki and causing a small amount of water to appear around her so that she was standing on it. Immediately needles made of ice shot out flying towards Kagayaki at a fast pace though Nami had doubts about it hitting. "Your move."

"At least my opponent is smart, even if he does fall for everything I do. I wasn't expecting you to remove your clothing so early. Very well then, I shall do the same." Grasping her hakama-himo and gathering the fabric of her of her hakama and kimono shirt, she tore the clothes from her body, revealing a pair of skin-tight black shorts and a skin-tight, black half shirt, both made of a very light fabric. Dropping these articles of clothing to the ground, she felt the already lessened effects decrease. Her build was most alluring, a shapely body with curves in all the right places, making her quite an attractive girl. She had nothing special in the muscle department, but with her abilities, this wasn't an issue. Cocking her fist back then punching forward multiple times, she sent a volley of ball-shaped, condensed fields of repulsion gravity at Ryu's body. "He's basically given this fight to me... Such an awkward child..."

"R-right!" With a look of uncertainty, she watches as her partner attempts the first move, already gaining air advantage and a offensive weapon. Not wishing to be useless, she slams her sword to the ground, a pillar of flames erupting and going in a straight line at the attacker, in a angle that did not meet the the ice needles in case of accidently melting them. Lone orbs of flames encircle her, as a small means of defense, as she had no idea what this mysterious spirit could do.

This combination did not work well, as their opposing elemts might cause their attacks to be nullified or weakened. She couldn't unleash bankai either due to her bankai being a electrical type, even more harmful to Namihime, which might make this unusual combination worsen.

"What is it you hope to gain?!" She wanted to know the reason for being seperated was, as well as trying to distract her, a ploy that Tenka had doubts of working.

As the ice needles passed through her body, Kagayaki stood motionless and emotionless. This attitude was carried over when the fire came towards her. Though she felt the heat from it, this fire would also pass straight through her body. A second later, Kagayaki was within a few inches of Namihime, an afterimage still in her previous place; something pretty for them to look at. What happened next happened so fast that the window to react was gone as fast as it came. Kagayaki was bent low to the ground and staring Namihime in the face. Using a fast uppercut, Kagayaki would attempt to send Namihime flying into the air, which would occur provided her hit landed. Just as fast as she appeared before Namihime, she disappeared, leaving another afterimage behind. Now behind Tenka, she quickly lifted her foot and aimed to slam it into her lower back with speeds that amplified the force greatly. 3 seconds after her initial movement towards Namihime and she was 13 feet to the right of them, holding a stave of light in her right hand. "My move indeed." She said into their heads once more, choosing to not open her mouth and grace them with her actual voice, which was quite pleasant.

While Kagayaki kept them occupied, Kagezume continued on his mission ot erase the Siereitei. He had skipped past Sōkyōku hill as that was where they had kept Hei he knew full well what would happen if he was found and freed. With the 8th Division now down, Kagezume was making his way towards the 9th. Direction was hardly an issue, he was just going as he pleased, taking out whatever he felt like. two fifths of the Seireitei was down now, and he was quite pleased with the progress. Though he could have quickened the process of this by using the augmentation power of the drug he had stolen, he chose not to just yet. This was a simple task, nothing that needed to be rushed along.
