 Jazz
The Raichu watched each shelf fall with a bemused expression until he spotted the Xatu angrily pinned under the last. She threw it off her back with a psychic and whirled around to the two with burning eyes. "Um...Siggy. Now would be a good time to RUN."

SiggyYou didn't have to tell the Typhlosion twice. He wheeled around and ran out of that place as fast as he could. He still had to make sure to duck when leaving, so as to not slam Jazz's head into the doorway.

 Ruana
Ruana had to admit she was impressed by the size of the place when she walked into the library. She hadn't really thought about a guild of explorers having a whole lot of books, after all, but she supposed it made sense to have a few guides on hand for those unknown surprises, like the one she now held in her arms.
Anyhow, it wasn't like she could leave the egg alone in the team's room with Demetri. Likely the canine wouldn't have kept an eye on it anyway; he probably would have fallen asleep and rolled over and crushed it or something. Then again, the mawile had to admit she probably wouldn't have been any better, but she'd give raising the pokemon a shot anyhow. She just had to hope that the pokemon within the egg wouldn't think of her as "Mommy"; she didn't think she was quite ready for that yet. Hopefully "Big sister" would work just as well.
The mawile began wandering the shelves, searching. She was fairly sure that the egg was a ghost-type; the colors and feel of the egg certainly reminded her of one, and so she looked for an appropriate one. Eventually she saw a promising title on the shelf above her. Carefully she set the egg down and reached up for it, pulling it off the shelves. She skimmed the title ("Understanding the Spirit: A Guide to Ghost-Type Pokemon,") before deciding it was was worth a look. Gently she managed to pick up the egg too and walked over to one of the chairs around the place. She sat down, laying the egg in her lap before opening the book.

LisaThe door to the library slowly creaked open. Lisa quickly poked her head into the room, looking around the library. Oooh, Pokemon tended to keep some shiny things on the walls inside a library~ The Furret quickly scurried across the room, dashing behind one of the bookcases. She peeked around the bookcase, noticing the walls were rather barren. "Arc'dammit..." Lisa muttered. The thief couldn't find anything worth stealing in this stupid library!

LumonThe timid Chinchou made his way down between the shelves, looking for a decent book that could give him information about this surface world he'd joined. Already he was used to the intense light, but this place still made him nervous. On his way over, he'd seen several Pokemon that had bodies partially made of fire. FIRE! Maybe the library had a book on that, too...

LisaLisa's eyes flickered around when she saw something glowing. Her eyes were always attracted to shiny things. Arc'dammit, it was just a Chinchou. The Furret wasn't a kidnapper... Hmmm, Chinchou didn't usually just waltz around like that. Maybe he'd lead her to something! Lisa quietly and quickly scurried up a wall and hung from the ceiling by her claws, watching Lumon from above.

LumonLumon shuddered nervously, still feeling uncomfortable. It felt like someone was watching him. Cautiousy, he pulled a book labelled "Fire-types" off of the shelves, hoping that it would have what he needed.

LisaBah, he was just here to read a stupid book! Lisa scurried across the ceiling and down the wall, returning to the ground behind another bookcase. She sat down for a moment and pouted. She could barely find anything worth stealing anymore! The Furret sighed and thought for a moment. What was that Chinchou reading, anyway? She swiftly scurried around the bookcase and approached Lumon from behind, peering over him at the book. "Fire-types? You're Water-Electric, what do you care about Fire-types?" Lisa suddenly asked.

LumonLumon shifted through the pages, trying to find something worth knowing. He'd just hit the page explaining about the fire that made up their bodies when a rather loud voice behind him sounded out. He jumped several feet in the air with a sharp squeal of surprise, crashing headfirst into a bookcase. Several books toppled off the shelves and landed on him, burying him under a pile of hardcovers on the ground. The timid Chinchou peered out from under the books.

LisaLisa cocked and eyebrow as the Chinchou overreacted to her presence. "Oh, wow. Tactless, aren't we?" She asked, dropping down to all fours and scurrying to the pile of books. "Here, lemme' get you out of there," She said, throwing some of the books to the side to reveal the Chinchou. "Clumsy kid..." The Furret muttered.

LumonLumon felt his face heat up, and he managed to squirm out from under the books. He fluttered his fins in embarrassment as he helped the Furret put away the books. "...Eh.... Sorry... You... Sort of frightened me..." Story of my life.

Lisa"Am I really that frightening?" Lisa asked. Were pink ribbons terrifying to males or something? "I was curious on why you were reading about Fire types, is all." The Furret picked up the book Lumon had been reading and looked it over. "Pretty flimsy thing, 'innit?" She asked, grabbing one of the hard covers and letting the book flop open. The sheer weight of the book caused the cover to tear from the rest of the pages. "Woops..."

LumonLumon looked uncomfortable. "I wanted to know how it was possible for a living Pokemon to be made of fire, okay?" He muttered quietly in response. He didn't answer the Furret about scaring him. Although, when the book covewr hit the floor with a loud THUMP, he jumped again, his heart beating a little bit too fast. "Ar-Arceus..." The fish-like Pokemon stammered nervously. Loud noises. Worst fear ever.

LisaLisa stared at Lumon as if he were crazy. "Well, gee! That's an obvious answer!" She exclaimed. "It's the same reason a fish like you can survive out of the water. It's magic!" At her last word, she flailed her stubby paws.

LumonLumon looked sheepish, scratching the back of his head with a bright white fin. "I-I guess that would make sense, wouldn't it...?" He admitted quietly. He didn't like the way she was staring at him. She wasn't going to eat him, was she?! He paled at the thought. "I'm just... sorta new to this whole... surface world thing. I am known... as Lumon... W-who are you?
