^_^ Nah, I jest. xD Seriously, it's because he strikes me as the 'leader' of the Replicas. Kind of like an end-game boss. The one you're working up to defeating the whole time you're traveling/saving worlds/solving problems, you know? Like Marluxia in the first half of CoM. Which is... the only half I've played. My point is, you go through all those other bad guys to get to Marluxia. He's the big baddie. Although that's hard to say with the Replicas, because they are all fairly powerful and bad. I was half tempted to choose Azrael, actually. He has the same sort of 'leader boss' effect. *nods*

If you were forced to pick one non-villain Earthling to kill off, not including yourself (pesky martyrs), and doing so would save everyone else from perpetual torment, who would you pick? Or, perhaps I should say, who will you pick...?
