Gah. I'm sick. @_@;; But here's my info. :3 My name's Liane (pronounced Lee-anne). I'm 18, from Washington and I go to a local community college. I don't know what career I want to follow, which is currently a big issue for me, because up until YESTERDAY I wanted to be a journalist and now I'm very lost. @_@; ANYWAY. Well, here I am... My real name is Andreus Leroi; souvenir of my gallic and my scandanavian ancestry. Here is a picture of me.  And here is another, more risque photo, removable if necessary.  Anyways, there's my ugliness. xd My basic hobbies are poetical creation, writing, that is; also Taijiquan, Kendo, and other martial arts; also black sorcery based on the thessalian model. I am inordinately fond of a few things, among them: novelty flavors of mountain dew, fettucine alfredo, movies about attractive vampires, and most of all, women. To reiterate: Women.Don't say I didn't warn you. I am a senior in high school and plan to attend college in order to someday enter youth ministry... boring career path, I know, but I like it. In addendum, I found this very nice descriptive passage about me that my friend and sometime lover raven (real name angela) wrote for school, and is quite insightful, I think.
Here it is:
" He moves through the crowd in a field of entropy, faces melting away from him just on the verge of collision. His eyes are liquid, solid, a bestial blue mixed with green; his hair is tarnished gold, flying in all directions as if anxious to escape. In motion his clothes make him an ambulating shadow, all sharp creases with the world behind like an equinoctial corona, and at rest they wrinkle and run together into a second skin, as if under some tremendous weight. Saturnine and strange, his head cocked, in defience of all reason, at what can only be called a jaunty angle, he sits with his limbs folded at precise angles, conforming to a pattern only he can see. Space folds around him and he attracts memories. Once, sitting on a bench with him, I couldn't stop thinking about all the other benches I'd sat on with other people. The things he touches stop and phase into archetype, softening and blurring into a silver antithesis of the real. Once at an anime convention, the elevator door opened and I saw him sitting in an armchair, impossibly, inside the elevator, surrounded by potted plants like a verdant garden of the eccentric. A woman in outlandish lace was on one arm, and a rosary was in his other hand. At the last moment before the doors closed, I saw him wink at me and wave as a pair of false gray-black wings shifted on his back with a disturbing versimmilitude. He inhabits hotel rooms completely and walks through houses like a revenant. Crows call out to him and he seems to answer with his iron blue eyes. A travesty and perfection of folded space, he walks and speaks like music and like strangeness, schrodinger's human; never truly there."

I guess it's about time I sat down and did an intro for myself. I don't post much in the actual guild, but I spend a lot of time in the M&R: DYBIM thread. My name's Amanda, but I usually go by Manda or Astra. I'm 20 years old and live in Ohio. I have been dating Styskel for 2+ years now. I'm bi and poly...and we're actually looking for a gf at the moment. Another big part of my life is my spirituality. I'm pagan. Asatru/Druid with a side of Discordianism. I'm currently doing my ADF dedicant training. I hope to be taking my oath next Samhain. My favorite color is black, followed by red and silver. Though I do have a fondness for rainbows. My favorite author's include Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, Orson Scott Card, Laurell K. Hamilton, and Edgar Allen Poe. My favorite children's book is The Giving Tree. My favorite animal's are cats. I adore all kinda of cats and would love to have a pet tiger. I'd also love to have a pet Hawk or Falcon. I'm currently attending a local community college. I'm a liberal arts major, decided between Photo, Psych, Art Therapy and Forensic Photography. If you want to know anything else, just ask. My name is Robert, 20, and I live in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
I'm a Zen Buddhist of 2+ years, prior to which is UCC Christian... but that's a non-issue really.
I lurk about ED>M&R looking for people to eat, and then later mock in DYBIM for their false/deluded/newbish views.

First post within the Church of Mod. My name is David, I am 21 years of age and currently attend Michigan State University. I am now majoring in Telecommunications, after spending two years as a zoology major. It's amazing what a bout of depression can do to your outlook on life. I'm of Scandenavian descent, and am very proud of it. I enjoy H.P. Lovecraft immensely when I get the chance to read; school detracts from greater aspects of life. I am quick to be cynical; I love dark, dry humor. British humor, too. Coupling was a fantastic show. I'm into fantasy and scifi, and RPGs. Big on the Mutants and Masterminds system, because I DETEST class-based systems with a passion. My scorn for creative restraints is INFINITE I tell you.

Evan. Pic.I'm thinking some of you know my story well enough, but others may not, so we'll see where I can make the two meet. I'm going to DeVry University for Computer Information Sciences, a career I will more than likely find to be unfulfilling and unworthwhile, but will endeavor until I can fund and make successful a clothing line as designed by myself and close friends. I frequent Gaia acting as one of the few ED "oldbies", though some would contest my status as an oldbie even though I've been here for a year (these people being oldbier than myself, more often than not). Apart from Gaia and college, I enjoy music, movies, video games (the sort of things a late-teens, "new adult" tends to enjoy), with a light emphasis on reading (a general disinterest in, and a feeling that I am literate enough as it stands). Long walks on the beach, candle-lit dinners, et al are the norm decor for anyone seeking a Cancer with large dreams and a larger heart. I have a penchant for mocking almost anything put in front of me, though I put most of the blame on having a reckless sense of humor.
