Rika walked through the path, slowly with a look of reverence in her eyes. She knew that the Mist amd Snow were in a relative alliance, so these fallen shiboi could have fought for that end. She saw a lone man standing before a large memorial stone and she could feel something tug at her when she saw him. Not knowing why, she guessed that he was the man she was looking for. "Lord Yukikage, I hope that I am not interrupting." Sshe bowed reverently to him, giving the proper respect he deserved.

Kirin turned around swiftly; blinking the tears from his eyes as his Cyan gaze dropped upon the girl that stood away from him. A gentle smile played upon his face as he looked at the masked individual who had addressed him. "At least some people in this world show respect. Though, you're not interrupting." His voice was gentle,. as were his eyes and smile. His swords, Konguseiki-Kiri and Samehada were resting against the memorial.

Rika nodded along with he said, smiling behind her steel mask. "The dead who sacrifice themselves for their homes, families, and countries deserve more respect than any one individual could ever offer. A shinobi gets no higher honor than dying for their village." Her eyes sparkled with a few tears, knowing that would do the very same as these fallen had if need be.

"Dying for one's village is a most honorable death. But, if one is not willing to die for their country, or even their family... then they are unworthy of being Shinobi. Yes?" Kirin closed his eyes and smiled at the girl as he walked closer. His white samurai armor gleaming brilliantly against the sun but within seconds, a cloud of smoke appeared and he was draped by a whit and silver cloak, a hat rested upon his head also with the Kanji of Snow. "Welcome. I am Tatsuka, Kirin." He bowed gently.

Rika nodded, those were ones she considered scum. Cowardice was unexceptable, most of all from a Shinobi. She bowed as well, lower in respect. "Rika Minami, sire. I am a shinobi from the Hidden Mist...I've set upon a self-assigned mission of self-discovery. I never left my village before and I felt that I needed to go and see what is out in the world."

Kirin stood up and patted the girls head; ruffling her hair up before chuckling. "Self-discovery.... Haven't done that in awhile, nor have I tried." He lowered his hate to keep the sun from his eyes and whistled.

As soon as the Yukikage touched her, something akin to rage flared inside of her and she had to fight to keep it in check. Letting nothing show in her eyes, she spoke quietly. "Then you must have found what you were looking for." She stared at the memorial for a long moment, wondering silently if the Mizukage had read her note yet. "Lord Yukikage, I was wondering if you knew anything about Jinchuriki." She identified the fierce rage as Houkou trying to break the surface into her mind.

"Jinchuriki? Ha! You're talking to one!" The world rolled over his tongue perfectly as Kirin looked the girl directly in the eyes with a smile as he removed his hat, the fangs made from soot on his cheek completely revealed. "This is the mark of Soukou, the Yonbi, my partner." The young Kage announced proudly as he replaced his hat atop his head and stood straight up. "Now, tell me, why do you ask?"

Rika was relieved now that her she knew she wasn't paranoid. Houkou was displeased with being touched by another beast. She removed her mask slowly, revealing the curse mark that was across the entirety of her face. "The mark of Houkou, the Five-Tails my lord. He refuses to acknowledge me, however." The last part bothered her, her eyebrows scrunching in frustration.

Kirin smirked and crossed his arms, looking at the girl and gently stroking her face in the most non-provocative, non-sexual way he could. "Yes... Houkou you are in there aren't you? Hmm?" He smiled and pulled his hand away, it was trembling in rage of Soukou; who seemed to be completely bouncing around in his head.
A howl and a smash occurred as a tree branch fell and Kirin stood before the beast, face-to-face. "Let me out!" He roared, pounding his chest in a display of aggressiveness, but slowly and with each breath, calming down upon seeing the look in Kirin's eyes; feeling their chakra mix and blend. Kirin stood there and moved closer, firm and a palm outstretched peacefully. "Oh come on buddy~ Don't be so hardassed now, of all times! Your tamed and safe inside of me... Your free from animistic instincts such as those." Kirin sad gently, stroking the fur on Soukou's arm as he hunched down and nodded, Kirin disappearing from his inner sanctum.
"Heh. Sorry about that, he gets wound up..." Kirin said with an embarrassed blush and a scratch of his head. "The Yonbi is tamed within me, allowing us to communicate greatly. It takes a different time for each one; I think?" He responded before crossing his arms and nodding solemnly.

Rika wasn't exactly pleased with the answer she received, but knew that getting along with ones Bijuu was possible by just seeing how Kirin was acting. "I was always locked away when the previous leader of my village reigned, not even allowed to train properly as a shinobi. Now the new Mizukage promised me a squad and a spot in the Chuunin exams...but a week passed with no other contact from him." She looked down in agitation, tempted to dig her foot deeper into the snow.
"I acted quickly, taking advantage of a lull to make my leave. I left him an apology note..." Tears were welling in her eyes, but she fought them back. "I will never learn to protect my village with empty promises and lack of power." A fierce look passed over her features as her now fiery gazed locked on the Yukikage. "I will do what I must to protect them, even if I must leave them for a time."

"Qastor... He's leading the Mist, right? I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I had helped out with one of his shinobi, I guess..." Kirin stroked the tiny bit of hair on his chin that was forming into a small goatee, one that he quite liked. Stroking it felt second nature... and rather amusing to his ADHD-ness.

Rika smiled hopefully at him, "Lord Yukikage, if you allow me to stay for a while, I promise I will make myself useful. There is so much I need to learn and my home just doesn't have enough teachers for me." there seemed she was thinking more clearly than normal and had more energy than just an hour before. But her grumbling stomach interrupted her train of though and blush appeared on the white that was on her cheeks.

Kirin started to chuckle a bit before covering his mouth. After a few minutes of insane giggling, he was all fine and dandy. "Well, I'd reckon we need to eat. You're a guest, so I'll pay if you wish to eat?" He inquired her un-persistently, but enough to bade her into saying yes. A hungry shinobi, when offered food, will always take it.

Rika smiled, but shook her head. "No my lord, you're already doing much for me. I've got enough still from my travels to pay for myself." She pulled out a bit of cash from her sleeve, the last of what she had. "I've relied on myself since I turned ten and received my own place, I don't feel right receiving handouts." She grinned and replaced her mask, hiding her curse mark out of habit. "Where would you suggest eating? My mother says there are many great places around here to eat, she told me she was from here originally."
