Tenyou felt some kind of troubling atmostphere, though he didn't know who it came from. "Um... is everything okay?" he asked. "I'm not causing any trouble or anything, right?" He was worried that maybe his presence was causing stress.

 Hikaru, Fenleigh Bell grinned, "Nope! Not at all, kiddo," she said, ruffling his hair "Though a certain someone seems to be extra worried about you~" she sang.
Hikaru blushed...
But said nothing,,,

Tenyou blushed a little, but he wasn't sure why exactly. Maybe because he had never met an Earth being who actually cared about him. Then again, it's reasonable since he had always been invisible to the beings and so he never found out whether Earth beings would care for an angel's well-being or not.
What about Fenleigh? Sure he has friends like Bell-san taking care of him, but what about anyone else? The Earth beings called humans study his kind and stare at his kind for entertainment, but apparently no one else cared for him. In such a case, Tenyou made a mental note to ask the High One to help Fenleigh get over his loneliness.

Hikaru, Fenleigh [[Ugh... braindead... can we timeskip a few hours or so, and say that afterwards they met the rest of the flock and lazed around by the lakeside or something...? sweatdrop I really can't think of anything to post now... ]]

Hikaru, Fenleigh Hikaru lay on the lakeside, eyes closed, and arms places as a pillow beneath his head, as he felt the cool breeze, and heard the normal soothing sounds...
It was peaceful...
A few hours had passed since Bell had teased him, and his expression was serene...
Bell on the other hand was napping on the lake, in her swan form, neck tucked almost under a wing...
They could all feel the warm sun and soaked in its warm friendly rays...

Tenyou lay slightly buried in the sand and on his stomach, letting the High One's light warm his back and his strangely cold wings. He had always wondered why humans would lie in the sand at a beach, and now he understood why. Humans seemed to live in paradise, but he knew it wasn't the case. He had seen what terrors humans could do, which was why the Star Angels existed.
Looking over at Fenleigh, Tenyou couldn't help but stare at the firefly's face, entranced. Had Fenleigh always had that face? It was a wonder that the star he had fallen for hasn't noticed it.

Hikaru, Fenleigh Hikaru slept on, oblivious, completely relaxed, he breathed evenly...
And turned onto his side, facing Tenyou, his hands by his face, as Bell stirred slightly.
She watched the two sleepily...
She had had suspicions about him [tenyou]...
And from instinct she felt they might be right...
Those two loved each other... But they had yet to notice...
It would... be best if he were that star Hikaru had always watched...
Yes... It would be best...
She dozed off again in the warm lull...

The High One's light seemed to lull Tenyou to sleep. His wings unconsciously began to make some kind of signal to the High One, who was in the sky. The sounds of bells echoed around him, the sign of angels. Very few could hear them. Maybe they'll find him here and take him home. Perhaps then he would be able to tell the High One about Fenleigh and his loneliness.
A wind blew over him, the breathing of Mother, the High One's wife. Mother was very important to the birds and humans. In fact, she was the Angel of Flight and the inventor of wings. Her wind was comforting as the light of the High One, both elements creating the most wonderful of lullabies, and soon Tenyou was fast asleep.

Hikaru, Fenleigh While the other two dozed, Bell stirred, and looked up, smiling, "Ah, hello, Mother... High One," she murmured softly, smiling, "It's been a long time hasn't it?" she asked softly, as she looked over at the two...
Then sighed...
"I truly do hope that they will realize soon... I think.... they were meant for each other..."

Tenyou woke up not long after he fell asleep and the High One's light was still bright. It was the summer time of the Earth world, so he could understand why. This was one of the jobs that the High One had to do. Humans believed in seasons, so the High One was supposed to preserve their beliefs and keep the angels safe.
Sighing, Tenyou once again looked at Fenleigh. He had a strange urge, which he was taught was sinful in the world of the Angels. To love someone the same gender as himself was just... wrong. There had only been few who have gotten away with such things, but that was because the High One and Mother could see the true love.

Hikaru, Fenleigh "Un...~" Leigh woke up, rubbing his eyes just a tad tiredly, before covering a yawn, "-Ah, Ranpa-san... You're awake...?" he asked, beaming at the other creature...
...Can you see them, Mother? High One? They love each other... they truly do... They just don't realize it yet... she thought sadly...
She was near the center of the lake now... with the other napping swans...

Tenyou nodded and looked away from Fenleigh and toward the sky. He could feel tears running down his face, but he didn't know why. It scared him a little. He had never had the foreign substance secreted from him. It just didn't seem to belong, but here it was making wet trails in his pale skin. The High One's light and Mother's breath seemed to dry the tears quickly, but the evidence of them was still on Tenyou's face.
Why was he crying? Was it because of the pain that filled his heart? Was it the pain in his wing? He had endured pains much worse than either or those and he had never shed a tear, but here he was crying over pains that aren't as bad as those in the past yet still unbearable. His thoughts were confirmed. He had all but fallen in love with the firefly.

Hikaru, Fenleigh "Oh... -Ah, y-you're crying...!" exclaimed Fenleigh softly, surprised... and a little shocked...
Had he done something wrong...?
"What's wrong, Ranpa? Does your wing hurt? Please tell me!" he almost begged, eyes filled with pure worry...
Hikaru, being the gentle caring soul he was, did not fully comprehend that he was in love with Ranpa...
He was in love... but he just did not truly realize it yet...
But... perhaps... he would find out soon...
Very soon...

At hearing Fenleigh's worry, Tenyou immediately wiped away the tears. "It's nothing, really. I just got something in my eye," he said. "Probably sand and nothing more." He couldn't tell the firefly the truth. It was very detrimental to the safety of the angel race.
