Hisani rested against him, feeling both comfortable and nervous. She liked being close to him but so many thoughts run through her mind. She felt that she needed some time to think this clear. Her eyes were closed mostly. When she opened them, she wondered how much time have been gone since she had gone.
((Hmm, are they at the den where Hisani used to live or in another den? *Isn't completely sure about it.*))

((I meant Laini and Hisani's den whee ))
After a while, he pulled away. He needed to ge out of here, go get some air, anything. Muroki felt just a little bit chlostrophobic. So. He loved her. Didn't mean he had to do anythng...
"Will you be okay alone here for a while?"

((Got it. Do you want that Laini will come soon?))
Hisani blinked for the surprise when Muroki stood up. Her gaze followed him. "I'll be okay," she answered to his question and then, got laying again. In kind way, she was actually glad that she could have some time to herself to think about.

((I don't mind))
With a small smile, Muroki started out of the den. As soon as he was outside, the lanky Dawnwalker began to sprint - feeling his own speed and the rush of the grass as he passed and the warmth of the sun. He'd return to Hisani soon enough but...right not he wanted to think alone.

((Gaia died/Computer crashed yesterday. sweatdrop ))
Laini surprised when Muroki ran beside her. What was that? Why Muroki was hurrying so much? Did something happened? Was that even him? She frowned a bit, shook her head and looked at the direction he run. A small carcass of young gaselle could been smelled.
Hisani buried her face in her forepaws. She felt miserable. She had done something stupid and now she regretted it. At least she felt stupid. And afraid. She would lose him, that was for sure. She would lose her best friend.
((Aww... *Pets Hisani.* So unsure.))

((Yeah, Gaia died sweatdrop ))
Muroki found his mother's gravesite again - and Kiuma's command to leave be damned! - and lay there. It was a good place to think. His best friend...she was sweet, and pretty and why not?
Still. He was worried. Maybe he'd go see Laini in a bit. She was Hisani's mother but she was also one of teh adult lionnesses who'd influenced Muroki's own upbringing. He'd stayed in teh Crater with them for a while, hadn't he?

Laini watched at his direction for a long time. Her tail twitched. Something wasn't right. It could be a stranger, perhaps chased from pridelanders. Mrr. The gazelle she had got down was there. What if he would find it and would claim it was her own? Then Hisani wouldn't get anything for dinner. Better to carry it to den.
These thoughts running in her mind, she sprinted towards the carcass.

Dyed ears flicked forwards towards the grey queen - all female cats are queens, even if they aren't Queens, you know - and Muroki sat up. Who? Oh. Laini. Just the lionness he needed to see.
He started to pad her way - and mmm. That smelled like a kill. "Laini?"

Laini stopped and breathed out. Whew. It was Muroki after all. Everything was right. "Ah, it's you Muroki," she said gladly. "How have you been? You seem to have grown at least." Truely, he has already at size of her, no, even bigger.

"Yes. I'm as big as the real Mawali, my father, was. At last!" He breathed out a sigh and offered an honest grin. No sense in being rude and jumping the gun, was there? "And you seem well! Must be all this Prideland food. Though a word of warning, the Pridelanders know we're about...not sur ethey're going to be happy about the den, dear aunt"

"Well, Bakhti promised that we are safe here. Though, honestly, I feel guilty about this. Even though I hunt outside the borders, well if they don't run here, I feel quilty about drinking their water and sleeping on their ground." She looked at the horizon. There the crater was visible just barely. "And I miss home," she sighed. "As soon Hisani is ready, it's time to leave this wonderful lands. At least if it's up to me. Not that I wouldn't like these lands but well. Home is home."

"By home you mean the Crater, Laini? I wouldn't mind knowing your plans, as they were. I could at least make sure you two ladies got back safely...before I go wandering again."
He pawed at the ground, anxiously, like the cub he had been before. Like the cub he had been before when he'd done something naughty and was admitting it. Like chasing the poor Crater rabbits again, or getting 'lost' before naptime.
"If I told you I was in love with your daughter, would you be mad at me?"

"I would love to have you as bodyguard," Laini answered gladly. She studied Muroki's behaviour for some time and shuckled after he asked did he have wrong by saying 'I love you' to her daughter. "Oh you. No, of course no.... Unless if you said it as joke."

"Then I'll be a guardian, as usual. And no, I wouldn't joke about it - I wouldn't want to hurt her, after all." But he hadn't, had he? He hoped not. Even if she didn't love him back, he wouldn't ever want to hurt her. Muroki was no Nyekundu.

Laini smiled and nodded in appreciating manner. "I know that. You are a good boy." She started to move towards the carcass, it would be better carried neared to den anyway. Suddenly, she looked at Muroki and asked: "Do you love my Hisani?"
