chris sighed and washed out a few bottles for them, filling them with either milk or formula and putting them in the fridge, he then got himself a glass of juice and sat at the table with a smile "want anything miss? help yourself."

after a while chris turned on the lights and put on some nursery music.

"hey there kiddo, what's your name? I'm christoph, but you can just call me Chris. He smiled falsely and was slightly annoyed not to meet a parent. Sign ins for kids just dropped off were usually a hassle of translating. "may I take your bag? He said, not hesitating to simply take it, finding his information neatly tucked inside "thank the gods" he muttered as he checked him in.

Since that part of the enchantment works on people's perceptions it's kind of different for everybody, For instance you can see him as a teen baby or as a couple months old.However your brain would still dream up some rational for it.) "Hello Chris. You can call me Jim." He noticed the way the man was talking to him, and knew that the curse was working it's insidious magic. He had hoped a place like this would be different which is why he suggested it to his "mother", the only person he knew of that saw him as he truly was. Jim handed the man his bag, after retrieving a copy of "Where the Red Fern Grows." He was almost done with it but he knew he should have a chance at retrieving the other book some time, either that or he would be picked up. So it didn't really matter. His stomach rumbled. "I'm kind of hungry, do you think you can tell me when lunch is?" He was sure his words would come to the man's ears as some sort of babyish drawl, however he found it was best to speak as concisely as possible, if only to keep in practice for whenever the enchantment would be broken.
