He crouched down infront of the hound woman, and felt for her wound. pulling his wine pouch off his belt, he poured a little of it on the cut to clean it of the dirt that had gotten into the wound. "Are you ok? do you feel anything broken?" he said, taking of his helmet and wiping his face.

The sting of the wine on the wound had made Delilah hiss in pain through tightly grinded teeth as it sharply brought her out of her dazedness. "Nothing's broken." She said, moving her head to see the strange man near her. Seeing his hand on her thigh, Delilah attempted to push the man's hand away from her, but her hand was caught in the man's hand by his quick reflexes.
Narrowing her eyes at the man,
Delilah tried to wrench her hand out of his grasp.
"Let go of me!" she hissed, catching a brief glance of his face as she tried to free herself. He, the man had white eyes- He was a blind man!

"Oh jeez, oh jeez, Delilah, hold on!" during the fight, Flicker had made some shots at the minaoataur, but an unknown man jumping out with a spear had turned out to be more affective. "Oh fudge, Delilah, I got a first aid kit, don't worry! Ooooh, that looks bad...stranger, you know how to help her?" Flicker turned to look at the stranger who had rescued them, and now seemed to be caring for Delilah. For all they knew, he could be the enemy, but for some reason Flicker didn't think so. Instead, she was getting a strange sense of deja vu...weird.

Sage vanished her bow with relief before putting the mirage back up over her hair as she hurried over to Delilah. She eyed Flicker who was getting antsy and rolled her eyes before changing course and walking over to Flicker and grabbing her shoulders and shaking her firmly to get her to calm down and think rationally. Sage didn't say anything because of the stranger being there. It didn't matter if he looked familiar Sage didn't talk to strangers or around them. Her friends knew this as well and so usually knew that when Sage would talk around strangers it meant she had decided to trust them a little. She knew nothing of this man and even though he had helped she couldn't help but be wary of him some.

Releasing the womans hand, he felt around in his bag for a clean rag. lightly running his hand up and down her leg, he wrapped the cloth along the full length of her cut and tied it tightly on at the bottom. "That will hold for now, but we need to find a better place to properly clean the wound."

He stood up and slung his shield and spear over his shoulder, "Hello strangers, i dont know my true name, but they call me Kidemonas back home in Mycenae. Who are you? and what are you doing in the Grove of Pan?"

Poking the rag-bandage for certainty, Delilah took the role of spokes-person. "We are travellers from a land that is far away from here."
Placing a hand to balance her as she stood, Delilah then steadied herself on her injured leg. "Do not expect us to know of all of your customs- We are sorry that we have encroached onto the Grove of Pan." She mentally added that Flicker was probably bursting to exclaim that on the contrary, she had known of their customs already.
"Have you travelled far from your home, Kidemonas?" she asked as she 'shifted' into a more human face. It wasn't a fully human face as she still had slightly pointed ears left over from the 'Anubis Ears' and her teeth were predominately canine, but it passed as almost human- It must've been a side effect of being injured- you didn't fully metamorphise back.

Sage watched everything with curiosity caution as she walked over to Delilah and eyed her leg before standing by her friend in case Delilah needed someone to lean on and as Flicker was to hyper at the moment Sage decided to stay near Delilah so she didn't give into the urge to shake Flicker into calming down. She could get hyper as well when she wanted to. Sage absently cast a mirage on Delilah's face to make her look completely human as she eyed the stranger Kidemonas.

Jasmine put her sword away, a little ashamed she couldn't use it more. She was good with swordmanship, it was true, but it was hard to fight something that she had never seen before. Half man, half bull, it looked like, but it was dead now. She wanted to heal Delilah's wound, it looked deep, but it would look strange to Kidemonas if Delilah's wound started to heal. If she could get it to work-the spell had been acting up on her lately. "Hello." Jasmine spoke. "So this is the Grove of Pan, then? I am sorry, we did not know. "

Flicker squeeked a bit after Sage had shaken her to get her to calm down. It helped...a little. Seeing that Sage was giving her an evil eye, Flicker decided to clamp her mouth shut, for now. She didn't feel like being shaken yet again. She gave the stranger another look, and wondered if they had met before.

Sage smirked slightly when she saw Flicker keep her mouth shut. There were times when being able to scare her friends was useful especially on Flicker. It was only fair after all Flicker was usually the one who calmed her down when she got hyper so Sage felt like she should return the favor.

The stranger looked familiar- maybe it was what she heard of before- maybe Delilah had known him in a past life. But then, that just got confusing when she tried to think on that in detail. Casually discarding that thought, Delilah whispered a quiet gratitude to Sage.
"What was that... that 'thing'?" She asked louder, gesturing towards it with a free hand.

Listening to their conversation, he hadn't said a word to interrupt them. But then the girl asked him what the creature.

He was about to explain, but either by some cruel trick of a gods, or his own failure in not hitting it hard enough, the minotaur had staggered to its feet and was now about to begin its charge.

Whirling around on instinct, he pulled his spear and hurled it in one motion, causing it to embed itself in the monsters skull. It dropped dead to the ground, the spear quivering slightly from the force of its impact.

"That, was Pan's Guardian. and now that it is dead, Pan will be very angry with us." he ran over and pulled the spear lose, then worked his way back to the group.

"It is not safe in this forest for us right now, we must go north to the Mycenae army camp. For speeds sake, ill one of you lead. Just keep heading north until you see smoke"

Hurriedly passing many wild looking trees, Delilah felt the atmosphere of the place change dramatically. The forest seemed more angrier, and every small mammal and bird that Delilah happened to glimpse in the corner of her eyes appeared to be scrutinising them.
Even the goat appeared to be somewhat spooked. It was still following them, but slowly, from a slight distance, as if it was unsure of itself.
The plain was open and full of short brownish yellow grass. It reminded Delilah of her homeland steppe or plains. The sky above them wasn't particuarly cloudy, but was the colour between blue of day and the dull orange of sunset.

Minotaur was Pan's guardian. Jasmine didn't have an extensive knowledge on Pan, very brief, but if he could summon things like that...well, it'd be in their best interest to get out of the Grove. The forest intimidated Jasmine, not going so far as to say fear. When they passed into the plain, Jasmine was sure she wasn't the only one to be out of the forest. For a moment, she wondered if the forest was sacred to some other, dark, god.

When they finally got out of the forest, and entered into the plain, Flicker let out a sigh of relief. She wondered to herself briefly if this experience would give her some sort of forest phobia in the imminent future, and then turned to the stranger yet again. "So, how far is this Mycenai camp? Are you sure they'll be hospitable to us?" She frowned a bit, coming to a realization. "You know, there's the chance we might have to enter a forest again..is Pan very forgiving, by chance? Or should I say, is there any way we can appease him?" Hey, she didn't know everything, after all.
