 Blood feeds us all in one way or another
Eliza smiled softly, the sight of Conrad with Abby on his back just topping off the humorous things she's seen today. Then again... she mind was tired and over-energized so everything was hilarious at the moment. "Hey guys." She said, greeting them quietly. "Let's get her to her room, shall we?" The teachers that didn't run outside(maybe like one or two) were getting too close for her liking and she wanted to get out of plain sight. And it was easier for the mind to knock itself out when it was relaxed; what's more relaxing than her room, as safe as she can get here.
My meaning is just more literal

Abby brushed her fingers across her chest and the crystal drifted out of her body. She put it back on the chain what was home to many of these crystals. "Hi," she replied to Eliza's greeting. Abby was in fact older than Eliza, but because of her powers, Abby was not currently aging. That made her sixteen but look about nine. Eliza ans Evangeline intimidated her greatly.
"My room is right here," Abby said opening the door closest to all of them. If she was going to be with these people for a little while, might as well be in her room. She kicked the clothing on the floor under the bed to make it look a little neater. 'I'm going to want that soon,' she thought about a shirt she knew she would forget she kicked under the bed.
And I wonder where these dreams go
When the world gets in your way
What's the point in all this screaming?

 In truth that she learned,
or the times that he cried Evangeline Faded to the background a little as she watched things happen. Watching the girl, Abby, pop a crystal thing from her necklace out of her chest gave her the creeps. Eliza, at least, was all with energy. Those crystals had once been alive though. At least, from the rumors she heard. The girl let them into her room and Eva was the first to follow. "So, what to do now?" she asked them.

Eliza looked around Abby's room. It was fairly plain, only one or two posters hanging about; no pictures. "I think the last part of the plan was this..." She said as she reached forward and touched the child's arm. She yipped slightly before starting to falling backward. Crap... I can't catch her.

Abby leaped back as Eliza began to fall. "She was going to try and use her powers on me, wasn't she," Abby asked, shrinking herself into a corner on the ground. She was almost never touched by anyone so that alone unnerved her. To follow up that Eliza was going to work magic on her terrified her. "You guys were going to do something to me," she was in paranoia mode now. "If you were going to do something to me, you should have left me in the cell!" she wrapped her arms around her knees and took a few shaky breaths.
And I wonder where these dreams go
When the world gets in your way
What's the point in all this screaming?

 Conrad held up his hand, signaling to the girls to be silent. He gave the young girl a minute to calm down, then crouched so he could look at her eye-level. "The plan was to erase your memory," he said calmly, "so you wouldn't remember being in the cell, and you wouldn't remember who it was who rescued you. We weren't going to hurt you; we'd never dream of it. All we wanted to do was protect you."
An image of his grandfather passed through his mind...
"Going to this school is for your own good, Conrad. It'll keep you out of danger, keep you from doing dangerous things. I'm trying to protect you!"
He blinked, hard, trying to erase the memory. "We understand if you don't want our protection. But it would be better all around if you let this young lady take your memory of tonight."
He looked straight into her eyes.

In truth that she learned,
or the times that he cried "Eliza?" Evangeline could not catch her friend, but she managed to lift Eliza's head onto her lap. Evangeline was fanning air into Eliza's face. "Wake up!" she exclaimed in a whisper. A few minutes ago Eliza had been on top of an energy high. 'What could have happened by just that touch?' she wondered. Evangeline grasped Eliza's un-gloved hand to try and give her some energy back.

"Then leave me there!" Abby told him. "I don't want my memories tampered with. Obviously her powers and mine interfere. She can;t touch me without passing out. If my powers were fully activated, she'd probably be in a coma," Abby explained. She stood up and moved over to her dresser and pulled off her necklace of crystals. "All of the crystals on that necklace were once a person or an animal," she told him as she folded her arms.

Conrad blinked. To most people that would be the equivalent of screaming. "What happened to them?" he asked quietly. He wasn't entirely sure that Willow could erase this girl's memory, but if there was the slightest chance, he had to get this girl to trust them. He wanted her to feel on an equal keel with them.
Then he remembered her first reply. "We're not going to leave you in that cell. Mr. Rigger's memory's already been erased, and no one in the faculty knows you were ever down there. When they finally found you, you'd be starving, and you might... reawaken their memory or something." Which would be awful for Willow and Pheonix, due to the whole fight problem.

"I happened to them. The crystal I used to teleport us here, used to be a kid. He was diagnosed with a fatal disease, so they made me absorb him and convert him into a crystal. There are at least seven, if not more, different crystals on there that used to be people. The rest were various animals," Abby told Conrad.
"Starving to death would be better than staying here," Abby rolled her eyes as she flopped on her bed. She kept looking around, not wanting to longer on Eva's face which was filled with worry for Eliza. Eliza's face was loose and looked like she was sleeping. Conrad's face was more concealed. She knew he wanted her to trust them, but she could not just yet. They had gone through a lot of trouble to save her, but why? Did they want her to make crystals like the school had? What was the reason?
For the first time in almost her entire life, Abby wished that she had parents.

Conrad had made a definite decision - this girl didn't get it. She thought they were using her the way the teachers did. Had she ever been exposed to kindness?
"All we want to do is protect you, and protect ourselves," he said again. "If you remember who it was that rescued you, and met you here, then you'd put yourself at risk - for reminding the teachers you were ever in the cells - and you put us at risk - for revealing that we did illegal activity. Does that make sense? We couldn't just leave you in there, but we can't let you remember who we are. It puts us in trouble."
Mentally, Conrad was urging Willow to wake up.

"Well your up a creek without a paddle then. If she can erase my memories then let her try. As it stands right now though, she's out cold," Abby replied to the boy who also did not get it. Her mouth was shut to teachers as long as it possibly could be. She had taken the whips before and kept her mouth shut. Was she really that hard to trust?
Abby sat on the floor in front of the two girls and folded her arms across her chest. She was perfectly willing to wait for the girl to wake up and give it another try.

Eliza was floating. Yes, well... not literally. But the feeling was both wonderful and terrifying at the same time. Some one was calling her... people from her past an her present. She could see them, feel them. The energy of it all was flowing through her.But she couldn't stay, something was virtually pushing back to her life.
She opened her eyes slowly, finding Eva's face. 3 of them actually. Her eyes were unfocused to an extreme. Colors blurred together. Eliza blinked once, twice, many times before things started to return to their natural. "What happened..." She asked groggily. Her voice was rough, and she was weak. She felt someone holding her hand. Eva? But she was safe... Wow, Eliza thought, I didn't know that there was a weakness where I couldn't tap into others energy. This is truly a night of firsts. "Did I miss anything good?
[[Sorry Guys. I've been sick for two days with the stomach bug. xp ]]

or the times that he cried Evangeline almost wanted to cry when Eliza woke up. Eliza was not her closest friend, but some little girl who had no control over her powers taking down her friend, did not sit well. "You missed the part where this little snot kills people for her power and has challenged you to try again with the memory wipe," Eva said with a little look of disgust spared for Abby.
