I've been putting off writing this intro for a while. Not saying I don't want to just always forget. Eh, once a procrastinator always... ...i'll finish typing that sentence later. My name is Brandon. Rather funny how time can change a person. If someone told me to join this guild last year, maybe even last month, I 'd be too scared to. I was a born and raised Southern Baptist. I went my entire life believing that being a Christian was entirely my choice, and it wasn't until recently that I realized it wasn't. I went with Christianity because it was all I knew, a fact that I feel my parents took advantage of. Yeah, I know they only wanted what the believed was best for me, but... I believe my life would've been easier if they just taught me to think for myself rather than follow a bandwagon. But I digress. After I realized that 'my' choice wasn't mine, I figured I'd study a little bit and see if I could convince myself to make the choice for myself. Well my studies proved that Christianity is... hard for me to believe. So after some thought I decided I'd be better off trying to find something that I find more believable. First stop: Wicca-land At this point I'd like to say this: I know little to nothing about Wicca itself. But my girlfriend (White_crow240 cool has been quite helpful in teaching me a little about Wicca, and I gotta say... From what she's teaching me, Wicca is sounding very good so far. So, to the people of this guild I'd like to ask... please be patient with me. If you see me on the forums and I ask a completely stupid or off-the-wall question, just keep in mind I'm new to this. I have an open mind and I'm willing to learn, so I'm excited to start posting biggrin

Hi there.
I know what you're on about when it comes to being forced into a faith by your parents. For 15 years of my life I was Catholic because I had to be, but by the end of it I just couldn't stand the way in was run.

Hello, My name is Ryu though in real life my name is Skye and I am seventeen years old. I recently got into Wicca because I felt more of an affinity for it than I did for the religion I was originally *forced* to be in, You see, I was a mormon. I accepted the path of Wicca when my friend, well, Ex friend introduced me to it and I felt more...in tune with it, I understood it a bit better.
I am still a beginner at this religion and thus, I want to learn what it truly means to actually be in one and actually be around other practitioners of Wicca rather then the people I usually am around.

 My name is Angel (actually, it's Angelina and while pretty, no one actually calls me that...) I'm 24 and I'm just getting into witchcraft and such myself.
My mom was into witchcraft and wicca for years and while she didn't keep it a secret from us, she didn't involve us in it too much because she wanted us to be able to make that decision for ourselves. You can probably tell what decision I made just from being here, haha.
Though oddly enough she did tell everyone we were Christian, and I only realize 20-some years later that we never really were.
I've been curious about it for a while but only decided to take the plunge and accept this is what I wanted after my fiance bought me a spellbook.
I am getting married next month, and I have been with him for 6 years, he is very supportive of my choices which is wonderful because I don't have to hide any of it (unless his parents are coming over and even then, it's just because his mom likes to touch all my stuff and obviously I don't like that). We have two cats and after our wedding we will also have two gerbils.
Honestly, I don't feel like I'm any good at introuctions so I don't really know what else to say.

I am Jessica, I consider myself Wiccan but only really observe the holidays, and my husband is interested in Druidism. I want to raise my daughter, currently five months old, with Wicca. I won't push it on her, but I'm hoping to provide her with... well something, lol. A sense of belonging, a sense of family (though you don't need religion for that, I think it might help if it's something we do as a family.) Guild has been quite for some time now, but new people are always welcome. smile
