rockhardchica everybody says that the ring scared them but in my oppinion that was the least scariest movie i ever saw, the only thing that scared me was when i was staring at the girl and my brother went arwawawa the ring 2 comes out on my b-day biggrin

Umm...well I suppose the movie 13 ghosts was rather good. Jumped like..once I think but other then that, "scary movies" now adays arent really scary, they are more for the suprise effect to make others jump. Other then the movie 13 ghosts I havent seen an actual good "scary" movie for awhile.

I've seen a lot of people saying that 13 Ghosts was scary...it had good effects but other than that I thought it sucked. sweatdrop

oh my crap, childs play scared the s**t outta me when I was young. It still kinda freaks me out, though I'm getting over it. I remember some other scary movies but being young, I didn't remember the titles.
Recently, though....the ring scared the s**t out of me. And the Grudge made me jump. Ju-On(the japanese version of Grudge) scared me too. AAHH! ok.

Ju-On(the japanese version of Grudge) scared me too. AAHH! ok. The ring was rather dissapointing but I suppose it was the first of the era of the weird a** horror movie thing going on. The Grudge, The ring, The ring 2, the boogeyman. It's all based on those shocking moments, they suprise instead of actually scare you. I wanted an evil chuckie doll for christmas after I saw those movies.

The only movie that has freaked meh a** out lately wass hide n seek.... just a freak out like... wtf?
Other than that... I'm gonna agree with [x]Living Dead Girl[x]... care bears are satanic spawn sent to earth to steal our fingernails and eyes... Or if you are a satanist..... Care bears are santa's bitches sent to steal all of our knives and chains... and piercings while they are at it...

Hmmm.... Can't really think of any super scary movies....
What really gets me are the *real* ghost footages and stuff... those freak me out O_O... but they aren't movies...
OH wait!! Prince of Darkness... it's an older one, but CRAP it was trippy, especially the parts with the video camera sent through the mirror with the freaky images it was sending back*shudder*... and Rosemaries Baby @_@...
*must find happy place now* ......

godhi The movie that scared me (especially as a child) was the original version of "The Haunting" from 1961. For some perverse reason, one of the local television stations would show it about every six months when I was a kid. Didn't see the movie all the way through 'til I was twelve, since unlike Bill Cosby I would turn off the movie when it became too scary. By the way, I enjoyed "Jeepers Creepers" but absolutely hated the sequel. Really? i liked the sequal more, gave the monster personality.
