 Aerin couldn't believe what was happening as the Prince lay the box on the beach, could he really be leaving those things for Him? And then the beauty of his words seemed to answer the merboy's question and once the humans were out of sight he swam quickly to retrieve the box. His bright blue eyes widened as they looked at the beautiful jewlry, all different colors. Aerin closed the box and held it to his chest. Not being human the little merboy didn't know exactly what that ring was meant for but he knew it was special and he would keep it forever. He just knew he had to become human now... he just needed to find a way.
Looking after the Prince he whispered, "I love you."
Then he quickly dove back into the depths of the sea, towards his fathers kingdom. He had to find Satsuki of someone he could trust and ask them how he could become human. As his thoughts became lost in dreaming of the Prince and his dark eyes, the merboy himself became lost... This was a darker part of the ocean, somewhere his father had told him to keep away from. Aerin gasped as he realized he was in the Sea Wizard's territory. It was natural for any merperson to be afraid after this realization, but Aerin thought that he must be there for a reason... fate led him here. (At least that's what his love filled mind told him) And perhaps the Sea Wizard could help him. Cautiously he made his way towards the Sea Wizard's home...(so sorry about my absenses. I will try to be on everyday from now on, I've been busy with first week in college!!!)

Sitting back casually, face impassive though his eyes twinkled with mischief, Balthezar waited politely for the other to stop coughing up water before replying. "There was a bit of a storm...Quite impressive one at the." His eyes and tone belied the bored way he spoke.
The second question had him chuckling. "Easy there. The Prince, Princess, and Naraku are all okay.. in fact there weren't many lives lost. about two or three lower-classed crewmen. His highness is that way," He directed Taichi's attention towards the main beach, which was hidden from view by a cliff wall.
"If you want to, you can go check on his health." He paused and looked like his attention had been drawn to something else. And it had, he had felt the mer-prince passing the magical wards he had surrounding his domain to alert him of guests, whether they were of the welcome or unwelcome kind.
"I have something I must take care of now. We will meet again. Adieu." And he walked backwards over the water....wait he was on the water as though it were solid! When he'd gone out far enough, he finally sank beneath the waves and was on his way back to his home in the ocean, where the young merman prince was waiting for his help.
Balthezar was waiting in the parlor for Aerin. The feel of the room was spooky, much like the one owned by a certain sea witch by the name of Ursula, but more goth-romantic era..His plan was progressing well. Even better than he'd first thought. He had not anticipated that the boy would come to him so soon, but that was fine if he had to speed things up a bit.
He smiled a little maliciously, though he turned it into a friendly one just as the prince entered his home once he'd invited the other in.

Holding the jewelry box close to his chest, Aerin made his way into the Wizard's home. It was dark inside and sure gave the merboy the creeps but the Wizards smile was friendly enough as he entered. He gave a little gasp as he met the Sea Wizard, who looked so powerful and attractive... but a bit frightening.
"I'm so sorry to come uninvited," said Aerin trying to find the courage to speak, "I've lost my way... but I think there might be something that I need help with."
Aerin could not get his breath to steady as he swam closer to the other merman. He was remembering all of the bad things his father had said about this Wizard and his "dark magic" and was beginning to wonder if he should just run home and try to forget about the prince. He looked down at his jewelry box, no, he could never forget the prince. He just had to become human!!
"I need to become human," he finally spoke aloud despretely, "Can you do that?"

"Yes, quite alright. I so rarely get company out here after all." He smiled, more like smirked, when Aerin asked if he could make him human. Not answering, he swam closer to the boy, circling around him in a shark-like manner. "To become human is simple...but I must receive payment in return, of course. Nothing in this world is free..except perhaps love, but then it isn't always easy to come by either."
He knew he must be speaking in riddles, but it was fun to play around with peoples minds a little. "Saa. How about..in return for becoming human.. I get your lovely tail, since you won't have need of it when you are human." He knew it wasn't a strange trade, though some would have charged differently, *CoughUrsulaCough*, for turning a merman into a human...but this way was needed for his plans.
"Well? Do we have an accord?" He stopped swimming around Aerin right in front of him, close but not enough to invade the boys personal bubble.

Aerin looked down at his beautiful tail sadly, it was the only tail of that color. However all of this time he dreamed of being human... why would he be upset now? He couldn't have his tail and his legs now could he?
"If I lose my tail," he worried aloud, "I'll never be able to see my family again, I could never return to my kingdom..."

 Taichi Taichi blinked, "Wha-" this was odd...
He had thought there was someone there... was he wrong...?
He felt his lips, confused, they were warm... while the rest of him was still cool from the seastorm...
What in the world happened...?

"True.. But what is more important to you? Your own heart? or your Family?" He was teasing, and the smirk was proof of it. "You would be able to see them, only not as a merman, but as a human. You would be able to see them, from a distance." It was the boys choice, but he was certainly not going to let this end any way other than how he planned it.
"Your choice, love or misery. I'm not going to force you into anything.. But know that the prince only has a few weeks now before he must choose a bride.. That box you have is proof of how he feels about you, its a promise meant to be given to a young lady.." He turned and started moving towards the back of the room, as though he was finished speaking with Aerin.
