Aegle smirked. "Oh? So you know the exact spot I'm speaking of?" She asked trotting right next to him, "If so feel free to say go."

"I don't know the spot, but this just means that you'll have a small advantage. But I'd still like to race...so...Go!" He grinned and burst out in front of her.

Aegle shook her head. "I suppose so...." She said as he sprinted ahead of her. Grinning she began running. She soon caught up to him but wasn't able to get ahead.

Juri slowed slightly so that Aegle could take the lead. He threw out a crystal and let it bop along with them, raining sparkles every time one of their hooves hit the ground.

Aegle pulled ahead when Juri slowed down. Seeing the crystal rain sparkles as they ran made her laugh. She looked back up and watched as the hills drew close. Once they were closer she looked for her favorite spot, a hill that was a bit higher than the others. "There it is!" She shouted pointing with her head.

"I'll see you there," He yelled, running hard toward the spot she'd indicated.

"No I'll see you there!" She yelled back. She ran as hard and fast as she could. However she noticed that Juri was pulling ahead slightly.

Juri's crystal fell to the ground, rolling under his hooves and tripping him up. He laughed as he righted himself and continued to run. There was no way he could catch up to Aegle now, but it didn't stop him from trying.

Aegle pulled ahead after Juri's crystal tripped him up. Reaching the hill she stopped, panting and looking at the ground. Once he got there she looked at him to make sure he was alright. "Okay there?" She said, "I saw you trip over your crystal."

Aegle went up to him and nuzzled him. "Surely your pride isn't that hurt?" She asked looking up at him.

Juri returned her nuzzle and wrapped his arms around her. "Now that you mention it, it's injuries are getting smaller and smaller by the minute."

Aegle turned to the sky and leaned into Juri. "Well that's wonderful."
